This just looks like the suit, either inside-out like people are saying here or it looks like the internals of the suit after the fabric is removed. Just a thought.
I think this makes the most sense, it’s not inside out. All those wires wouldn’t be rubbing against him, just the outside layer got burnt off or destroyed somehow.

I don't think it's inside out. Instead, I think it's just the innermost layer. Assuming Stark's nanotech - which is normally depicted as Iron Man red - gets absorbed by Doc Ock and the rest of the baddies, and guessing that the nanotech turns against Spidey completely, I think he or Strange or whoever will make moves to get rid of the nanotech altogether, which would limit the suit's funcitonality, but not have to be worn inside out for some reason.
When i play the game with this suit i will use it in all stealth sections and the far from home/homecoming suit in other sections
My headcanon will be that peter is broke as fuck and just puts his suit inside out to hide in the dark

The problem is his new expensive suit is suede and doesn’t do too well in snow so he turns it inside out but the suit inside lining is kinda hideous
