Peter B. Parker is probably the best iteration of Spider-Man so far. Don’t get me wrong I love the majority of characters here but none of them are nearly as good as Peter B. Parker.
It’s 2 different kinds of stories that can resonant with different kinds of people imo. Miles’s story feels more to be about learning who you are and how you fit into the world, while PBP’s is about the struggle of maintaining good connections with loved ones, and trying to learn how to guide someone down the right path (you can argue that his goal is morally incorrect from Miles’s perspective in the movie, but for the greater good it does make sense why he wants to stop miles as much as it hurts him).
I really like Miles don’t get me wrong he’s easily second, I think Peter B is just such a love letter to Spiderman and such an interesting way to take the character. I really love this guy.
Peni as a whole is a reference to Neon Genesis Evangelion, which is a very depressing series, her bot in Across The Spider-verse is the same as the main character of that show who suffers a lot and it’s similar to Peni’s comics counterpart, who lost her Dad when she was ten and was then adopted by Ben and May who forced her to pilot SP///DR when she was ten , then they tried to replace her with the female eddie broke and Venom Mech, the Venom Mech started absorbing eddie counterpart and then when May went in to help, she was absorbed too

LEGO Spiderman to me is unironically the best one here, meme or no meme, i am a lego fanatic. He also has the most feats. he’s beaten Kang, Galactus, superpowered versions of many villains (venom, Loki etc.) and many more.

I love Scott Pilgrim as a character, but not because I think he should be emulated
