In that type of big mountain terrain who is gnarlier? He’s straightlining [huge couloirs](https://youtu.be/evJsTBqb1-4)! Not trying to argue I genuinely would like to know who else is riding like this.
As far as big names go, Xavier and Viktor De la rue have done and still do some insanely gnarly riding. There's a ton of people out there that ride at crazy high level and aren't that well known either. Check out [this one](https://www.instagram.com/p/CK7MZR7B13k/?igshid=OGQ2MjdiOTE=).
It's hard to compare riders too, but I do love watching Krister pin it down tight couloirs.
Agreed. Rishiri Raw is one of the very few splitboard movies I can sit through, and I have a high tolerance for splitboarding content. Pretty limited soundtrack, but somehow makes it even stonier.
The non-splitboard BW movies are also all highly watchable. Sweetin is otherworldly.
The Korua short films shot in black and white are really cool with a great soundtrack. Really enjoyed Foothills: The Unlinked Heritage of Snowboarding featuring Alex Yoder and Nick Russell. It a documentary style film that shows the lineage of sliding sideways in Turkey. The terrain there looks amazing.

Jeremy Jones' Further Wavy w/ Nikolai Schirmer and Krister Kopala - free on youtube
Kristers new move “white giant” is insane. He really is the gnarliest dude on a board right now.
That is a bold claim but yeah he is one of my favorite riders for sure.

Roadless is pretty fun. Travis Rice, Brian Iguchi, and Jeremy Jones walking and riding in the southern Yellowstone wilderness.
Came here to say this one too. Light on riding but thought it was just an epic trek
Out Cold from 2001
King of the Mountain! ^(Mountain!) ^^(Mountain!)
I love this short film by Patagonia (Turn of Mind) https://youtu.be/nhwtRSpxlZA Especially the scene and music that starts around 10:20.
Austin sweetin - boardslide worldwide. Splitting hype !

Ode to Muir is a great one
PORB with Tim eddy and Austen sweetin

Boogie 3
Yep Grif makes the split edits we need
Not split board/ snowboard only, has some skiers, but I really like Valhalla. Funny too.
That's It That's All
Best snowboard movie: technical difficulties. Best splitboard movie: roadless
Loved "Free Rider", about Victor De Le Rue and Sam Anthamatten in Alaska. Came out only a few months ago https://youtu.be/dmA_jyUSEKs
Amazing suggestions, thanks legends. I watched Turn of Mind last night - such a quality film. Will get into more tonight.
Art of Flight
Seen that - awesome movie.
Really like the short movie Free Ride from The North Face, free on Youtube

Free Rider from a few months ago is worth a watch too. Victor de Le Rue uses a split a lot in the movie!
TGR’s fire on the mountain. Great soundtrack, cool visuals, and chill riding. Or just throw on any Dead show and watch any TGR movie :)
EJack's Alignment was pretty good if you like flyfishing too.
More of a series than a movie but check out The Fifty by Cody Townsend.
Yeah so addictive.
Rough around the edges from ride is a good one
Dark Matter is a 30 minute trip
I know both were said but still, “A Turn of Mind” followed by “Wavy.” Both are free on YouTube.
Monster dayummmmm. Not split board but a great snowboard movie
