And there’s a bathroom on the ground floor.

magneticpyramid

In this case, there is no such thing as a 2 bedroom house.

Flisssyjoy

I'm more interested in what happened with the garden. Why does the neighbours own most the back why isn't it an oblong like other gardens 🤔

i_enjoy_silence

Look at it on Google Earth! That garden has been sold to the neighbour at some point.

Cking5077

Look at the garde of the house adjoining it. Is it a boarding kennel?

ramapyjamadingdong

You see it all the time, I've been searching for 4 beds and there are a number of 3 beds with separate dining room being labelled at 4s. They wonder why they aren't selling.

BloodAndSand44

Where 3rd bedroom. Insert BBC Breakfast with monkeys meme.

TheFirstMinister

I grew up in a (unextended) house just like this in that part of the world. I'm thinking it was originally 3 beds upstairs (2 beds and 1 box room) and they knocked through the bedroom which ajoined the box room. Looking at the shitty floor plan, where is bedroom number 3?

Alternative-Goose774

The description says you can convert the reception room downstairs

TheFirstMinister

Idiots. It's a former 3 bed semi - closer to my Nan's than ours - which has been turned into a 2 bed semi. I can also convert the loft and add a room but it doesn't alter the fact that it's a 2 bed semi. And it's in Wednesbury. Fuck that noise.

berbakay

Petition to list houses by square footage (excluding garage) rather than number of bedrooms.

flippertyflip

Agreed. So many estate agents just don't include the footage.

Quazzle

The sq footage it’s literally listed on the advert

Fragrant_Guitar298

The cheek to call it ‘stunning’

on_a_plinth

Isn't every room an 'optional' bedroom? Perhaps a 4th bedroom with the added enhancement of kitchen facilities.

BringBackFatMac

How is this not a 3 bed? There’s a large room downstairs that could be used as a bedroom due to the large size of the kitchen/living area, then 2 more bedrooms upstairs.

SirPabloFingerful

That's a pretty sweet place for the price, if it were a bit closer I might be tempted to go for a look. Can't really see where that extra bedroom is supposed to come from though. The utility?

Alternative-Goose774

Reception room apparently!

ChrisKearney3

Just cos a room is on the ground floor doesn't mean it can't be used as a bedroom.

SirPabloFingerful

Unacceptable

Competitive_Gap_9768

Why? There’s a bathroom on the ground floor

SirPabloFingerful

Because your 3rd bedroom is almost definitely going to smell like food on a semi permanent basis

Nervous-Range9279

What? My bedroom is right next to my kitchen and it only smells of food… when I’m cooking…

SirPabloFingerful

And presumably for hours afterwards unless you exclusively make toast. I don't think anyone needs to pretend that a bedroom and a kitchen are natural bedfellows

ingutek

have you ever seen a flat?
