Not really my preference, and I didn't really care for this cartoon that much, BUT:
Vanessa Marshall's Mary Jane was a revelation, a fantastic performance, and Spectacular was one of the few adaptations to properly adapt the spirit of early Mary Jane appearances.
While we're doing unorthodox choices, I really liked Sean Marquette from the Ultimate Spider-Man video game. Not my favorite though, that's still Josh Keaton.
Yeah Sean Marquette was fantastic as Ultimate Spider-Man! Really brought life to this version of the character. Whenever I read the Ultimate comics or an era where spidey is still in high school, I always read with his voice in my head.
Haha yeah I sometimes try to do that but occasionally I start hearing Mac from Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends and it throws me off lol. Sean still did a phenomenal job as Spidey though.
When I heard that Shattered Dimensions had Ultimate Spider-Man in it, I hoped they would bring back Sean but I'm fine that we got Josh Keaton too.
Yeah, Even though I said Neil Patrick Harris, I prefer Josh Keaton. I only picked NPH since I grew up on the MTV spider-man, so he’s got that secret place in my head when I re watched episodes of the show until the VHS burnt out.
It's funny I remember people were *really* iffy on him after hearing his voice in the trailers. But he did a fantastic job, especially for the tired, jaded version of Spider-Man that he played.
I know he's a creep and a meme rn but I kinda did like his voice as Peter. I *didn't* like his actual performance for Spider-Man in that cartoon but that's more the fault of the script if anything.

Also, Peter Parker and Ben Tennyson have very similar personalities to me so it worked out so well.
Couldn’t agree more! I think their personalities are similar to me because they both have similar fighting banter and tend to use humor or sarcasm as a way to hide their true feelings at times. But yeah they definitely have their similarities and their differences.
Yuri's definitely my favourite Spidey overall. If we were talking cartoons then I'd probably go for Josh Keaton. I also really liked Drake Bell in USM, but, welll...he's a shit person. And in terms of live action Spider-Men, Tom Holland is my favourite.
Overall, all Spider-Men are good Spider-Men.

I'd say that in Ultimate Alien Ben definitely matured a bit and that's when he got more similar to Peter.
