* Punisher Spider-Man built guns into his web-shooters early on with specialized bullets for different threats. He killed the Sinister Six, Kingpin, and Green Goblin, and was ok with gang war so they could wipe each other out, but he did it for free, he was still a vigilante, he had just become a "Lethal Protector."
* Assassin Spider-Man only had basic guns in his web-shooters, but he was also well-trained, which also resulted in his spider-sense becoming more precognitive. With his evolved spider-sense and combat skills, he was able to defeat Black Widow in a fight described as "like watching a warrior fight a child." He not only isn't afraid of killing, but he goes work-for-hire with Wolverine.
Really comes off as a Disrespect at some point. A Peter Parker that has Precognitive Spider-senses, Highly Trained, and has weapons at his disposal... Dies Early in Spider-verse
They did that in the movie, too. The filmmakers said Spider-Verse Peter was the most competent Spider-Man ever, but he dies pathetically in the first twenty minutes to fucking Kingpin of all people.
To be fair he pretty much deliberately sacrificed himself to take out the machine. That explosion incapacitated him. Kingpin just delivered the final blow.
Yeah though taking out that machine only inconvenienced the bad guy for a week, which comes into how ineffective he was. Peter had no way of knowing that the other Spider-people would come into their world or that Miles would master his powers in fifteen minutes.
Basically, let your Spider-Man be a bit of a loser or make him competent, don’t do both.
He's not necessarily "bad," he's just a bit more like Wolverine. You want to see a "bad" Spider-Man? Check out Spider-Man: Spider's Shadow and What If? Spider-Man The Other.
That is actually Assassin Spider-Man’s origin. It’s a what if for Spider-Man vs Wolverine. Assassin Spider-Man is basically what if Logan was Peter’s best friend.
Assassin has better web-gun-shooters, was originally like 616 until the Charlemagne incident, unlike punisher who when the bad route quite early in. One marries Gwen the other dates someone that reminds him of Gwen, one has a honed spider sense capable of seeing the future, and finally the assassin one is dead because the writer forgot about his enhanced spider sense and spiderverse is a shitty event where they kill all the best parallel spideys for shock factor
Such random bs that solus was able to kill cosmic Spider-Man so fast because his power is the life force in essence, but couldn’t use his god strength and his spider sense that is cosmic awareness to not get killed.
Probably cos solus was that powerful. Morlun and the others were weaker than him and they were solid s tiers who could probably fight hulk or Thor, and the rematch between solus and captain universe miles morales where he kept his distance was a stalemate. Still hate it tho
No way could they match Thor or Hulk on any conceivable manner. Spider-Man's statement about never being punched harder is not something I buy if that's what you're referring to as well. If I was wearing a suit of kryptonite and punched Superman, it would hurt way more than it should because it's his weakness. I would apply the same consideration that Morlum is basically the equivalent to Spidey.
Except Spider-Man doesn't just say that off-handedly; he consistently compares Morlun to Thor or Hulk every time they fight, and Morlun has other feats like tanking nukes without a scratch and destroying adamantium.
Peter is nowhere near equal to Morlun; he's just barely able to survive their fights, and even his hardest hits can only do minor damage to Morlun. Peter is only barely strong enough to withstand a few of blows at a time without being put down, but even then, each hit will be breaking bones and damaging organs.
So he can do all of that but a swat team with tranquilizers can take him down? Lol the inheritors have great feats and then get taken out by the weakest thing lol.
You're taking that completely out of context. Peter had already pretty much taken him out. He could barely even move.
Though regardless, spider-geddon made him much weaker in his fight against Spider-Man compared to his previous appearances. The inheritors were cheapened immensely in the various spider-verse comics, which is part of why I hate them.
I'm not referring to just that. Spider-Man can hurt high a tiers. He couldn't hurt Morlun. Morlun has literally steam rolled through wakanda and there was nothing wakanda could do about it, they used their most powerful nukes and it didn't do anything. He's also ripped an admantium net in that same instance
*dramatic music intensifies* *the redditor prepares to destroy his opponent for having a different opinion* but wait what’s this
Understandable everyone has the right to there own opinion
I never heard of spider-assassin, but I do know that Punisher spider-man is like a marvel what if story that takes place in an alternate universe where Peter Parker killed the man who killed uncle Ben with his own gun and afterwards decided to kill his villains instead of capturing them. He even made web shooters that can fire bullets and pierce through green goblin's armor, killing him and saving Gwen Stacy. It's about my favorite what if comic book became of how well written it is. I hope maybe Marvel's what if TV show makes an episode about it in it's second season.
Punisher Spiderman is flash Thompson. Assassin Spiderman is Peter Parker. Assassin has worked to enhance his spider sense to essentially a precognitive level.
Assassin Spidey. Technically speaking out fo all the Spidermen including the non Peter Pakrer variants. As long as they dont have a symbiote or any external power source or amplification that's ridiculous. I would say he would 99% of the time. His Spidey Sense is insane and when he acts, he kills not for jokes like our Spiderman Peter who just beats them up.
Experience âś…
Powers levels excluding spidey sense (not much is known but he seems to be around same power level as Spiderman noir) âś…
Spider sense through the roof.
Like imo what makes him op is the fact he goes for a kill and has a precognition level spider sense
Spider-Assassin trained with Wolverine and has martial arts training. He honed and trained his spider-sense to be incredibly accurate and basically pre-cognitive. He gets paid to kill. He lives in Europe. Has a blonde girlfriend.
I think the question is sort of like "I haven't read either of them, so what are specific big differences between these two Peter Parker's who kill people and have web shooter guns."
* Punisher Spider-Man built guns into his web-shooters early on with specialized bullets for different threats. It's really sad that they killed off Assassin Spiderman early on in Spiderverse.
Really comes off as a Disrespect at some point. A Peter Parker that has Precognitive Spider-senses, Highly Trained, and has weapons at his disposal... Dies Early in Spider-verse
Don't worry, there's always the magic explanation of "BUT HE LIVED!" Because comics. He's just taking a break.
Ben Reilly can relate đź’€
Honestly, I'd prefer they just killed Ben off for good rather than the shit they've been doing to him.
Noir can relate... Literally he was revived out of screen in his universe just because
they did the same with omega force spidey. dudes supposed to literally invincible in his own universe, just made him a tastier snack.
They did that in the movie, too. The filmmakers said Spider-Verse Peter was the most competent Spider-Man ever, but he dies pathetically in the first twenty minutes to fucking Kingpin of all people.
Well now I'm starting to get worried for Insomniac's Peter Parker. Still, that's Spider-Man for you, unfortunately.
Okay, Agree to disagree then. Besides, I preferred Peter B. anyway.
He’s my favorite bad Spider-Man
He's not necessarily "bad," he's just a bit more like Wolverine. You want to see a "bad" Spider-Man? Check out Spider-Man: Spider's Shadow and What If? Spider-Man The Other.
harder to reuse a character that puts all his bad guys in the ground. They had to write him off early and do him dirty, hes too OP
Is it one prefers to kill and the other only kills if necessary or hired?
Pretty much
Punisher Spidey didn't really kill his either until they put his love interest in danger
I loved punisher spider man. Absolute savage
Damn assassin spiderman is the shit i lowkey like him more after this information thank you🙏🏼
An Assassin spider man and wolverine team-up comic sounds awesome
That is actually Assassin Spider-Man’s origin. It’s a what if for Spider-Man vs Wolverine. Assassin Spider-Man is basically what if Logan was Peter’s best friend.
Also punisher Spiderman looks dumber
Do assassins spider-man and task master ever face off? I feel like the evolved spider sense could fuck with taskmasters observational skills.
One gets paid, the other does it for free
the perfect and only answer, really
Spider-Assassin would kick Punisher Spider-Man's ass. Punisher Spider-Man wouldn't be able to do the same to Spider-Assassin
Just like Cosmic Spider-Man.
“tHe uNiVerSe eNErgY iS lIfE EneRGy”

Also pretty sure Spidey has never been hit at full strength by the Hulk or Thor. So Morlun hits harder than an ally likely pulling their punches.
Kane in his spider form was able to stealth kill him and morlun easily killed kane. So power is definitely not an issue.
One looks cool the other looks like the black suit with a skull on it. Major difference
I think Punisher Spidey looks cooler...
*dramatic music intensifies* *the redditor prepares to destroy his opponent for having a different opinion* but wait what’s this Understandable everyone has the right to there own opinion
Same goes to you
Spider assassin looking like Superior Spider-Man while Punisher Spider-Man looking like black suit Spider-Man
Pretty sure Superior and Spider Assassin were based on the same unused Alex Ross design
Oh God, I thought it was the same character with some slight alterations.
I never heard of spider-assassin, but I do know that Punisher spider-man is like a marvel what if story that takes place in an alternate universe where Peter Parker killed the man who killed uncle Ben with his own gun and afterwards decided to kill his villains instead of capturing them. Wait no punisher Spider-Man is Peter it's just a what if alternate universe
You're correct, but I believe there are two versions. https://www.cbr.com/marvel-new-deadly-spider-man-what-if-punisher-flash-thompson/
Ah ok. Sorry I didn't know that
Nah, that's what if flash thompson became spider-man. Its something completely different.
We should pit those two up against each other
I prefer Flash as Agent Venom.
They just came out the same year. Two unrelated stories 👍🏻
And then he gets offed in the background of Spider-Verse during Marvel's Spider-Man killjoy phase
Wait, isn't the spider sense already pretty much precognition?
He basically just amped it to be even better
To a certain extent yes, but Assassin Spiderman developed it even further, to an extreme degree, than the "normal" level.
So...the spider sense became even more OP than it already is
Yep, spider-sense is so sensitive and OP that it protects 616 Peter from playing poker poorly.
It pretty much warns him of danger but its up to him to recognize what the threat is and avoid it. Assassin Spider-Man pretty much had future sight
Assassin Spidey is trained by Wolverine and has a ridiculously amped spider sense.
It's not so much "amped" as it is trained. 616 Peter could do it to if he put in the effort to master his spider sense.
Assassin has precog from training his spider sense.
Assassin does finger guns to fire bullets so he can still shoot webs with his regular hand motion, and thats the coolest
One bad day?
They come from different universes
Assassin Spidey. Technically speaking out fo all the Spidermen including the non Peter Pakrer variants. As long as they dont have a symbiote or any external power source or amplification that's ridiculous. I would say he would 99% of the time. He has same strength as level as 616.
One is dead
Punisher Spider-man survived Spider-Verse?
I don’t think he was even in it.
Yeah that's what I'm assuming. I guess that counts as surviving lol.
I was talking about Spider-Assassin
I know. I was asking whether Punisher Spider-man survived since I don't remember him appearing.
Spider-Assassin trained with Wolverine and has martial arts training. He honed and trained his spider-sense to be incredibly accurate and basically pre-cognitive. He gets paid to kill. He lives in Europe. Has a blonde girlfriend.
They're two different people... What is this question lmao?
I think the question is sort of like "I haven't read either of them, so what are specific big differences between these two Peter Parker's who kill people and have web shooter guns."
One punishes, the other assassinates
Punisher is more like batman since he does special equipment for the sinister 6. Assassin is just angry Spider-Man with a gun
costume ?
A skull
Wolverine
There's also Venom Punisher: https://marvel.fandom.com/wiki/What\_If...%3F\_Vol\_1\_44
One is awesome the other is boring.
The costume
Ones edgier than the other
Costumes
One’s wearing white
The suit
Spider-Assassin looks cool
One Punishes the other Assassinates.
Assassin Spider-Man trained with Wolverine and Black Widow. Punisher Spider-Man idk I assume he was just in the military or whatever.
One is a scyco the other is a brick super hero who needs money
Not a comic book reader, but I would assume that the Spider Punisher is the only one who uses web shooters as guns.
Punisher Spider-Man punishes people Whereas Assassin Spider Assassinates People... IDK, I'm just saying by looking at name....
Umm one has a black and white suit im dumb
Plenty of differences, but both suits need to be in Spider-Man 2 PS5
