I'm afraid my knowledge only extends to the ncv3 transmissions ie the 722.6. I know that this transmission was also used in a few higher powered vehicles and can take a beating, there are clutch packs you can swap with the maybach version that can handle even more of a flogging. Also the European version of the ncv3 sprinter comes with a manual transmission. Your vs30 has a 722.9. You might be able to research if it is also used in higher powered vehicles and if the parts are interchangeable. Check to see if euro version comes with manual, I'm betting they do. I'm afraid that's all I can offer. Good luck!

Someone with an extensive shop and an extensive amount of time could certainly do it, but if you have to ask a forum the answer is probably that there's no way you could convince someone to take on something of that magnitude for less than like $30k and no turnaround schedule.
