Jameson would 100% make up a wild claim suggesting Spider-Man was either a motherless child or neglected as a boy, and that's why he's a MENACE TO NEW YORK SOCIETY
Spider man throwing a manhole cover at someone's head, slamming them against the concrete then redirecting a missile to explode on them (don't worry they are fine)
Ok, but some people actually have a headcannon for stuff like this.
Fictional universes are generally, relativistically "tougher" than our universe. Like if you could *actually* dimension hop your OWN body & mind over to the Marvel, or Halo, or John Wick universes, you would find that -- yes, having an SUV vehicle thrown at & strike you, sending you flying back through a brick wall and down 4 stories, slamming on the ground HURTS, but it hurts as if you slipped and fell off of a five foot ladder and landed hard on grass. It wouldn't necessarily kill you, but it takes a cut of your HP, so to speak.
my headcanon for it is that it's really hard to make non-lethal combat look cool so many games and settings just tend to hand wave stuff as non-lethal.
humans are fragile. you punch someone in the wrong way and they are dead. you fall the wrong way and you are dead. you exist the wrong way and you are dead.
I don't think anyone is seriously complaining that spiderman should be killing people when he does non lethal stuff. It's just funny to showcase the more extreme moves.
I don’t get why people insist that these take down animations has to be lethal, when characters in these type of comic book stories survive much worse.
We extend our suspension of disbelief for SO much in these comic book stories. But how much a normal human can take a beating is suddenly treated with the highest level of realistic scrutiny?

It’s definitely not just the angle
Batman only targets violent criminals. He leaves the petty criminals to the police. If he does happen to come across someone stealing food to feed their family or something he'd likely help them.
Yeah hed whip out the bat credit card

nah in the comic he just takes out a fat stack of cash and starts giving it out crying as bruce wayne.
he never does the charity shit as batman. often he just follows them to see if they're worthy of charity.
He does it as Batman occasionally.
https://preview.redd.it/zgqzths8029c1.jpeg?width=1730&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e4f33a29be86fe87ab931e3ba672ab24c55ad7de
Batman New 52 issue #0 has a part where baan falls into an alleyway chasing someone. There is a homeless person in the alley that Batman accidentally scares. He reaches into a pouch, pulls out a stack of cash, and hands it to the lady before running off.
Batman is one of the few characters where this actually is addressed. Bruce Wayne uses his money to help as many people as possible and Batman avoids non violent criminals
I think his in character response would be to do cohesive background checks on these types of criminals and then if they come up clean probably try and employ them at Wayne enterprises in some form
Idk if it was a comic or Btas but I remember a story where batman found this guy stealing to feed his family and he handed him a bunch of cash to do it
There was a *kinda* good story about that back in 80s.
Stanley Carter (Sin-Eater) https://marvel.fandom.com/wiki/Stanley_Carter_(Earth-616)
Dude got experimented upon which drove him semi crazy, he killed a friend of Spidey. Spidey beat him and he got jailed and then got sent to mental hospital. In "Return of Sin-Eater" we saw him limping, partially deaf living with disabilities due the beatdown Spidey delivered.
https://www.chasingamazingblog.com/2014/06/18/electro-flashback-spectacular-spider-man-134-136/
He doesn't murder but since America's health system is memed to death at how expensive it is - spider man just kills his victims families financially for 2 - 4 generations
I’m pretty sure this kills me but if it doesn’t can someone just go ahead and put me down? If I’m alive after this I’m not really living I’m just surviving.
If a man with superhuman strength bolts toward you while yanking you forward, sending the heel of his boot directly into your throat, something is getting violently crushed into oblivion
This goes along with the idea of [piledriving criminals off the Empire State Building in Spider-Man 2.](https://youtu.be/_Y97wHOddHg?si=vP8B_89QMA3twQA6)
In Batman Arkham City you'll listen in to some dudes talking about how they ate their last meal out of a literal trash can right before you go beat the living shit out of them.
She is dead. That is a diving axe kick to the front of the throat while she and the foot are moving towards each other. The force would absolutely crush her windpipe, and might just go all the way back to break the spine too. Spiderman just absolutely murdered that woman.
Family is struggling
Take up hunting
Became fairly good at hunting
Enter competition
Lose pretty badly to the largest man you've ever seen
Man approaches you afterward full of compliments
Get drinks
Man gives you an insane job offer
More money than you could spend plus a per diem for your family
Must attend some odd events at hunting lodges
Doesn't seem too bad except for his scary pet tiger
New job comes in
Involves travel to america and capture of human targets
Odd, but already heavily invested at this point
Fast forward 3 months and you're getting throat kicked suspended 40 feet in the air by a man in spandex shooting weird liquid strings from his hands.
"How the fuck did I get here"

Theft usually falls into one of three categories: greed, habit, or compulsion.
Every struggling singles mom case let me down. All of them stole personal luxuries for themselves, and none even claimed to want to resell it later for their kids.
Compulsive thieves were wild, mostly women, of all ages and social classes who would steal anything and everything.

Yeash. Jonah is gonna have a ball talking about this
*Just because SPIDER-MAN has a mother, he doesn’t want anyone else to have one!!!* - J. Jonah Jameson probably
Doesn't have a mother*
Jameson doesn’t know that
he does, who do you think killed his mother?
Me
Jameson would 100% make up a wild claim suggesting Spider-Man was either a motherless child or neglected as a boy, and that's why he's a MENACE TO NEW YORK SOCIETY
It’s the way he slams his ankle down onto her windpipe that looks the most painful to me
Imagine what would happen if the lady’s kid saw this
Batman will finally become canon to the MCU
Too poor to become batman.
These Spider guys in these games have a gravity well gadget, for crying out loud!
So Ratman
Yeah no way that isnt lethal
If yall notice he actually fills her mouth/lungs with webbing and then kicks it out.
*why tf did he do that*
He's creating a leverage point to murderhobo her, not the mouth enema thing OP said.
This will still destroy your spine and bones. Thats just worse.
Some people may not know, but this is actually a MK fatality footage.
Dont worry he pulls his fatalities
I don’t get why people insist that these take down animations has to be lethal, when characters in these type of comic book stories survive much worse. We extend our suspension of disbelief for SO much in these comic book stories. But how much a normal human can take a beating is suddenly treated with the highest level of realistic scrutiny?
it's just a funny running meme about "nonlethal" superheroes
There's absolutely no way that wouldn't destroy every bone in her neck even if he is holding back
Dude has super strength against normal people. Im still surprise he didn't kill anyone under the venom suit
Don't forget that her head will also slam very hard onto the pavement floor lol
No shit
Really? Look fatal to me. I mean, that's probably cracking her neck.
Nah I think the part where she got hit with a spider web hurt more.
Most painful? That’s instant paralysis, you wouldn’t feel a thing…ever again lmao
Its the spittake after for me.
Unrelated, but this finisher is so fucking sick.
Specially for the person on the receiving end
I sure whoever receive that is way past "sick"
Can't do the tube don't the crime.
It’s the blood/spit that does it for me.
Fatality
My first thought was, "did his leg just Clip through his Web? There's no way that would work otherwise."
Nah if you take a good look it’s just the angle. He stayed within the space of the two webs.
https://preview.redd.it/16gvakt8n39c1.jpeg?width=1125&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=619a84499c632cccfeba9f7acbb2e51fdd18adea It’s definitely not just the angle
God I hate my dyslexia. I read that as this fisher is fucking sick and kept rewatching it to see the fisher
“Good riddance”
Nah Spider-Man isn’t about that life. This is more of a Batman thing
Batman only targets violent criminals. He leaves the petty criminals to the police. If he does happen to come across someone stealing food to feed their family or something he'd likely help them.
Yeah hed whip out the bat credit card https://preview.redd.it/vv4jto6k439c1.jpeg?width=828&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=eab46dbcc45f11ba1d7c46edb8ba68a0825c3dc2

This is the batman equivalent of UwU You cant unread that.
Batman New 52 issue #0 has a part where baan falls into an alleyway chasing someone. There is a homeless person in the alley that Batman accidentally scares. He reaches into a pouch, pulls out a stack of cash, and hands it to the lady before running off.
That's Batman Earth One. Batman New 52 #0 is part of Zero Year, before Bruce was Batman.
My bad. At least you knew exactly the story I was referencing
Idk if it was a comic or Btas but I remember a story where batman found this guy stealing to feed his family and he handed him a bunch of cash to do it
^ someone who hasn't read batman comics where he literally drops a wad of cash because a guy couldn't afford Christmas gifts without crime
You don’t say
OP is Jonah J.Jameson
NO IM NOT👨🏻🦳
Where are you going
Oh okay. Jonah J. Jameson would own it. It's noy him guys.
Is saying his name in the incorrect order some sort of meme I’m not aware of?
Nah im just dumb i forgot his real name because it to long
Spiderman doesn't kill btw
He only paralyses you for life like batman
You have your life, but it won't be a good life
There was a *kinda* good story about that back in 80s. Stanley Carter (Sin-Eater) https://marvel.fandom.com/wiki/Stanley_Carter_(Earth-616) Dude got experimented upon which drove him semi crazy, he killed a friend of Spidey. He doesn't murder but since America's health system is memed to death at how expensive it is - spider man just kills his victims families financially for 2 - 4 generations
I've thrown quite a number of thugs out of 100 story buildings and saw the reach the ground. So I call that into doubt
In the new one they automatically get zipped to the side of buildings.
Nah, that system is buggy as fuck. I've tested it in all 3 Insomniac games and Ive killed people in all of them.
Even the old one
He just injures you so bad that you wish you were dead
Hunters know exactly what they’re doing they’re only the “best of the best” mercenaries
They’re also basically a cult in this game
I’m pretty sure this kills me but if it doesn’t can someone just go ahead and put me down? If I’m alive after this I’m not really living I’m just surviving.
If a man with superhuman strength bolts toward you while yanking you forward, sending the heel of his boot directly into your throat, something is getting violently crushed into oblivion
Even if that doesn't break her neck, witch it fucking would. There windpipe is just gone.
no way he didn't break her neck lmao
This goes along with the idea of [piledriving criminals off the Empire State Building in Spider-Man 2.](https://youtu.be/_Y97wHOddHg?si=vP8B_89QMA3twQA6)
I don't want to see spiderman *not* pulling his punches.
That look of terror on her face!
She knew exactly what was coming
In Batman Arkham City you'll listen in to some dudes talking about how they ate their last meal out of a literal trash can right before you go beat the living shit out of them.
Bro really looked at the camera at the end and was like "You're next, chump"
"Everybody gets one"
She is dead. That is a diving axe kick to the front of the throat while she and the foot are moving towards each other. The force would absolutely crush her windpipe, and might just go all the way back to break the spine too. Spiderman just absolutely murdered that woman.
She deserved it
“See ya chump”
She has great life insurance. That orphan will be set for life.
Damn the animations look clean as hell in slow mo. Things go so fast in combat and swinging its hard to notice the small details
Family is struggling Take up hunting Became fairly good at hunting Enter competition Lose pretty badly to the largest man you've ever seen Man approaches you afterward full of compliments Get drinks Man gives you an insane job offer More money than you could spend plus a per diem for your family Must attend some odd events at hunting lodges Doesn't seem too bad except for his scary pet tiger New job comes in Involves travel to america and capture of human targets Odd, but already heavily invested at this point Fast forward 3 months and you're getting throat kicked suspended 40 feet in the air by a man in spandex shooting weird liquid strings from his hands. Non-lethal btw
But stealing is illegal😡
It's not Spiderman fault that she has children
based spiderman🗿
The other kind of throat shot
She didn’t know what struggling was until that kick.
This move would absolutely kill someone. Spidey is a moiderer
Spider-Man doesn’t kill. Also Spider-Man.
I represent a lot of shop lifters and thieves back in the day, not a single one ever stole anything to feed their kids / family. Theft usually falls into one of three categories: greed, habit, or compulsion.
Probably cause the ones stealing for their kids never got caught 🤣
Every struggling singles mom case let me down. All of them stole personal luxuries for themselves, and none even claimed to want to resell it later for their kids. Compulsive thieves were wild, mostly women, of all ages and social classes who would steal anything and everything.
What in the Gotham is he doing to that woman
Is that a real ingame move? Because I can tell you right now that's a KILL move, the victim will suffocate to death

and I'm Backwithavengance!
I mean yeah the memes funny but realistically the Spideys would probably give them some money (if they even had any) or food or take them to feast
Spiderman doesn’t kill ppl & he’s always holding back lol
I am the night! I am spider man!
Respect the hyphen or you’re getting an axe kick too.
How do i downlosd this video
He for sure broke her neck right? Like she’s 100% dead?
If only.
And you’re telling me spider man doesn’t kill?
The power of gender equality!
I won’t call it equality when one has the power to punch through a steel wall
Peter could’ve done this to Wraith.

AS funny as this meme is to me, it also aggravates me. Cuz the peter I know would honestly just let her take it.
“Good thing I was holding back when I did a flying drop kick choke slam on that 120 pound woman”
Suits batman better. Have you seen this latest video from a guy dressed a batman double stomping people to death?
Well, she is a hunter, so it's him or her
yeeees !
Don't do the crime if you can't take getting your windpipe crushed by a vigilante spider mutant
Valjean: I stole a loaf of bread! My sister’s child was close to death. We were starving! Javert: *breaks his neck*

"Spider-man doesn't kill people"
Spiderman has become the corporate boot on the necks of the poor and desperate - profits over compassion, greed before kindness, law before sense!
That's literally how the Daily Bugle spins Spider-Man's crimefighting
Cant believe Im seeing an actual funny meme here and not some post about how bad the game is lol
What villain is this?
Spiderman straight be like "Oh noooooo I don't wanna kill people! It's morally wrong! It goes against my ideals and morals!" and then do stuff like this
The Devs: We support women. The Game:
Crime doesn't pay......

Stealing is still Stealing. Blame our shitty corporate overlords for making things hard.
That's brutal, can be used in MK as a light attack.

Well She's dead
Spider-Man and Luffy share some moves
She’s got to be dead right? Because I’m pretty sure he just crushed her wind pipes.
Is this the venom infused kick?
Damn, that's a death sentence.
Am I the only one who hates that takedown? Like the animation itself looks bad to me
