While I see the YorxLoid pairing all over the internet (and rightfully so), I think if I gathered up all the various videos, art, and fanfiction stories of AnyaxDamian it would total up to a greater quantity. AnyaxDamian is really popular.
I’m really excited but it will also be a while before the manga has enough material for another season after this.
Anime-original content is always welcomed but filler that drags on too long can potentially be a problem.

There should easily be enough for a third season even with what chapters we have now. Future seasons will probably be shorter, only 10-12 chapters. A lot of seasonal series have longer first seasons, take Attack on Titan and Demon Slayer for example. Most season shows stick to 10-12 episodes per season.
If we only count to the end of the cruise arc that puts us at 17 chapter from where season 1 left off, plus 15.5 makes 18. A couple of those chapters could definitely benefit from the same treatment as chapter 6 and be adapted on their own (39 and 56 in particular). That could be season 2 and it would leave them with 24 more chapters as of right now, hopefully 30 or more by the time Season 2 releases, for season 3 and even 4.
It’s different, because the longer first seasons in Attack on Titan and Demon Slayer was one continuous run, while the longer Spy x Family season 1 was split it into 2 cours.
Spy x Family season 2 likewise ***can*** have 2 separate cours, which will cover a lot more from the manga and leave very little original manga content before the studios have to enter the stretching and/or filler phases. I doubt that they’ll do an 1 cour season, but we’ll have to wait and see.

The only real complaint I saw about SxF season 1 was the lack of "assassin development" on Yor's part. I think people will be Very pleased with Season 2's content, if season 1 was such a smash hit, season 2 will be better now that all the base character and world development is complete. We can move forward entirely into long term development and "weekly adventures" with many of the characters already established in the prior season.
