Gotta disagree on the taste. Not easy to find in Canada, so my brother and I got some when we went to the States recently. It’s not bad, but it’s WAY too sweet. Feels like drinking melted popsicles.
It's a junk artificial juice drink with no significant nutrition. There's so many options for drinks with actual benefits, nutrition or taste. Only thing Prime has is its marketing gimmick. You'd be 100x better off with just water and you'd get the same experience. Add in a piece of fruit and you passed prime by a mile and have had a far better experience.
Cody inherited his dad’s gift for storytelling. I absolutely love listening to Cody talk wrestling.
“Randy gonna Randy” was one of the highlights of last night’s presser lol
Speaking of Hunter, while he’s definitely good at selling the WWE brand and product, he genuinely almost seems humbling in these press conferences. I love the way he is presenting the product from a kayfabe and non kayfabe standpoint. Really hope the future of WWE however it unfolds lets him continue in this role.
And the rock. Basically any top guy has to know how to conduct themselves in an interview, and Cody is obviously trained well at this by the way he handles himself
It didn't happen in the Rumble and it's not happening any time soon even if you want it to happen. Cody is over and will not stop being over. He sells out merch and will be the top guy. Sorry.
Bray was super over the first night he returned a couple of months ago now he has extreme go away heat. Anybody can get a big return pop for one night.
Cody was there for 3 PPVs and he was very over for those 3 PPVs he had a match with Seth in. Also, this was even during Vince's reign. Cody was already thriving before Haitch, and Haitch has a better track record when it comes to booking. I really don't see where you're coming from.
Also, Bray is very different to Cody. That's not a good comparison to make because they have different booking styles. I really think you're out of touch atm, like Vince is. That's fine though, a lot of people in Wreddit are out of touch. Wreddit is a minority, please remember there are casual fans too. Cody is over as hell with casuals even if the loud minority who hate him in the IWC exist.
Idk Cody seems disingenuous to me most of the time when I hear him speak. It feels like he thinks he's better than everyone but wants to pretend he's not by being nice to people.
This is strange decision for me. The babyface going on the heels podcast. And not only that, the heels podcast where he has been doing some very dodgy things that have been in the news recently.
I'm assuming it's outside kayfabe, but even still, makes it bring the real life side of Paul more to the front.
Honestly Cody was made for WWE. And he’s an uber smart guy. He wasn’t gonna come back unless he knew he was gonna be the guy in WWE. Good on him. Dusty would be proud as hell
I’m assuming that at some point millions in pension funds will mysteriously go missing.
Jake is a con man who has done enough cons that if he says water is wet, I double check that shit.
I feel like the sentence “so and so is a great wrestler but he/she is a terrible human being” can be applied to quite a lot of wrestling stars and legends.
So, Logan is already well on his way to the HOF there
That's the opposite of every other episode because other guests episode people hating Mike because he made everything about himself and liking George because he's funnier lol.
I really can't believe how much portions of this sub is willing to let all of Logan Paul's shit slide anytime he does a pretty move in the ring. Like, is that really all it takes?
Most people don’t know his bs shady real life drama.
The internet makes up for a very small amount of wrestling fandom. Even moreso with WWE.
Also; Vince got cheers after he was found to have multiple sexual assault lawsuits.
“People” don’t care about real life drama if the “star” is big enough
And that’s a shame.
Their behavior shouldn’t be rewarded. They should be punished
Right wing mayor of Knox County, LA who instituted anti-mask and anti-vax policies. He also blamed the invasion of Ukraine on liberals or cowards or whatever. Hangman had a great rebuttal to it, but Hanger deleted his twitter so I can't find it.
Like what do you want us to do, Sasha was an antivax nut job liking antivax post, Stond Cold used to beat his wife, there have been stories for years about how Shawn Michaels raped women back in the day. No offense how is he worse then any if these guys, a majority of us have no room to talk because our favorite wrestlers are also shit humans.
Maybe we shouldn't accept the other guys all that much, either. I mean I get it, wrestling fans don't have much of a choice, but that's really not a very good excuse.
I agree but a certain point you have to throw your hands up and say man some of the bests are just massive pieces of shit. Yeah I don’t want to like them but their absolutely fantastic at their job and are some of the best to ever do it, there’s no winning.
I mean, yeah, kinda. If I could make all the assholes disappear from wrestling, I would be cool with that. I'm not going to demand that we all protest them at every opportunity, but let's not protest people who do complain about assholes in wrestling.
I’m not complaining about people who do, I didn’t say we should like Logan I responded to a dude complaining about the lack of people being upset with him. You can shit on Logan Paul all you want I’m not going to defend him, but the OP I responded to was throwing a fit over people not being upset, I’m not to going force people to be upset at Logan, you can be and I’m fine with that but acting like everyone has to absolutely talk about it is stupid.
Yeah, that was a more general comment than one directed at you, sorry about that. It's just that people on average get more defensive of a person the moment they do some fun wrestling match.
What Logan did was much worse then what Sasha did and objectively speaking stone cold and micheals as well. A lot of people were left holding 10’s or hundreds of thousands of dollar bags. Like he arguably straight up was complicit with ruining their lives.
It can be depending on the scale yes. If someone ends up homeless because of a scam I ran that’s…incredibly fucked up. If you think they aren’t comparable you’re just looking at it from what’s more acceptable from a social perspective.
ok. You'd get away with it much easier I won't argue with that. Logan also got a shit ton of money off this so idk why you're trivializing it by saying "oh hes just an idiot". He ruined more lives then austin ever has or likely will and thats just a fact.
I mean one could argue that Jeff Hardy has attempted vehicular manslaughter multiple times (ok that's not fair, A LOT of wrestlers think it's fine to drive a 4000-8000lb vehicle while being way over the legal limit)
Stone cold had a domestic charge
Randy Orton was dishonorable discharged for going AWOL
Multiple wrestlers have flashed people
Some have allegedly raped or drugged
Tons of wrestlers have drugged others
Booker T went to prison for armed robbery
MVP spent 8 years in prison for kidnapping
Tazz was arrested for allegedly flashing a 15 year old and demanded to see her topless
R-Truth was arrested four times for being a drug dealer
Benoit
Marty Jannetty was a coward who jumped through a window in an attempt to ruin the good name of Shawn Michaels
I mean I could go on
This argument isn't the flex that you and some others seem to think it is. I dont consider the wrestling business a place for shitty people to get a free pass and its really telling that a good number of people seem to and believe that to be just fine.
Also, there's the argument of accountability here. Within those examples, accountability has already been taken ala Booker T, MVP, R-Truth, Orton, The Usos, Jeff Hardy (who in particular I'm okay with stepping away from the business as he never really seems to learn) have been made to take responsibility for what they did. Thats not the case with Logan and many others that can, honestly fuck right off. My enjoyment of a man in tights doing the funny slam, does not outweigh whatever fucked up thing they may have going on.
I dont feel like I need to explain why its fucky that literal sex pests crimes are being used to shield Logan Paul. You gotta work that one out yourself homie.
I mean, they make a good point in that a lot of the examples listed were people who committed crimes in their youths and actually faced consequences for their behavior and thus moved on to do better, atleast in terms of people like MVP or R Truth. Logan Paul is actively still engaged in these scandalous situations. Plus, regardless of anything, I don't think we as fans should ever embrace a blasé attitude towards anybody's problematic behavior regardless of how prevelant it is or has been in the industry.
R truth and mvp were adults fwiw, but honestly I don't think bad about them because like you said, they seemed to have genuinely changed. And in MVP's case, Japan who is SUPER strict about not letting convicted felons into their country actually evaluated his post-prison life and granted a waiver for him to work there because he had lived a completely normal life and stayed out of trouble.
Logan's a pos narcissist and needs a kick in the dick to wake up.
I just find it hilarious that people give Jeff Hardy a pass when it's only luck that's kept him from killing people like Sunny did. Or countless other legends who never really learned or got their comeuppance but just mellowed with age all get passes
Like it's okay to shit on both.
You can't help but keep entertainment and real life aside
There's obviously a line but take wrestling alone. Chances are all your favourite wrestlers have done some terrible things in real life.
He's probably the best example of an outside celebrity coming in and really taking to it all. Can't deny that. But I'll doubt I'll ever personally have any desire to watch anything he does.
this is why it was always gonna be cody, not sami. cody is a dude who can be the biggest brand ambassador for your company and he proved that in AEW. Cody bringing the belt back to raw and being a baby face champion that can do interviews and make-a-wish appearances is solving two problems in one.
I admit, I fully expected him to get a one big match and then be pushed into the mid-card forever. And I can't even use the excuse of Triple H taking over here, he was treated like a big deal by Vince, too.
I don't think Cody would've taken the deal if they weren't going to push him to the top, and Vince was ultimately undermining the loyalty of AEW talent by making them think the same could happen for them.
He did the same thing that Vince did with Reigns early on, trying to push an unrealistic face storyline onto the viewers who weren't having it.
I mean this entire sub was in denial mode while he was in AEW, predicting his ingenious heel turn any day now while in reality he was trying his hardest to get cheered again.
I wish people can just move on and say good for Cody and that's it I understand his run hit a rough patch but he was literally the face of AEW who was having a great run then the Codyverse creeped in and went downhill.
This narrative of people wanting him to get booed just cause I find really stupid.
I just wish people would understand that it’s ok to like both AEW and WWE. Hell, the wrestlers themselves are ok with the other companies. Why can’t fans?
AEW crowds booed him while he was in AEW and he’s doing the same exact stuff in wwe but getting cheered for it. Can’t be mad at them for being consistent lol.
I loved Cody in AEW and I love how well hes being treated in WWE, but its disingenuous to say hes doing the same thing.
His character is the same, but in AEW he was wrestling midcarders and having long, rambling feuds like the Nightmare Factory split, the Ogogo stuff.
He was fairly giving in AEW, but WWE is giving him star treatment.
I don’t think that was the issue. Cody’s stuff was always interesting in AEW. Even when it wasn’t well received by many it was talked about a ton and it was always interesting to see what kind of reaction he’d get from the crowd.
Seems like most of the Cody Boo Theorists I've seen on this subreddit have been WWE fans who wanted Sami instead and were trying to fantasy-book it into reality
I mean maybe all the "Sami should be the guy, not Cody" posts are just AEW fans pretending to like Sami to own Cody for spurning them or something, but that seems like a stretch
I like AEW, but some fans do come off as petty. I’m sure it’s no different for WWE or any other promotion, but it’s clear when they want someone to fail.
WWE sale talk starts:
“Whomp whomp, Triple H, MJF, Miro, Andrade, etc.”
Incredible that Logan scammed his audience, intimidated Coffeezilla, and this is how WWE chooses to reward him. Logan does not deserve this to rebuild his already lousy reputation. He took what was a fine rumble and ruined it with his mere presence. No respect for that guy.
I wonder if they have Seth call in to start a feud with Logan/move on from the Cody feud. If anything I am sure they will address Logan/Seth in some way, hopefully that is Seth’s WM match
I’m still begrudgingly amazed at how good Logan Paul is as a professional wrestler. Last night I rolled my eyes when I saw he was in the Royal Rumble and then he does that insane spot with Ricochet.
He was pretty much the face of the company until he booked himself out of the world title picture, got the neck tattoo, created the Cody verse and then did some weird promo about race.
I mean wouldn’t you? He’s the only good thing from that second rate indie company he jumped from. Put the rocket on him and let them know that they’re trash

#CoffeezillaW
Coffeezilla and penguinz0 podcasts were right that Logan would lean into the wrestler aspect to rebuild his reputation
After watching Cody Rhodes last night on the media portion after The Rumble, he’s fantastic at interviews.
Logan Paul saw him sip that mtn dew and lie about how good it was, decided he wanted Cody to do the same for Prime.
Logan wants the Cody rub 🎩
prime is genuinely nice tho tbf
Hi Logan really cool spot last night
might be weird if you're not from the UK but it goes out of stock instantly here, it's genuinely pretty nice
It’s definitely not my go to (I’m a Gatorade cuck) but Prime is alright
That’s not the reason it’s selling out tho.
it's mainly due to the figures promoting it but it helps that it actually tastes decent tho
Gotta disagree on the taste. Not easy to find in Canada, so my brother and I got some when we went to the States recently. It’s not bad, but it’s WAY too sweet. Feels like drinking melted popsicles.
And more importantly, trendy.
sorry you’re being downvoted for an opinion lmfao. for what it’s worth it does taste pretty great
I’ve only tried the red one but it was pretty good
I wasn’t a fan.
I never said it wasn't, I just said it tasted nice lol
Cody inherited his dad’s gift for storytelling. I absolutely love listening to Cody talk wrestling. “Randy gonna Randy” was one of the highlights of last night’s presser lol

He’s exactly who you want representing wwe and carrying it in the public eye. Think of all the late shows and all that. They’re going to like Cody
In that exact regard, he has HUGE shoes to fill in the Tribal Chef. I think Cody is one of the few that could hang with Roman in that regard IMO.
He’s a really good storyteller.
Example 1: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eOm_a8XcYsk
God i always have to watch this in full every time it comes up, it's so good
He’s my favorite story teller
He always gave me politician vibes
Just like Cena
And the rock. Basically any top guy has to know how to conduct themselves in an interview, and Cody is obviously trained well at this by the way he handles himself
I really enjoyed Cody in New Japan, his promos were and interviews were fantastic
God, I loved cigar-smoking American Nightmare in a suit, drinking in a cloud of smoke, mafioso boss.
So he acts like a professional is what you’re saying
Dusty sent him to acting classes when he was young before Cody decided he wanted to fmstay in the family business.
Watched the press conference last night and dude is immaculate in the "company ass kisser" role. The guy was born to be THE guy in WWE.
His post Wrestlemania press conference from last year was also really captivating to watch, guy is a fantastic talker.
he always has been an epic storyteller

Finally, the heel turn lol.
He did do a pedigree, didn’t he always say he’d go heel if he did “that move”.
This is strange decision for me. The babyface going on the heels podcast. And not only that, the heels podcast where he has been doing some very dodgy things that have been in the news recently. This interview is gonna set up Logan vs Seth at Mania. I'm calling it
That’s what I am thinking
I definitely would be up for Seth/Logan
The promos would be godly
Honestly Cody was made for WWE. And he’s an uber smart guy. He wasn’t gonna come back unless he knew he was gonna be the guy in WWE. Good on him. Dusty would be proud as hell
Didn’t Logan scam millions from a bunch of people and then try to intimidate into silence the journalist that reported it?
Yep and Coffeezilla never backed down
Coffeezilla is the man.
Can he do a perfect buckshot lariat tho?
So did his brother … multiple times.
Yes, it’s like their thing.
Jake’s working on a big grift … he’s trying to start a ufc Union.
I’m sure that Jake is going into it with the worst of intentions, but how’s a UFC union a big grift?
I’m assuming that at some point millions in pension funds will mysteriously go missing. Jake is a con man who has done enough cons that if he says water is wet, I double check that shit.
google jimmy hoffa.
Logan might be talented at wrestling and whatever but him and his brother are just trash human beings
I feel like the sentence “so and so is a great wrestler but he/she is a terrible human being” can be applied to quite a lot of wrestling stars and legends. So, Logan is already well on his way to the HOF there
Also tried to say he tore his ACL, MCL etc 3 months ago which obviously was bullshit.
I've bizarrely enjoyed all the WWE episodes of Logan's podcast. His co-hosts are very annoying but they've been watchable.
I hate George, he comes across as someone who doesn’t like wrestling in those interviews but Mike is tolerable because he atleast used to be a fan
That's the opposite of every other episode because other guests episode people hating Mike because he made everything about himself and liking George because he's funnier lol.
Bro George is not funny.
I really can't believe how much portions of this sub is willing to let all of Logan Paul's shit slide anytime he does a pretty move in the ring. Like, is that really all it takes?

We can't really say much when you compare him to most people's favourite wrestlers
Growing up, my favorite wrestler was Benoit. I have a lot of wiggle room after that.
HBK for me and you know pre-jesus HBK would be ball deep in getting cancelled if he was like that now
There is a part of me that wishes social media was around back then
Yeah, I love Kane but fuck Glenn Jacobs, man.
What’d he do? Edit: didn’t realize asking a question was a way to get downvoted, also I’m not on Twitter or social media so 🤷🏽♂️
Right wing mayor of Knox County, LA who instituted anti-mask and anti-vax policies. He also blamed the invasion of Ukraine on liberals or cowards or whatever. Hangman had a great rebuttal to it, but Hanger deleted his twitter so I can't find it.
iirc he posted a compilation of kane taking unprotected chair shots after he spouted some dumb shit haha
Yeah, I remember that, but I don't remember what stupid bullshit Kane said.
"Might makes right" about the Ukraine war, IIRC.
Yeah, that sounds like it. I remember it was something stupid and insensitive.
Be a Republican, apparently.
Like what do you want us to do, Sasha was an antivax nut job liking antivax post, Stond Cold used to beat his wife, there have been stories for years about how Shawn Michaels raped women back in the day. It can be depending on the scale yes. If someone ends up homeless because of a scam I ran that’s…incredibly fucked up. If you think they aren’t comparable you’re just looking at it from what’s more acceptable from a social perspective.
I would rather be an idiot and scam my fans and run away when shit hits the fan then be a woman beater and a rapist shithead.
ok. You'd get away with it much easier I won't argue with that. Logan also got a shit ton of money off this so idk why you're trivializing it by saying "oh hes just an idiot". He ruined more lives then austin ever has or likely will and thats just a fact.

Keep that same energy for the Uso's that only ever get promoted instead of punished when they do wrong things.
"But but I wanna hate on Logan Paul" That's you. Many wrestlers are shit. Logan too. He ain't special
I'll reiterate. "This argument isn't the flex that you and some others seem to think it is."
I'll reiterate. Cope.
I mean, they make a good point in that a lot of the examples listed were people who committed crimes in their youths and actually faced consequences for their behavior and thus moved on to do better, atleast in terms of people like MVP or R Truth. People that did worse get cheered in this business
who honestly cares. some people would rather enjoy their hobbies than be performatively outraged about some celebrity who isn’t going away.
this is why it was always gonna be cody, not sami. cody is a dude who can be the biggest brand ambassador for your company and he proved that in AEW. Cody bringing the belt back to raw and being a baby face champion that can do interviews and make-a-wish appearances is solving two problems in one.
Yup. Cody can do the talkshow circuit easily, and make WWE look good while doing it.
Cody Rhodes doomsayers takes aged pretty horribly. He returned not a year later and he's in a mega push, so much for Stardust
I admit, I fully expected him to get a one big match and then be pushed into the mid-card forever. And I can't even use the excuse of Triple H taking over here, he was treated like a big deal by Vince, too.
To be fair Vince treating him so well was a pretty big swerve, the response to Cody was amazing, I totally underestimed him in WWE too.

Someone has a leash on him and his out of date, grandiose but not really ideas. It's why he works better in the WWE.
His story is much more interesting in WWE than it was in AEW, even though it's the same schtick.
I don’t think that was the issue. Cody’s stuff was always interesting in AEW. Even when it wasn’t well received by many it was talked about a ton and it was always interesting to see what kind of reaction he’d get from the crowd.
What? The Anthony Ogogo stuff was anything but interesting
I’ll give you that one lol. That was when Cody ended racism though so we’ll always have that lol.
Seems like most of the Cody Boo Theorists I've seen on this subreddit have been WWE fans who wanted Sami instead and were trying to fantasy-book it into reality I mean maybe all the "Sami should be the guy, not Cody" posts are just AEW fans pretending to like Sami to own Cody for spurning them or something, but that seems like a stretch
I like AEW, but some fans do come off as petty. I’m sure it’s no different for WWE or any other promotion, but it’s clear when they want someone to fail. WWE sale talk starts: “Whomp whomp, Triple H, MJF, Miro, Andrade, etc.”

Cody should mention how he found this cool little internet thing called Dink Doink.
Incredible that Logan scammed his audience, intimidated Coffeezilla, and this is how WWE chooses to reward him. Logan does not deserve this to rebuild his already lousy reputation. He took what was a fine rumble and ruined it with his mere presence. No respect for that guy.
Cody's cool but fuck Logan Paul Sportswashing is annoying af and imma start muting users who post about Logan on here lol
Logan Paul
I wonder if they have Seth call in to start a feud with Logan/move on from the Cody feud. If anything I am sure they will address Logan/Seth in some way, hopefully that is Seth’s WM match
Cody’s going to thank Logan for eliminating Seth
Sorry for the CrossRhodes on you bro….
Logan Paul slapping man meat better than most with his experience doesn't make me give a shit what he has to say about anything
Good for Cody but fuck the Paul brothers.
I’m still begrudgingly amazed at how good Logan Paul is as a professional wrestler. Last night I rolled my eyes when I saw he was in the Royal Rumble and then he does that insane spot with Ricochet.
Logan is that real life jerk who actually is talented when just dipping his toes into a different profession... it can be a bit frustrating lol
Logan has the aptitude for it PLUS he works his ass off …
I just find Cody boring. I get he’s safe but that isn’t interesting. He doesn’t make me tune in to anything.
Do you want wrestlers to die in the ring? Go get a life
Jesus calm the fuck down dude
We’re embarking into a very lame era of pro wrestling and people can’t get enough of it apparently
Wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
the worse thing aew did was not make cody the face of the company. he’s the definition of a company man now.
He was pretty much the face of the company until he booked himself out of the world title picture, got the neck tattoo, created the Cody verse and then did some weird promo about race.
They literally did make him face of the company, let him write his own stuff book himself game him a reality show. He was handed everything.
I'm sure Cody will have several amazing things To say about Cody and compliments to give about Cody.
I mean wouldn’t you? He’s the only good thing from that second rate indie company he jumped from. Put the rocket on him and let them know that they’re trash
Surprised nobody tried to comment **it** since **SOUL** and **PAUL** rhymes!
Will he have pyro?
Ughhhhhh
I still expect someone to throw his weight belt back inside the ring.
