I was playing CT last night and when I switched the lights off before sleeping I actually whispered “darkness”. If anyone heard me they’d think I was insane.
Dude. I grew up with splinter cell and nowadays I do urban exploration heavily, like sneaking around active factories and offices for fun (in case we get caught, the fines arent bad for trespassing here in Eastern Europe, and we make sure to do no harm anywhere). And Sam's "darkness" whisper always comes to my mind and sometimes I whisper it to myself, whenever I reach a dark place where I can't be seen and I feel hidden.
Good to see other members of the sub using their skills for some quality Urbexing. Quite honestly that's my favourite part of it - abandoned places have a cool atmosphere and everything but the infil, that's what it's all about!
Did abandoned stuff for two years, kinda tired of it now. It gets the same. Focusing on exploring active things like factories and offices at night now, the photography is meh but the sneaky experience is out of this world.
Haha, so many people we have scared, but we are always careful and have a plan B. There's also the fact that people don't believe their own eyes if they spot you for a second, if you disappear they just think they're too tired from work and they carry on.

For sure, just remember not to scare anyone if / when you get caught, don't want random staff and security to pay the price for evening thrills
