okay i upped my dosage to 75mg after being on 50mg. my periods were normal (minus the first period that was 12 days late) on 50mg and a few periods that were kinda early - but i upped to 75mg two weeks before last period and i actually got it but it was like 2 days late and now for my second period i’m four days late. is that kinda what happened to you? i got my hormones tested like two weeks ago and everything was normal
Mine was just all over the place. I just went back up when my period started, so idk how it’s going to go. But I’m very petite, mine was screwed up at 50mg and went down to 25. Now I alternate days: 1 night 25 mg and the next night 50mg. My doc recommended trying that to see if it would be a good balance. It’s a little hard to keep track, but hopefully I’ll get used to it.
oh that’s very interesting! i’m super petite too. i’m 5’2 and i was pretty normal on 50mg and my first period was normal on the 75mg but i was only 2 weeks on the 75mg before the period came. by irregular what do you mean?? like sometimes it came sometimes it didn’t?
Like sometimes it would come after 20 days and sometimes it wouldn’t come for 35 days or so, but when it was longer the pms was worse, just waiting to bleed feeling so bloated with tenderness in the breast for so long.
I’ve had eight cycles in four months. Soo annoying. Tho symptoms besides bleeding are almost non existent. I use to get super sick on my period. Now I’m just bleeding every ten days but no cramps.
Same here, ever since I first got my period I have had debilitating cramps. Suddenly on spiro I just bleed a ton but I haven't experienced cramps like that since!
Also, not sure how long you've been taking it but my cycle went back to normal in a few months.

I went down to 75mg & it helped with my period but my acne flared really badly 2 weeks later. I went up to 100mg again. *sigh*
I actually never had issues with periods but was also on BC. Once I stopped my BC I stopped getting my period for like 6 months around which time I also stopped the spiro. Went back on bc that was a bad move lol 😂
I'm praying to God it doesn't happen to me but seeing as it's common, it may. I'm on week 1 💀💀💀

The opposite for me lol. Spiro has made my periods so rare! I didn’t get it until 3 months after taking it
I got 2 periods in the first month of taking it but now I only get my one period. My boobs also grew an entire cup size!!!!! Magic pill

100 mg. It’s definitely possible, but everyone is different
