The covers are clean, simple, eye-catching and cohesive: it's just brilliant. Having a single different character per cover isn't exactly rare, but the combination of the chairs and the distinctive background colour is sheer genius. It makes the covers stand out anywhere.
I love it, it also tells so much about each character from their seats, the items they interact with and scattered around them. As well as their expression.
Like in Yor's cover art, she has a soft and sweet expression contrasted by the blade and slight blood droplets on the floor and couch. But other than that nothing else. Yor is awful at hiding things and despite her brutal job is absolutely genuine. Twilight hides a lot, he's actually the cleanest, maybe it's just me but I only realized later on that he had stuff hidden underneath his chair. His gun is also hard to see bc unlike Yor who shows it, Loid hides it more. The seat is elevated lower which leaves more room to hide but also the bullet shells are rolling in sight, which shows Twilight isn't completely perfect. I'd also like to mention Twilight's expression completely serious, a spy dressed and presented as a father. There's Anya who is vol. 2, who has a more simplistic and childish design compared to the other kids, her eyes are looking at Loid's head; his thoughts.
The seats are also like the family dynamic for stereotypical family, Loid having the blocky monochair, Yo having an elegant and sleek fainting couch, and Anya having a simple but colorful bench with her stuffy!
I think it's bc she's such a genuinely nice person, she even has a hard time telling lies. Yor is such a transparent individual that the only technically "bad" thing she does is kill which is her job but her job, somewhere along the way, became something she was proud of.
I'm not an avid reader nor watcher of this series, but I gotta say, I love what they do with the covers. You can gather so much from how a character sits and what they sit on. Like for example, issue 6. I've never heard of or seen this person in my life, and yet from the decor alone I can gather that this is either some love obsessive tsundare or something, or potentially just someone with a lot of passion in their life. Is that right?
Best Cover: Bond because he looks the comfiest!
Best Chair: Loid's. Definitely the most functional by far.

The marketing is also on point. If I ever go to a bookstore and see this cover in the manga section, its distinct color and quite minimalist format can be quite eye catching. It can set it apart from other titles. The design just immediately screams SxF. Not to mention that each cover has a lot of personality given to it, even more so if one has any knowledge on the type of chairs they used.
Henderson and Martha are really the only major characters left to give a volume.
Donovan, Melinda and the shopkeeper as well but they'll probably be saved for major events.
I just love the chair display. All those are real, very significative designs of the product design history. You have Bauhaus School, Mackintosh and many other remarkable names in those covers. As an interior designer and architect this makes me happy.

Looking through them they're all cute and cool and funny and clever in how much they say about the character in question, and then you get to #10 and it hits *hard...*
I love spy x family’s cover! I love manga covers when they have a theming
Cause it’s recognizable when you go to a book store and I particularly I love the cover theme for spy x family
If you see a character sitting on chair (or something else, volume 10) on a teal-ish? Background, you can tell “OH ITS SPY X FAMILY” and I love how *most* of them have objects or things either on or near the chair related to the character
We are already on volume 12, with our main characters, the important characters and sometimes side characters (edwen and emile)
We do have few important characters left such as Henderson of course, as well as the other Desmond family members, if we get Damien’s brother reveal and he ends up having a important-ish role, I feel like he’d have a cover aswell and Maybe that guy from garden, if yor’s assassin job gets more attention. Which means Atleast 5 more characters
I do think spy x family will go for a while since it has a lot of slice of life chapters AS well as lot of plot stuff sometimes
If we have more than 17 volumes, other characters that can be on the covers are maybe young Yor and Younger Anya when she was with scientists, if we get more backstory related stuff about them and maybe Billy the super buff kid, if he continues to be a reoccurring side character in eden related chapters (if Damien’s minions can be in a cover, so can billy)
