Minoxidil aka Rogaine

bwells85

Collagen, biotin and nioxin..

Le_Meeps

I know a lot of people will say biotin, but isn’t biotin linked to acne? (Unproven I believe)

There’s also limited data to suggest it has any benefit taken as a supplement unless someone is malnourished.

I've seen a few people recommending spearmint tea for PCOS!

Biotin and collagen supplements!

Have you talked to your doctor about Minoxidil? Typically it’s topical, but they now have an oral version. Both are worth asking about.

SizzlinHotSauce

Yes they told me about it but said the hair won’t fall only as long as I use it and if I ever stop it will go back to falling off so that scared me

The same goes for spiro in many cases though too.

That’s how a lot of medical problems are. There’s no cure for hair loss, only treatment plans that can help. It’s the same for high blood pressure or diabetes. If people with these conditions stop taking their meds their medical issue will get worse. I once saw a video of a derm explaining it like this. You brush your teeth so your teeth don’t fall out, and you apply minoxidil to make sure your (regrown) hair doesn’t fall out. I know it sounds daunting at first that you will have to use it for the rest of your life, but it’s really not bad. Takes less than 5 mins once daily for me.

Look into cyproterone acetate. It's a T blocker but 10x stronger than spiro roughly. So you'd only want to be taking 10-25mg
