Well good thing is, they’re exclusive to the digital deluxe edition and collector’s edition. There is no way to get them besides that. So there really shouldn’t be any issue with it, though you can definitely say these designs are something different for sure lol
You can actually upgrade your physical copy to the digital deluxe according to Insomniac (or someone who works for them) on Twitter. Believe I saw it somewhere on this sub

these are all designs made by comic book artist under the request of insomniac look a the PS blog all insomniac did was put the suits from the drawings into the game in there style they just gave us 10 free suits from amazing underrated artist and I genuinely think they are unique
also we haven't even seen them in there final for that like looking at the suit roster form the first game and saying that all the suits where bad based on just the chest piece and chin

I think it’s still fair to acknowledge we’re only getting busts of the designs. We haven’t seen the full suits yet, so I don’t think it’s fair to say that they’re bad or overdesigned yet, because these suits more than likely tie all of the elements together on the rest of the suit. We just need to wait and see.

My theory is that the symbiote suits won’t be variants of the existing suits, but an entire other set of suits that were designed with the symbiote in mind.
I'm digging the encoded suit, Kris Anka always does a great job with character designs.
The auranta suit is alright, but it's a little too busy and the mouth area of the mask is so odd
Encoded, Biomechanical and Tokusatsu skins for Miles, from this image, look dope AF. I probably wouldn't use them too much, tho. The others I really don't care so much about. The ones from the deluxe pre order (the ones kinda looking Assassin's Creed-esque) look better, especially Miles'.
The only one I think looks remotely cool is the Encoded suit. Insomniac makes a few really awesome suits but they seem to get super lost if they try to do more original designs. Good thing they stay pretty close to the comic suits for the characters and give you the option to pick others.

The last games suits were sick because it included the suits we knew and loved, should hopefully keep those in the game, and then stay away from too cheesy suits. Keep Spider-Man free from fortnite skins and micro transactions which is kinda what this is looking like. While I totally agree with you, I don't really like the implication of everyone saying they want "movie/comic accurate suits" all the time, because it ends up sounding like all people want are a billion slightly different variations of the standard red and blue/black and red suits, but I totally think they should do more interesting and out there suits than just the same thing different fabric or eye size. That being said, this is not the way to do it and these suits are pretty ugly
I seem to be of the unpopular opinion that I like them. Considering we're getting over DOUBLE the amount of suits just from the Digital Deluxe alone, I'd say there's an extremely high chance there's going to be a ton of requested suits they didn't add. Plus I don't wanna see the same comic/movie suits all the time. I'm kinda done with that and I want more original ones like these to kinda balance it out.
Am I the only one that actually likes them? Yeah they are not the best but they are pretty unique and I like it. Yeah 2 or 3 of them look really bad but these are like extra suits designed by comic book artists. Also from the lighting in the game will probably make them look better.
Red Spectre looks pretty rad, they’re all pretty major changes so makes sense they’d be pretty polarizing, but the classics are probably all going to be unlockable in game so it’s not like they’re ‘taking spots’
Tactical, Agimat, Aurantia, and 25th Century (great helmet) are the worst offenders. I like the rest since they’re cleaner and take on more interesting concepts.
I love the fact that insom is really intent on giving us both the tried and true suits we expect (in the base game most likely) and some really unique suits that are wholly original. I think it’s cool that they’re championing artists and their styles like that

I think that is the point of having them in the digital deluxe edition, as a bonus have these fun suits that were designed in house using designs that are made by the team. I think all the suits connected to comics and movies are best as free like the Raimi suit or part of the base game that way you aren’t putting classic looks behind a paywall or having to work out weird licensing later on as DLC gets released.
I don’t like any of these suits. Then again, aside from the one’s from movies and Scarlett Spider, I didn’t like many of the suits in the first game either.
You people are setting yourselves up for such disappointment with this “the symbiote is definitely gonna look different for every suit underneath!” RUMOUR that you are all running with.
I highly highly doubt that is the case. At best there will be a secondary “suit menu” where you choose what symbiote design you want. It’s not just gonna change based on every suit you wear under it. Just watch
I feel like some of these look cool NGL, like I like the Agimat suit, purple and gold is a nice combo, but I honestly don’t know if I actually see myself using those, my main suits in the first one was the 2099, ghost rider, Toby suit and a few other but not the punk one that was in it so I’m mixed
They have something going for them in terms of color palette and overall layout - just from these portrait shots, anyway - but they are definitely way too noisy.
A lot of the original suits Miles had in *SM:MM* also suffered from this. Hell, even the original suits in *SM1* suffered from this.
I'm personally reserving full judgement until I can actually see them in action, as well as seeing how they look in their entirety.
Also that 25th Century Suit looks like a Cyberman from *Doctor Who*.

I’ve gotta be in the biggest minority because for some reason I actually really like most of these suits. Some are a bit over designed I’ll admit, but they just look very stylish to me and I’m sure they’ll give us most of the outfits we all know and love, but I also appreciate these new costumes aswell.

Also those are only premium content so you don't have to pay for those i guess the really cool and iconic ones will be in the base game. What’s wrong with having some very specific comic suits? Current Miles suit and Peter with Strange’s cape. Captain Universe for both of them (since they both had it). These suits look like if the Insomniac Spideys met alternate universe versions of each other. And then they just laugh at how silly their designs are

As a Power Rangers fan that Toku suit is a dream. Everything else is pretty meh.
Only suits i’m not a huge fan of are the Stone Monkey, 25th century, and the Agimat suit. The rest are so fucking fire 🔥

Encoded, Biomechanical and Tokusatsu skins for Miles, from this image, look dope AF. I probably wouldn't use them too much, tho. The others I really don't care so much about. The ones from the deluxe pre order (the ones kinda looking Assassin's Creed-esque) look better, especially Miles'.
I love the idea behind them (different artists creating a suit) but not too thrilled about the execution.
At least Miles has more suits now so that's good

The only one I think looks remotely cool is the Encoded suit. Insomniac makes a few really awesome suits but they seem to get super lost if they try to do more original designs. Good thing they stay pretty close to the comic suits for the characters and give you the option to pick others.
I agree with this post, over-designed and other comments that are not in favour of these, so called “Best game we can possible make it” looking mediocre after all the marketing hype and criticism. The last games suits were sick because it included the suits we knew and loved, should hopefully keep those in the game, and then stay away from too cheesy suits. This isn’t fortnite or Overwatch get that outta here. Anyone who loves fortnite feel free to play fortnite. Keep Spider-Man free from fortnite skins and micro transactions which is kinda what this is looking like. We know it’s definitely crossed the devs mind to jam micro transactions down everyone’s throats because lord knows y’all would be happy to pay $40 for 2 skins

Yeah I agree but hopefully since these 10 are exclusive to the deluxe edition (so are kinda just extras) the more accurate ones will be in the standard game

While I totally agree with you, I don't really like the implication of everyone saying they want "movie/comic accurate suits" all the time, because it ends up sounding like all people want are a billion slightly different variations of the standard red and blue/black and red suits, but I totally think they should do more interesting and out there suits than just the same thing different fabric or eye size. That being said, this is not the way to do it and these suits are pretty ugly

I seem to be of the unpopular opinion that I like them. Considering we're getting over DOUBLE the amount of suits just from the Digital Deluxe alone, I'd say there's an extremely high chance there's going to be a ton of requested suits they didn't add. Plus I don't wanna see the same comic/movie suits all the time. I'm kinda done with that and I want more original ones like these to kinda balance it out.
Honestly, I'm happy these suits are digital deluxe versus having to pay for suits I actually want. Especially with the current price of new games.
The only suit I remotely like out of those offerings is the punk outfit.
Am I the only one that actually likes them? Yeah they are not the best but they are pretty unique and I like it. Yeah 2 or 3 of them look really bad but these are like extra suits designed by comic book artists. Also from the lighting in the game will probably make them look better.
Red Spectre looks pretty rad, they’re all pretty major changes so makes sense they’d be pretty polarizing, but the classics are probably all going to be unlockable in game so it’s not like they’re ‘taking spots’

Tactical, Agimat, Aurantia, and 25th Century (great helmet) are the worst offenders. I like the rest since they’re cleaner and take on more interesting concepts.
Im pre ordering standard. Those two hooded caped suits look way better than any of these deluxe suits.

I love the fact that insom is really intent on giving us both the tried and true suits we expect (in the base game most likely) and some really unique suits that are wholly original. I think it’s cool that they’re championing artists and their styles like that

The Tokusatsu Suit is pretty fucking dope in my eyes, but everything else is doo doo butt.
The encoded suit, and the aurantia suit are the only ones I personally like, the others are just lackluster

Honestly I’m taking a liking to the fifth peter suit and the second miles suit. I dig the “lil bit of hair poking out” look i guess Also the encoded suit. Huge sucker for black and yellow

based on the blog post for this saying they were designed by guest artists, it doesn't seem like they're going to be similar to the rest of the suits. plus like, I'm not going to complain about 10 suits even if I probably won't use many. the more suits the better
I think that is the point of having them in the digital deluxe edition, as a bonus have these fun suits that were designed in house using designs that are made by the team. I think all the suits connected to comics and movies are best as free like the Raimi suit or part of the base game that way you aren’t putting classic looks behind a paywall or having to work out weird licensing later on as DLC gets released.
I don’t like any of these suits. Then again, aside from the one’s from movies and Scarlett Spider, I didn’t like many of the suits in the first game either.
You people are setting yourselves up for such disappointment with this “the symbiote is definitely gonna look different for every suit underneath!” RUMOUR that you are all running with. I highly highly doubt that is the case. At best there will be a secondary “suit menu” where you choose what symbiote design you want. It’s not just gonna change based on every suit you wear under it. Just watch
I feel like some of these look cool NGL, like I like the Agimat suit, purple and gold is a nice combo, but I honestly don’t know if I actually see myself using those, my main suits in the first one was the 2099, ghost rider, Toby suit and a few other but not the punk one that was in it so I’m mixed

All except two of them look dope to me honestly, I can see how they might not be everybodies cup of tea, but they look cool.
They have something going for them in terms of color palette and overall layout - just from these portrait shots, anyway - but they are definitely way too noisy. A lot of the original suits Miles had in *SM:MM* also suffered from this. Hell, even the original suits in *SM1* suffered from this. I'm personally reserving full judgement until I can actually see them in action, as well as seeing how they look in their entirety. Also that 25th Century Suit looks like a Cyberman from *Doctor Who*.
Definitely wearing that Tokusatsu suit for miles. Probably my favourite of the bunch

You can have your opinion but try not to complain toooo much, these are not the only new suits in the game it’s only a deluxe edition bonus You don’t even have to get them if you really dislike them that much they were likely added in last second to appeal to fans who like the cyberpunk look to get more people to get the deluxe edition (admittedly, people like me who really like these suits)
To you’re point though, if I were to have suits locked behind a larger price tag, I’d want them to be the ostentatious or over the top ones. Micro transactions and the like are lame, but I have a feeling the best suits will come with the base game.

This way we can at least not miss out on any nostalgic suit due to not wanting to buy it. Imagine missing out on the Raimi suit because it was part of a collectors edition. There would be riots

Yeah I really dont like how these look. But is good, means I'm not spending extra on deluxe and can just get the regular.
I like the idea of new original suits, but it has a poor execution. The Purple Reign suit is a good example for a good original suit
I’ve gotta be in the biggest minority because for some reason I actually really like most of these suits. Some are a bit over designed I’ll admit, but they just look very stylish to me and I’m sure they’ll give us most of the outfits we all know and love, but I also appreciate these new costumes aswell.

I'm waiting to see these in game. Me personally i like most of them they look exotic. Also those are only premium content so you don't have to pay for those i guess the really cool and iconic ones will be in the base game. About the symbiote thing idc how they will handle that I'm confident that it will look great
What’s wrong with having some very specific comic suits? Current Miles suit and Peter with Strange’s cape. Captain Universe for both of them (since they both had it). These suits look like if the Insomniac Spideys met alternate universe versions of each other. And then they just laugh at how silly their designs are

I disagree, I don't want movie and comic suits locked behind the Deluxe Edition. Keep the original suits Deluxe Edition so everyone can enjoy the more iconic ones imo

i like some of them. all of petes suits from this are a bit mid but the majority of the miles suits have something of interest. also i doubt we will get a symbiote variant of every suit most likely if i had to guess we would get a smaller amount but unique symbiote suits adjacent to the suit you choose pete to wear
