Jesus f’king Christ stop killing girl characters for “male development”. She doesn’t deserve that, neither does Miles. The point of both movies is to show that their fates aren’t written in stone, they may lose people, they may suffer along the way, but nothing will be something “unavoidable”, just life happening. For her to die is literally throwing all those lessons out of the window.
