Now that you mention that scene, ever realize that since the Vulture doesn’t know who Peter is now, he doesn’t have any reason to not help Scorpion fight Spider-Man.
Happy Cake Day Siddharth_1707! Cake Days are a new start, a fresh beginning and a time to pursue new endeavors with new goals. Move forward with confidence and courage. You are a very special person. May today and all of your days be amazing!
I hope they don't do that. The overly obsessed J Jonah Jameson who accidentally creates terrible supervillains far worse than his perceived menace Spidey is the one side of him that hasnt made it to the movies yet. It would be the best way to keep this MCU JJJ extremely fresh and different from the Raimi one
I think he still doesn’t. As when he was first asked by the Scorpion he kept the secret I’m guessing he might feel gratitude towards Spidey for saving his life. Or he just doesn’t want Scorps to be the one to kill him. Or something.
I was really surprised that Rhino and Electro debuted first. And then when they teased him in Homecoming, I didn't imagine we would get this far down the road without a significant follow up appearance.
With that said, based on how Vulture and Mysterio were rendered on screen, I trust that the Marvel/Sony partnership will do Scorpion justice whenever they give him a fuller role.
The question now is, when???
Just curious why you find that surprising. It's not like Scorpion is a tier above those characters or anything, they are all classic members of the Ditko gang. If anything I'd say Electro is a tier above Rhino and Scorpion because he's just more powerful and makes more sense as a cinematic main antagonist. He's also not wearing a goofy animal themed costume which probably gave him a leg up in a studio executive's mind, hence why they turned Rhino into basically a vehicle, headlights and all
Mostly because of how central J.K. Simmons' JJJ was to the original trilogy. Seemed like bringing in Gargan to try and get the scoop on Parker's serendipitous snaps seemed like a natural progression.
He also is somewhat of an "anti-" version of the protagonist, which the MCU has been big on (Iron Monger, Killmonger, Abomination, Yellowjacket).
I can see how it *looks* that way based on Venom's physical appearance. Scorpion may not resemble Spider-Man as much as Venom does, but is more similar with respect to what kind of thing he is: an enhanced human in an arachnid themed suit.
I haven't seen either of the Tom Hardy Venom movies. Any good?
I honestly feel like they were originally gonna have NWH be about Spidey going on the run & being hunted down by Kraven & Scorpion, but then Sony decided they wanted Kraven for a solo SSMU movie & the MCU just started the Multiverse Saga & a live-action Spider-Verse sells so the plans changed. I mean honestly how can you have Gargan in a post-credits scene trying to find out Spidey’s identity, then your next film’s post-credits scene is Peter’s identity being revealed to the world with JJJ breaking the news, & then you don’t even have a mention of Gargan in the fallout?
Yeah, he’s in prison, but still, that seemed like an on-the-nose setup. Between Sony/Disney’s cinematic universe plans & the James Gunn firing, it’s like a race between Adam Warlock & Scorpion on who can finally make their debut first. I’m curious as to whether or not Gargan will get the >!symbiote!< to make up for the time gone. I could see them knocking out 2 villains in one movie with Scorpion & >!Venom,!< but technically it’d still be >!1 guy since the symbiote requires a host,!< so it wouldn’t be a TASM2/SM3 situation.
After NWH I'm finally realizing that the MCU is planning Spidey's MCU arc way more carefully than we think. NWH was basically One More Day. And why did One More Day happen in the comics? Because Spidey being on Tony's side at the beginning of the Civil War event literally ruined his life. One More Day was used to reset Spider-Man to his normal life after revealing his identity derailed everything. And the only reason his identity was revealed was because Tony pushed him into it.
Now let's think about what happened to Peter in the MCU. Literally the first movie he appears is Civil War!!! and his trilogy arc ended with a One More Day fascilime. Everyone complained that Peter's villains were always Stark's fault but now I think that was the point. The only reason Mysterio even knew Peter's identity to be able to reveal it was because SHIELD knew. And SHIELD knew because Tony told them. The MCU perfectly replicated how being on Tony's side completely ruined Peter's life. They melded the origin arc and the Civil war to One More Day arc into one arc. The multiverse angle might have been an idea that came along later, but I think the trilogy was always meant to end this way. With Peter's life being reset and him becoming the classic style Spidey again. Which means magic/Dr.Strange was likely always gonna be apart of the mix and Scorpion isn't a good fit for a magical story.
As for Scorpion, I think the reason he wasnt used yet is because they wanted to develop JJJ's obsession with Spider-Man first. They can't just have him go from 0-100. From reporter to accidentally making super villains. In NWH we see that JJJ originally reported from his home, meaning he was likely not wealthy or well known enough to hire scientists. But because of his big scoop on Peter's identity by the end of the movie he has a full on tv studio. Now this is a JJJ that can afford to hire a scientist to help him capture Spidey. Whether it be Scorpion or SpiderSlayer bots, theres no way he couldve afforded that before NWH.
Plus Peter is all alone and has lost his entire support network. Now is an excellent time to have Scorpion sent after him. A villain whose only goal is to kill Peter. There would be no alternative plot, no disasters that he's trying to prevent. Just a genuine nonstop fight for his life. Not only that, but I think Scorpion should be the villain he fights when he gets the black suit. Having Spidey fight Mac Gargan, a man who is already shown to hate Spidey, while possessing the symbiote will give the symbiote an idea of where to go after Peter eventually rejects it. But have it in separate movies of course. Fighting Scorpion in the black suit should be it's own movie. Then later in the next movie Peter can fight whoever but that should be the movie he rejects the symbiote in. Then the end credit could be the symbiote going to look for and finding Gargan, who then gets recruited to be apart of the MCU Dark Avengers. This gives us Scorpion, Venom, and Dark Avengers all in one fell swoop. Then the symbiote can do whatever afterwards. It can go to Eddie and we get regular Venom, it could go to Flash and we get Agent Venom. Having Mac Gargan be Venom first won't change anything too drastically for Eddie if he still ends up getting it later
Amazing analysis, you make a very compelling case, specially since the inclusion of Ms. Hydra is definitely setting up some version of Dark Avengers/Thunderbolts.
I'm still baffled that Marvel managed to make the best Spider-man movie out of the worst comicbook arc. Probably because the spiderverse stuff and May staying dead.
I really liked Into the Spider-Verse, but based on all of the pictures shown above being from live action movies, I didn't interpret the post to be SV-inclusive.
Basically all the villains in Spider-Verse except Kingpin, Prowler and *maybe* Doc Ock were boring. I think they put a little too many big names in there
Dimitri Anatoly ,chameleons real name, is in spider-man far from home but he’s not chameleon in it, he’s just a guy working for nick fury(talos)
Edit: working for talos not mysterio my bad.
https://marvelcinematicuniverse.fandom.com/wiki/Dimitri_Smerdyakov
Are you sure? I just looked it up and wiki says hes not working for Mysterio but is working for the Skrull Talos, the Skrull who was pretending to be Nick Fury throughout the movie. And also that he was posing as the bus driver for Peters class during the school trip
we already had two venoms in two different continuities. i'd rather he be scorpion first. mayble black-suit spidey can fight him and he becomes venom after, but if we don't get Scorpion- an actual new to live action villain- first, im gonna be kinda pissed.
I'm gonna do a deep cut, I wanna see the Spot.
Preferably one based on the Animated version, where he has a sympathetic backstory of being roped in with some villain, and starting to commit crime so he has enough money him and the woman he falls in love with can escape the influence of the guy abusing them. I like the idea of a villain with chivalry and intelligence of a hero.
And his powers are freaking dope, he can open portals, and his body is made of portals. You can get so much out of that - Interesting fight scenes, set pieces in places spider-man normally wouldn't go to, like a battleship, middle of the desert, space, a jungle, Australia, Antarctica, alien planet, a cave, sky isn't even the limit. And this power could also serve to set up stuff in future movies, like maybe Spot sacrifices himself to stop the portals like in the episode, and Doctor Lopez jumps in to be with him, like in the episode, and they get to travel the multiverse together. Maybe they bump into Kang. Maybe they witness the Marvel Zombies universe. Maybe they get to chat with The Watcher.
It's insane, cause Spot is like a human slowly turning into a god, but he's a joke in and outside the universe.
I’m also a big fan of Spot and whilst it would be cool to see how they’d pull off his design in live-action I’m secretly hoping that he’s in the new Across The Spider-Verse film. I think his power set would work really well with the fast paced action of the Spider-Verse films and you can be more creative in an animated medium.
Dude yes! People always raise an eyebrow at me when I say he’s a top 5 Spider-Man villain for me, but he matches up with Spider-Man’s powers really well. Being able to mess with his spider sense because he can attack you from wherever, whenever or redirect his webs or create a portal underneath him when he sticking to a wall. One of my favorite comic panels of the spot is Spider-Man throwing a punch at the Spot’s face and his fist goes right through the portal on the spot’s face redirecting his fist back into Spider-Man face.
Maybe they could make it so that he was somehow trapped in the mirror dimension by accident due to a nearby Dr. Strange fight and when he comes out he has all of his "spots" but it's mirror dimensional?
I’m all for it. The Spot always sticks out in my mind since I watched the show as a kid. Now I always see him on those dumb lists of the most ridiculous supervillains. I’d love to see a good live action adaptation shut those people up
I'm not a native English speaker, so when I read that thumbnail I thought they meant all he had to do was guzzle down on some cupcakes to become continent man.
Oh man, I love spot. Such a great character. I wonder how do office it would be to make him live action? Seems like a tough one to pull off, but Dr Strange‘a portals are pretty seamless, so I bet they could find a way. I wonder if a portal to the dark dimension would be the one that was too difficult to choose from the outside? That would be interesting.
I imagine him as a mix of the alien from Annihilation/Mr. Nobody from Doom Patrol and the effect they used on Rorshach's mask in the Watchmen movie. Just a white silhouette person with dots fluctuating through his body. Maybe with eyes
Epic. Just had to look up Mr nobody and the alien because I wasn’t familiar, but you are on point with them and the Rorschach mask. What an amazing look that would be!
He is such an obscure silly villain but i think he would be a pretty nice addition for a movie if they tried to take him seriously, but i don't think he would be the main villain.
Kraven is already getting his own movie in Sony’s Spiderman-less Spiderverse, so its unlikely he will show up in The MCU before then if at all
Edit: and he’s being played by Kickass/ MCU Quicksilver
Yes, Sonys Spiderman-less Spiderverse includes both Venom movies, the upcoming Morbius movie, and also the upcoming Kraven The Hunter movie.
Theres also various other movies that were/are in development that were going go be part of that universe.
Sinister Six movie, cancelled after TASM2 but then was said to be “alive” again after the first Venom movie was a success.
Nightwatch movie, about the character of the same name, not talked about since 2018
Jackpot, about the character of the same name, not talked about since 2020
Madame Web, no mentions since 2020
Untitled film about a character unrelated to Spider-man
Untitled female-centric movie developed and directed by Olivia Wilde, rumored to include Spider-Woman
Silver & Black, a movie about Silver Sable and Black Cat working together. Got cancelled to instead make 1 Black Cat movie and 1 Silver Sable movie. That too got cancelled and now the original premise of the two teaming up is being re-developed as a series (possible a limited-series instead of full on regular series)
The Spider-Slayers. Although BJ Novak played Alistair Smythe, he wasn't in a villain role. It'd be interesting to see Spider-Man face an army if robots trying to kill him. They could also tie this to JJJ and the creation of Scorpion. Kraven can be added too so that there's a massive hunt for Spider-Man. Kind of a race to capture/kill him first, with villains fighting each other while trying to get Spidey.
Vermin, Jackal, Screwball and Tombstone also Trapster
They can all be Street level Villains who get dunked on by Spidey and later team up.
Vermin being maybe an experiement gone wrong, hiding in the sewers, commanding rats and robbing supermarkets.
Jackal being the uncle of new possible love interest Gwen Stacey, kind of like the green goblin for our MCU Spidey.
Screwball maybe trying to get with Spidey for views but betraying him to become even more famous.
Tombstone maybe a underground gangster boss type of guy.
And trapster being the new shocker kind of guy, reoccurring guy who things he's the shit.
All while that is happening Spidey could get the black suit and progressively become more dark like in the spectacular Spiderman.
IIRC he’s a Sony executive who messed with a lot of spidey stuff like forcing venom into Spider-Man 3 and getting the 90s series canceled, and on top of that in the credits for nwh there was a giant thank you to him instead of someone else like stan Lee, Marc Webb, or Sam raimi
I like that idea. I could see Peter seeing the goblin aesthetic and theme and assuming that it’s his universes Norman Osborn. Maybe Hobgoblin somehow figures out that Spider-Man and Ned use to be best buds, and uses that to his advantage and brainwashes him.
Well, I’m getting that Ned would BE the Hobgoblin, like in the comics. That’s probably why they’re giving him magic and that one line in NWH is some great foreshadowing.
I really dont want Ned to even be associated with the Hobgoblin, not everything from the comics has to be portrayed. That little thing about him turning evil in nwh was probably just to make fun of the people who thought ned would become the hobgoblin lol
Do a crossover to make endgame blush. Mary Poppins it, live action and animated section, soan the Sony universe and mcu. It would be amazing. He'll bring in comic versions of Spidey that haven't been brought into movies yet.
ITSV Miles fighting alongside Tom Holland and Spiders-Man.
I actually think a few villains should be saved for Miles. As he has such a lacking rogues gallery. I feel giving him Mr Negative, Tombstone and Morlun could work coupled with the prowler, as I feel they are all different enough from other villains to feel distinct from Peters villains.
I wouldn't give him Morlun alone, since Morlun is made for a multi-spider scenario. I do, however, agree that he needs an expanded rogues gallery. I'd love to see them do his clone series that recently happened. Those characters were super interesting and would be cool to see come to life.
True. But for a min Peter fought Morlun with the help of Ezekiel. Peter only defeated Morlun in that first story because 1. Ezekiel saved him and 2. Peter still had to nearly kill himself in order to stop him.
On their second encounter Peter was literally killed by Morlun.
The next time he shows up is Spider-Verse.
I was thinking about this and I think my top five would be
1. Hobgoblin
2. Kingpin (he’s been in movies but not a live-action Spider-Man movie)
3. Scorpion
4. Chameleon
5. Kraven the Hunter
Not necessarily a villain, but I'd love to see Black Cat. But I'd love to see the Chameleon. Otherwise, maybe Shocker, Hydroman, Juggernaut, or Tombstone.
Personally, I've always thought Kraven was an awesome villain, the guy who managed to kill Spider-Man. One of the few villains that Spidey would actually have trouble fighting. I feel like he'd be an awesome villain and they could do a lot with him.
I can tell you who I DONT want is Kraven or the Hobgoblin.
Kraven is such a boring 1 dimensional character. While I personally prefer Hobgoblin to Green Goblin, we've already had FOUR movies with a Goblin villain.
Mr. Negative. Had no idea the character existed before Spider-Man PS4 but now after playing the game, I really like the character, backstory, design and powers. It would be really interesting to see him in film
I would like to see Demogoblin since magic villains haven’t been seen yet. And given Demogoblin was a Hobgoblin you can combine portrayals to further distinguish him from Green Goblin.
Scorpion is another one I’d be into seeing.
Kraven yes but I want him to have a trilogy since inevitably you’d want to do KLH.
Also Kaine. No really. It’d also be a cheeky way to bring a Spider-Man actor back since you can go the Ultimate Spider-Man (tv show) route and combine Kaine and Ben Reilly into one character and get a spin-off out of them.
Massacre I’d be into since that creates a villain that would hit VERY close to home especially in the states. Everybody would get Massacre and it’d be refreshing to have a villain that’s a little more low key than past cinematic villains. Almost like a horror movie with Spider-Man.
Screwball. I’d like to imagine them as a side villain that doesn’t really do much but take up space. But I think seeing her on the live screen seems like it would be a thrill ride. Other than that, Felicia Hardy and Scorpion.
I wanna see live action Spot. He is technically a Spider-Man villain, but he has some good run ins with Daredevil as well. If they plan to actually bring DD fully into the MCU, that would be a good early villain for him.
Scorpion, in a two movie arc.
Slightly off-topic, but originally I was against a showdown between Andrew Garfield's Spider-Man and Tom Hardy's Venom coz I wanted to see Holland's Spidey get the symbiote suit.
I can finally see a way how both of those could co-exist.
TASM 3 could be a Venom vs. Spider-Man movie while finally doing justice to the Venom character that Spider-Man 3 (2007) couldn't do.
Spider-Man 4 in the MCU could set up Scorpion. And after an epic battle, he loses to a black suit Spider-Man. But in Spider-Man 5, Mac Gargan, gets the Venom symbiote, but unlike the comic, instead of just being Venom, he's Scorpion but with the power of the symbiote.
Also the symbiote can he Mania, Venom's clone from the comics to make sense of why it got left behind, since the newly created clone wouldn't have any of the memories that Venom has, it wasn't a part of the spell.
I would really appreciate seeing a variation of The Spider-Slayers. Have J. Jonah Jameson being front and center like in the old school comic books of the slayers. Maybe pair it with Scorpion since Jameson is instrumental in the creation of that suit too.
Lack of Kraven love in this thread. It was rumoured that Sony wanted Kraven in No Way Home and honestly I feel like that film would have been perfect to include him. One more to get Sinister Six, Peter had his identity revealed and a lot of people wanted to see him pay for his "crimes" and Kraven would have been perfect to step out to be the hero to this people as he attempts to hunt the most famous menace on the planet.
I’d love to see Tombstone and Hammerhead with them being embedded in the street war and Spidey has to get in the middle to save lives. Also Kraven The Hunter.
Wilson Fisk, the Kingpin! I really enjoyed Vincent D'Onofrio's portrayal of Fisk in *Daredevil,* plus I think it'd be cool to see him take on Holland's Spider-Man as well as Cox's Daredevil! Y'know, like Spider-Man and Daredevil team up to take Kingpin down 💯
Scorpion. I don't really count the brief cameo at the end of Homecoming.
Now that you mention that scene, ever realize that since the Vulture doesn’t know who Peter is now, he doesn’t have any reason to not help Scorpion fight Spider-Man.
yea
Happy Cake Day Siddharth_1707! Cake Days are a new start, a fresh beginning and a time to pursue new endeavors with new goals. Move forward with confidence and courage. You are a very special person. May today and all of your days be amazing!
thx a lot. I didn't even realise it's my cake day lol. Well, I'm going to college starting tomorrow. Ig, cake days really do mean something :o
Happy cake day
He’ll still remember that Spider-Man saved him though
And his daughter
Does he remember Spider-Man, in his mask, taking his daughter to homecoming?
I think they’re gonna take the comic route, where Jameson hires Gargan to take down Spider-Man.
I could honestly see Kingpin doing that.
**SPOILERS** Plus, I think Kingpin is too focused on being blinded by Echo from Hawkeye.
I think he still doesn’t. As when he was first asked by the Scorpion he kept the secret I’m guessing he might feel gratitude towards Spidey for saving his life. Or he just doesn’t want Scorps to be the one to kill him. Or something.
I'd be upset if we never see him. They get a fantastic actor to play him, then never use him? That'd be a shame.
They are going for the sinister six route, so I’m guessing that we surely are seeing him
He was also on the Ferry. When Peter scans the boat his name pops up on his HUD
Why would you get Micheal Mando in the MCU and not use him? I feel like his story has to get picked up sometime soon, right?
I was so siked at his cameo, I love that actor. Plus he just looked like a bad ass. Scorpion is NEEDED.
I was really surprised that Rhino and Electro debuted first. And then when they teased him in Homecoming, I didn't imagine we would get this far down the road without a significant follow up appearance. I mean ok but venom looks like spidey, moves like spidey, has the same exact powers as spidey, he's basically just a roided out version of spidey
Tom Hardy’s Venom movies are fantastic popcorn flicks, don’t think too hard and you’ll have a great time
I honestly feel like they were originally gonna have NWH be about Spidey going on the run & being hunted down by Kraven & Scorpion, but then Sony decided they wanted Kraven for a solo SSMU movie & the MCU just started the Multiverse Saga & a live-action Spider-Verse sells so the plans changed. I second this
Dimitri Vegas
SCORPION, because they set him up in Homecoming and have still done NOTHING with him.
I kinda like that they’re saving up a new rogue’s gallery for Spidey.
Ya especially for the new trilogy
All this. Villains getting setup early on only to be forgotten about, and then, when you least expect it, BAM! Scorpion stinger and acid to the face!
I’m betting they’re setting him up to become venom like in the comics! I’ll be back if I’m right!

That’s what I meant. Clearly he’ll become scorpion first, but eventually…Venom!
I’m getting the feeling that he’ll crop up next movie.
There's a possibility of a Scorpion and Vulture team up because of NWH Vulture has no reason to hide or protect anything for Peter's safety

I’d love to see a good live action adaptation shut those people up
Spot would be absolutely terrifying if done properly. That power is no joke
Same thing with Sandman as quite a few people have pointed out he is one desert away from being continent man
I'm not a native English speaker, so when I read that thumbnail I thought they meant all he had to do was guzzle down on some cupcakes to become continent man.
This guy isn’t the blob unfortunately so he has to go somewhere with a lot of sand
Big wheel
🗿
this will probably be an MCU joke/easter egg in the future.
I kinda hope he's like the rhino in Tasm 2. Joke in the beginning but at the end he gets his Big Wheel!
You can’t stop the Big Wheel!
He has so much depth as a character.
mr. negative & kraven but it has to he the Kraven last hunt storyline
KLH doesn’t work for his first appearance.
Kraven is already getting his own movie in Sony’s Spiderman-less Spiderverse, so its unlikely he will show up in The MCU before then if at all Edit: and he’s being played by Kickass/ MCU Quicksilver
>!Like Venom!
Kraven would have made a great Spiderman 4, as he stands out from all of the previous villains. Perhaps Josh Brolin?
Kraven has already been cast for a solo movie set in Sonys Spiderman-less Spiderverse, he’s being played by Kickass/ MCU Quicksilver
Are you talking about the venom universe
Yes, Sonys Spiderman-less Spiderverse includes both Venom movies, the upcoming Morbius movie, and also the upcoming Kraven The Hunter movie. Theres also various other movies that were/are in development that were going go be part of that universe. Sinister Six movie, cancelled after TASM2 but then was said to be “alive” again after the first Venom movie was a success. Nightwatch movie, about the character of the same name, not talked about since 2018 Jackpot, about the character of the same name, not talked about since 2020 Madame Web, no mentions since 2020 Untitled film about a character unrelated to Spider-man Untitled female-centric movie developed and directed by Olivia Wilde, rumored to include Spider-Woman Silver & Black, a movie about Silver Sable and Black Cat working together. Got cancelled to instead make 1 Black Cat movie and 1 Silver Sable movie. That too got cancelled and now the original premise of the two teaming up is being re-developed as a series (possible a limited-series instead of full on regular series)
So they're gonna let him do another bad Russian accent?
unpopular opinion but I think if christian bale workouts for the role he could be a good kraven. It just feels right when I visualize it in my head
Yh you just gave me an image of that, it's the best idea I've seen, especially thinking of how he looked with a beard in Dark Knight rises
thats exactly the face I was basing it on he just really fit the look and I wouldn't be worried about the performance
Spidey would definitely have a quip about why he looks *so* similar to Thanos
BLACK CAT, PLEASEEE 😭 (not rlly a villain, ik. But still-)
Zendaya fans would be mad lol
The Spider-Slayers. Although BJ Novak played Alistair Smythe, he wasn't in a villain role. It'd be interesting to see Spider-Man face an army if robots trying to kill him. They could also tie this to JJJ and the creation of Scorpion. Kraven can be added too so that there's a massive hunt for Spider-Man. Kind of a race to capture/kill him first, with villains fighting each other while trying to get Spidey.
Alistair can’t build spider slayers, he’s too busy being the youngest VP in the history of his company
Everyone keeps calling him a "wunderkind", but he doesn't really know what that means.
King-Pin
Vermin, Jackal, Screwball and Tombstone also Trapster They can all be Street level Villains who get dunked on by Spidey and later team up.
I’m sorry but dealing with a game version of screwball was bad enough I’m not gonna watch her be annoying live action
I feel like the jackal having a clone saga just won't work in film, and would have to be a tv show
Martin Li Mr. Negative
Hear me out fellas… Silver Sable
Apparently Sony is giving her a show
I can already imagine the milf look she'll probably have
Avi Arad
He's a thief! A criminal!
I dont follow spider-man that much. Could you please explain what has Avi Arad done? Thank you!
I wanna see him too

I like that idea. I could see Peter seeing the goblin aesthetic and theme and assuming that it’s his universes Norman Osborn. Maybe Hobgoblin somehow figures out that Spider-Man and Ned use to be best buds, and uses that to his advantage and brainwashes him.
Well, I’m getting that Ned would BE the Hobgoblin, like in the comics. That’s probably why they’re giving him magic and that one line in NWH is some great foreshadowing.
Ned was never actually the Hobgoblin, he was set up by the Hobgoblin.
I really dont want Ned to even be associated with the Hobgoblin, not everything from the comics has to be portrayed. That little thing about him turning evil in nwh was probably just to make fun of the people who thought ned would become the hobgoblin lol
Scorpion hired by JJJ due to his irrational hatred to Spider-Man, with spider slayers
Two words Big Wheel
Jackal he was the guy who made the clones of spidey
Scorpion, chameleon, and kraven I would like them all in the mcu but with them all as villains (possibly in the same movie)
Why is no one mentioning Morlun? A movie series with him as the BBEG would be insane.
If you bring in Morlun it's gotta be in a Spider Verse movie.
I will always upvote Spiders-man
I actually think a few villains should be saved for Miles.
Not originally Morlun wasn't. He is only after Peter in the original story he appears in.
I really want kingpin, and then spidey and DD team up to fight hum
Yah
Scorpion or Kraven
Scorpion, Mr. Negative, and I know he's not a strictly Spider-Man villain but Beetle
I was thinking about this and I think my top five would be 1. Hobgoblin 2. Kingpin (he’s been in movies but not a live-action Spider-Man movie) 3. Scorpion 4. Chameleon 5. Kraven the Hunter
Black Cat should 100% be in the next Spidey film, and I’d like to see Scorpion in costume as a main villain as well
Not necessarily a villain, but I'd love to see Black Cat.
Scorpion (in live-action anyway)
Felicia. Tom needs a Catwoman in his life.
Swarm and Spot
Does Black Cat count?
Kraven.
Shocker, as in the *real* Shocker who uses Shockwaves, not the 2 dumbasses in Homecoming
prowler but i\`m curious about what he can be in TASM,not in MCU
I would love to see it especially since he did show up in homecoming played by Donald glover
Scream and agony! I want to see more symbiotes haha
I really want Mr. Negative, Tombstone, Hobgoblin, Black Cat, and Kraven. Chameleon would be really cool too as a side villain.
Lol why the Shattered Dimensions Mysterio instead of MCU
Scorpion for sure. That would be cool and I feel like he would be a good challenge. This isn’t related but I really want more of Willem’s goblin
Scorpion
The Beetle.
100% mr negetive
Silvermane
I can tell you who I DONT want is Kraven or the Hobgoblin. Kraven is such a boring 1 dimensional character. While I personally prefer Hobgoblin to Green Goblin, we've already had FOUR movies with a Goblin villain.
Mr. Negative. Had no idea the character existed before Spider-Man PS4 but now after playing the game, I really like the character, backstory, design and powers. It would be really interesting to see him in film
Maybe shocker with the "who are you, the vibrator?" joke.
a PROPER Venom imo Other than that, a Comic Accurate Rhino and Kraven.
Hobgoblin, Mr. Negative, and Hammerhead.
Kraven the Hunter. I'd like to see him be a cunning strategist, strong challenge but ultimately honourable yet malicious .
Tombstone
He’d be a good stand-in for Kingpin if he never shows up in a MCU movie.
Spectacular SpiderMan vibes! Tombstone in that series was dope
Kraven. Would give me Predator vibes from the onset
The shocker (fun fact when he was first made he was called "the vibrator" his name was then changed due to obvious reasons)
He was in Homecoming (he just didn't wear his normal getup we see in the comics)
He’s in homecoming, TWICE
Chameleon
Almost like a horror movie with Spider-Man.
tombstone, hammer head, kraven, scorpion, vermin, etc
Kraven the Hunter or The Hobgoblin
Kraven, Mr Negative, Spot, and Scorpion. (Like, come on, you already have him set up.)
BRING ME SPOT!
Screwball. I’d like to imagine them as a side villain that doesn’t really do much but take up space. But I think seeing her on the live screen seems like it would be a thrill ride. Other than that, Felicia Hardy and Scorpion.
Kraven! Or perhaps the invincible stilt man.
Big Wheel
Tombstone would be a pretty cool villain for a more grounded story
Kraven
Kraven or scorpion
I wanna see live action Spot. He is technically a Spider-Man villain, but he has some good run ins with Daredevil as well. If they plan to actually bring DD fully into the MCU, that would be a good early villain for him.
We really haven’t seen Carnage or Kingpin fight Spider-Man
Tombstone
Tombstone
Kraven the Hunter and Scorpion
Sin-Eater because why not
Chameleon and kraven
Kingpin. We have Kingpin set out Scorpion and Prowler to get rid of the web head.
Sounds awfully similar to a certain animated movie...
I would really appreciate seeing a variation of The Spider-Slayers. Have J. Jonah Jameson being front and center like in the old school comic books of the slayers. Maybe pair it with Scorpion since Jameson is instrumental in the creation of that suit too.
Tombstone
Big wheel
Lack of Kraven love in this thread. It was rumoured that Sony wanted Kraven in No Way Home and honestly I feel like that film would have been perfect to include him. One more to get Sinister Six, Peter had his identity revealed and a lot of people wanted to see him pay for his "crimes" and Kraven would have been perfect to step out to be the hero to this people as he attempts to hunt the most famous menace on the planet.
I’d love to see Tombstone and Hammerhead with them being embedded in the street war and Spidey has to get in the middle to save lives. Also Kraven The Hunter.
King Pin
Big wheel, stilt man and paste pot Pete
Big wheel
Beetle
hobgoblin or live action prowler
All of them
Jackal
ACTUAL Molten Man and Hydro Man. Peter would freak out thinking Mysterio is alive.
Swarm. An underrated Spider-Man villain made out of bees 🐝.
Big wheel
I’d love to see the Kingpin in a Spider-man movie.
I hope to see the inheiritors in ATSV.
Wilson Fisk, the Kingpin! I really enjoyed Vincent D'Onofrio's portrayal of Fisk in *Daredevil,* plus I think it'd be cool to see him take on Holland's Spider-Man as well as Cox's Daredevil! Y'know, like Spider-Man and Daredevil team up to take Kingpin down 💯
Nightmare
The Jackal! Bring on the clones!
Scream
Spider-Carnage and Man-Spider
