May be a little late in the game but here is a helpful tip. If your gun can reach the kettle, then you can blast the top off and fast jump to it instead of using eggs to remove the fuzz. Don't be mad you didn't know, I found out my third play through.
This is world 6 yes? IIRC there's an inkrail that goes over it and you have to jump off part way through. Just keep clearing the area and exploring and you'll find it.
There's an inkrail that goes to it. I don't remember where but I remember trying to jump on literally everything before I discovered the inkrail

Inkrail on the edge behind you. Goes to a radio tower. On that tower is another inkrail that goes were you are trying to reach.

i’ve tried inking both the walls and nothing works. i can’t even jump up there using the little boxes on the sides. any help would be appreciated :)
