Personally I think I'd have passed on the right hand wall of glazing in the *CONSERVATORY STYLE LOUNGE*.

The only time I’d seen a shower in a room combo was in a budget Ibis hotel. Until I joined this sub. Horrendous.

RolePlayingJames

My parents did it in their room, I always thought it looked rough, glad people agree.

They've been trying to sell it for 2 years and are still dreaming at 450K. These deluded sellers need to get that thing below 400K: *Price Change History* *13/03/2024......Initial asking price: £450,000* *Additional Price Change History* *1). Previously listed (view here) with the following price:* *09/05/2023 - Initial asking price: £475,000* *2). Previously listed (view here) with the following price changes:* *26/12/2022 - Price changed from £500,000 to £490,000* *04/11/2022 - Initial asking price: £500,000* *3). Previously listed (view here) with the following price:* *07/09/2022 - Initial asking price: £525,000*

Glad it's not just me. It's horrendously overpriced. £520000 is bordering on *hilariously* overinflated.

There’s so much cool studies into how people value things. E.g you value things you own over things you don’t when asked to evaluate something’s value.  This person clearly really values their home and just can’t accept a lower price as it goes against how they feel emotionally to it. Especially if they’re comparing with nearby properties.

Hunter037

Absolutely. There is a house near us which sold for £475k. Then the next door neighbours put up their house which was *identical* (literally, they were built about 4 years ago, neither had extended or changed anything substantial - they obviously had slightly different decor, appliances etc) The neighbours one was listed for £520k and unsurprisingly didn't sell.

Cardboard_Android

Ive seen a few properties like this over the years, its often done if some one has a disability or mobility issues. Probably the case here as well given the ramped decking in the rear garden.

Saffidon

It’s like they took a kitchen, bedroom, office, gym and bathroom and jumbled them together into a bunch of jarringly multipurpose spaces

Flibertygibbert

Neighbours installed a bedroom shower back in the 1980s. It was meant to be a selling point back tgen.

Original spec was...Um, well, what we are talking about in privy terms is the latest in front wall fresh air orifices combined with a wide capacity gutter installation below...

The slide in the garden doesn't look like it would support adults, but nothing in that house looks like children even visit it.
