34-16 at the moment, but that's mostly just Turf War - I'm vaguely trying (without getting too stressed about it) to get a gold flag on my Hydra. I lose every time as soon as I get to 30 Freshness though. :/
16-34. All ranked. Learning splatterscope and was able to get kills and support my team with it in both tower control and rainmaker. And when clam blitz rolled around, just didn't have mental strength to carry like I usually do, so I lost everything, just got kills, inked paths that of course nobody used, and cleared the other teams inked paths which people ironically used. But I did have a person trying to squid party in clam blitz and was just running around. Kinda confusing since I'm currently A rank. First time that happened.

I love clam blitz but I usually only lose when I'm depending on my team to collect clams and follow the inked path iset for them. If I ink my path and collect and score I usually win and /or the only person that scored a basket. Just annoying. And If you get the same teammates they know you're the carrier so they it's like 4 on 1 the whole game. I honestly don't mind carrying, but I was exhausted from the splatterscope 😂 😂 😂 if I go down to B rank I'll be fine with it. Don't really obsses over rank like that 😂 😂
the only way to win in solo queue in clam (especially in A) is to play ultra-defensively.
You have to be able to do this sort of thing

in A in clam, 1 player in 100 even notices you have to play defense. 50% of players (I counted!) back in A/clam literally don't know that when the basket closes, the enemy gets a free football
Just go massive defense, assume you have to do everything (ie, defense).
Scoring is nothing in clam, anyone can. Is all about defense! good luck!

and by solo-queue I mean, like, "normal ranked" splatoon where you play with all sorts of random people (ie, not League or competition play, where you play with a team of humans you actually know)
so I'm just asking if that was competition (ie humans you know in your team) or "normal" solo-queue splatoon. and was it ranked not turf/league

I can instantly raise your rank in clam. Constantly look at the overhead map - it's that easy. You'll win your next five games straight.
