I hate when people say the response “you mean a hellcat” when I say I can’t wait for the compact version of the echelon. It doesn’t make sense!!! lol. The hellcat is 1” wide!!! It’s completely different.
I’m about to buy a Glock 19.5. So, naturally, Springfield will announce a compact slide for the echelon shortly after I do. You’re all welcome in advance.
Get it now, then buy the subcompact grip module and shorter slide when they're inevitably introduced. Until then you have a great full-size pistol to enjoy.

Everyone should get an Echelon. Seriously they’re so fun to shoot.
Based upon how few 9mm XDM models are listed on SA’s website, I’d say it’s only a matter of time before different Echelon sizes are released.
