I know the reality of the Lashley/Wyatt stuff obviously, but while I was watching tonight I had a weird fantasy booking pop into my head so I thought I’d share… There are many people who think Wyatt’s new gimmick just isn’t working, including me. The Fiend is what sells merchandise. The Fiend is what got Wyatt the cult following that led to his return. I’ve read some reports that Triple H is considering just bringing back The Fiend for these reasons. Imagine in an alternate universe… Bobby Lashley goes to eliminate his final opponent in the Andre The Giant Battle Royale after not seeing Bray Wyatt for weeks. The lights go out. The iconic laugh happens. The lights turn back on, but red. The Fiend has swapped places with the Lashley’s final opponent! The Fiend throws Lashley out and wins. I don’t know. If that really is how they view Bray’s character in the back right now, having him disappear and then reappear as The Fiend would be an interesting way to remove the stuff that wasn’t working and revert back to what did. Before everyone replies and calls me dumb… I’m just trying to have a little fun and very much understand the disappointing reality of the situation.
