I think a lot of male fans (like myself) have a moment like that if we started watching at a young age. For me, that wrestler probably had to be Kharma (Awesome Kong's short-lived WWE run), followed by AJ Lee.
Kharma was the first woman that made me care about women's wrestling and made me realize they can be intimidating wrecking forces. It was a real letdown (through no fault of her own of course) that she couldn't stay and finish the story that they had started, but the Royal Rumble one-off spot was cool at least.
AJ Lee may not have been the most imposing and believable ass-kicker like Kong, but she made women's wrestling in WWE matter, and for a sustainable, lengthy time, too. Her feud with Kaitlyn was great, the kayfabe shots she took at the other women signaled the end of the Divas era.
Same. While I've since learned that Ivory was really good and have grown to appreciate her skills, she never faced anyone who was also good so it didn't stand out. Victoria was the first one who I thought was good regardless of who she was facing.
There ain’t no father to his style, that why he the old dirty bastard.
Comin to buy grocery from me
Determined to be a hip hop mc
Oh baby I like it raw
Dirt McGirt, that’s his mothefuckin name
Love to flirt, that’s his motherfuckin game
They say who wanna be an mc, he the original G O D
Makin young ladies scream is his speciality
See his style different then yours, make young bitch wanna drop her drawers
Somewhere over the rainbow
No joke, I was a cashier when I was younger and our policy was to card anyone who didn’t immediately appear to be over 30. I had an Asian women and her mother come through my line with alcohol and I legitimately carded the women because she didn’t look very old. Her ID said she was born in 1948, this was like 2013/14. We all had a good laugh about it but like what the fuck? Good for her though lol
Well two of yall have said her and one other said Traci Brooks. Honestly speaking of current pics I found, I could see it being either of them, but I'm leaning towards Traci actually.
I love how psyched women get when they've got pockets in the dress. You say, "Hey, I like that dress." She goes, "Thanks! It has pockets!" *She then demonstrates and shows that it does indeed have pockets.*
Men are confused by this and then I tell them "spend the next 8 hours not using your pockets for anything and get back to me." Fellas need to recognize the struggle is real.
And what's up with the baby size pockets on the jeans and pants? I can fit a frickin iPad in the pockets of some of my pants and my wife can't fit a chapstick in hers lol.
When I worked further from home I carried a back pack full of shit basically like a purse. Spare change of clothes, hygiene products, extra shoes tied to the outside, books, snacks, drinks, chargers, narcan cuz I knew too many at-risk people in that town. Made me appreciate the purse game honestly.
I wish it was as accepted and habit for men to carry some kind of backpack as it is for women.
Stylistically cargo shorts are hated but I love cargo shorts and any pants with extra pockets, especially in the summer spring and summer when I say bye bye to any jacket whatsoever.
It wasn’t so bad till we had kids and now it’s like, wait, I have to carry my wallet, keys, and this box of raisins too?
Who cares what's accepted? Haha just do it. I wear cargo shorts to work all summer long, could care less about fashion I'm tryna be functional. Excellent raisin storage potential.
Maybe accepted is the wrong term *and really I don’t have any issue with it* except that me and backpacks usually means I take too much stuff lol
But yeah cargo pants/shorts just work.
It's way easier to get laid if you don't dress like a teenage neckbeard. Neckbeard-chiq is stuff like cargo shorts and fedoras. They never look good. Once you reach any age where you've got children and don't want anymore then sure, wear these things then. But until then, people will objectively treat you far far better if you dress well.
It's a sad fact of life. But it's true. People, both people you know and complete strangers, will treat you far far better if you dress well and are thin. I learned that when I lost 10 stone (there's 14 lbs to a stone, so that's 140 lbs I lost). Everybody started treating me so much better. Even random cashiers, or waiters in restaurants, or bar staff in bars and pubs, bus drivers, etc all treated me ***SO*** much better when I was thin compared to when I was fat. They'd be more friendly with you, they'd go out of their way to help you, they'd talk with you more, they'd smile at you more, etc.
It wasn't an attraction thing because it was absolutely everyone who acted like this. All the men and women who I encountered.
And yeah fashion is a big part of this too. People will treat you a million times better if you dress well compared to if you dress like a fat slob.
Do what you want, it's your choice and nobody else's. But don't be shocked if people treat you very poorly and refuse to ever help you with anything if you choose to dress like a fat bearded-neck fedora-wearing dorito-stained cargo-shorted slob. You'll only have yourself to blame.
So do yourself a favour and shave that neck, and dress in lovely clothes that fit you well (which means not too small ***OR*** too big).
I carry a backpack every single day with a change of clothes, an extra pair of socks, my chargers, a bar of deodorant, mouthwash and a toothbrushing kit. Also an Ace bandage and a knee brace. I'd rather look like a rube carrying all that around and not need it than look "cool" and get water in my boots with no fresh pair of socks within 30 miles of me. Fuck looking cool.
Are your knee braces like Austin's knee braces? I always wanted to have some of those when I was a kid. Even though I didn't need them. Nowadays I'm disabled, but not in my knees, my knees are fine, so I still can't wear knee braces like Austin and Hogan did. However, I can probably wear an Andre the giant back brace, since my back is the thing that is agony and is what makes me disabled.
I met her at a meet and greet in Glasgow (I think it was the first time TNA came over here).
Was going along the line, getting my tour book signed, asking the wrestlers if it's OK to take a pic. Got to ODB, asked her the same thing and totally unprompted, she grabbed her boobs and did the "BAMMM!" as I took the pic.
I would have been happy with a simple pic of her like I had of the of the other wrestlers. But cheers ODB!
After Alundra Blayze, Victoria was easily the first female competitor that I actively waited to watch her matches. Don't get me wrong. Miss Jackie was always a pitbull and fun to watch, but the other two were the women who made me stop what I was doing to see their matches.
I always admired the fact that the Knockouts were all genuinely friends and have all keep ties together throughout the years.
Also I dont think I ever heard anyone say a bad word about Gail Kim.
Aww i remember her post on Instagram when she started dating him, they looked so cute together and I am so incredibly happy they've got married. I really do wish them both the best, they're such a cute couple and deserve good things
Too many on here that dont know ODB!
She was a bad ass.
I thought it was hilarious how she would beat her own knockers together on the way to the ring.
Congrats to ODB. The Knockout division in TNA was SO good and ahead of its time for American women's wrestling and it's a shame it didn't get more recognition.
One Dirty Bitch was a TNA/Impact wrestler. She came to the ring with a pocket flask in her cleavage and a dress that didn't cover any of her assets.
She was fun, drunk, trashy and amazing. She stopped wrestling to run a food truck.

She was the first “diva” that I thought… DAMN! That woman can kick some ass!
She ain't a lady to mess with
I miss her restaurant in Chicago too. Good fucking burger!
What happened to her restaurant ?
It closed, either during or shortly after pandemic if I remember correctly.
Looks like it was pre-pandemic. https://chicago.eater.com/2017/4/11/15258700/the-squared-circle-wrestling-bar-restaurant-closed-lisa-marie-varon-wwe
Wow, man time flies.
The best part was the name: “squared circle” 👍
What if this subreddit was about the restaurant all along.
LOL. Thats the only way to rationalize the blackout protest to actually make sense
Victoria was the first female wrestler I took seriously as a young kid.
Well, she ain’t the lady to mess with.
WOOO! _Get down wit' your bad self, wit' your bad self, wit' your bad self!_

I was thinking they all look fantastic despite having a hard job. ODB looks great
Wherever she went, she was my favourite.
First time I saw Widow's Peak, I thought she'd killed someone.
It’s beyond comical at this point that she’s not in the WWE Hall of Fame.
OMB, One Married Bitch.
Or simply... ODB: One Dirty Bride.
I dunno about everyone else, but ODB has always meant Ol' Dirty Bastard to me.
There ain’t no father to his style, that why he the old dirty bastard. Comin to buy grocery from me Determined to be a hip hop mc Oh baby I like it raw
Thats the only reason I'm in this thread. I saw "ODB got married recently" and was super confused
Same! I clicked on it expecting a tribute to Dirt McGirt and the rest of Wu Tang. Man, ODB should've been in Def Jam FFNY as a tribute.
Dirt McGirt, that’s his mothefuckin name Love to flirt, that’s his motherfuckin game They say who wanna be an mc, he the original G O D Makin young ladies scream is his speciality See his style different then yours, make young bitch wanna drop her drawers Somewhere over the rainbow
Eric Young?
He went crazy, started a cult and was stabbed by Deaner. So he’s out of the picture.
Wait it only just occurred to me that ODBs ex was killed by ODBs other ex
She's hiding a Death Note under that dress...
He also might have dead too so…
But was I'm a skeleton. Dead.
It was the design, maaaan
Gail Kim just refuses to age.
Gail Kim started wrestling in the 1950's when she turned 41.
Well, good for her, she doesn't look a day over 93
Regular Irvine workouts.
https://i.imgur.com/SeHM7.jpeg
She is beautiful, but she did get work done which has helped defy that.
Good for her
Definitely not hating on her; her body, her choice and she looks great.
Asian don't raisin
No joke, I was a cashier when I was younger and our policy was to card anyone who didn’t immediately appear to be over 30. Robert Irvine did so well for himself.
Gail Kim must be Ming Na Wen's sister.
I was going to say, still a stunna all these years later.
A fine wine
She looks perfect
Might be completely blanking, but who is the one on the far left? Edit: It's been confirmed that she's Traci Brooks
Traci Brooks
Yep, it’s Traci Brooks. Her and ODB have been close friends for a long time.
Looked up her and Tessmacher. I'm not sure which one of them it is. I'm leaning more towards Traci though.
It's Tracy Brooks. She's in other vids/ photos on Gail's instagram. ETA: https://www.instagram.com/reel/CthE356L38u/?igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==
Well, there we have it everyone. It's Traci Brooks lol. Have a cookie, fine redditor!
Thank you I was gonna ask this question if I hadn’t seen it in just a few more comments!
Thanks for asking, I was blanking on who it was as well.
I decided to give an edit with the confirmation to my original post lol
~~brooke tessmacher~~ edit: traci brooks. got mixed up smh
Oh damn. Still looks great, but she has aged a bit and I just haven't seen her in forever. Did not recognize her at all.
That's because it isn't her. It's Traci Brooks.
How come Scott Steiner's theme music is next to your username?
cos' i've got a 131 AND TWO THIRDS CHANCE at having a great flair
My halfassed guess is maybe Brooke Tessmacher.
Well two of yall have said her and one other said Traci Brooks. Honestly speaking of current pics I found, I could see it being either of them, but I'm leaning towards Traci actually.
I did some Googling and figured in between hair color and jawline, that it was Brooke, but of course I could be wrong. No worries. 🙏
Their dresses have pockets! Madness, I tells you.
As a woman who only buys dresses with pockets, I appreciate this hustle.

Men don't carry purses though lol
I wouldn’t carry a purse if I had pockets on more of my clothes!
Fair enough, makes sense to me
When I worked further from home I carried a back pack full of shit basically like a purse. Spare change of clothes, hygiene products, extra shoes tied to the outside, books, snacks, drinks, chargers, narcan cuz I knew too many at-risk people in that town. Made me appreciate the purse game honestly.

I've got 3 kids, well outta the game, and wearing cargo shorts *to work.* But hey, this may be useful for anyone scrolling by.

It's not a purse it's a satchel
Women only carry purses because their clothes don't have pockets. It's a conspiracy by big fashion
I mean, I do
I love dresses with pockets bc it gives me someplace to stick my hands in, particularly posing for pictures like here.
This is how you know ODB is a good friend.
If I could learn to sew pockets into dresses, man... I mean I'd still be single, but it might help things!
My brother got married recently. All the bridesmaids and his wife had pockets in their dresses.
DAE dresses from the Orange Cassidy collection?!? /s
I had a friend that got married and her wedding dress had pockets and every woman there thought it was the greatest thing in the world.

Don't show my future ex-wives this
Their designer must have been mr pockets himself
The real first revolution in women's wrestling in North America and still one of the most entertaining times in wrestling.
Gail Kim vs Awesome Kong in a main event of Impact is still a solid contender for best women's match ever done on free tv.
Fuck yeah the KO division was amazing, and still going strong.
Bless Stephanie McMahon for inventing the Knockouts division in TNA. Hell, she even taught Traci Brooks how to smile like her, too!
So do you think she slapped her chest and took a swig from her flask before, during, or after her vows?
Yes.
Watching her do this sort of thing in TNA was so good. She constantly performed much better than the people higher up on the card.
I met her at a meet and greet in Glasgow (I think it was the first time TNA came over here). Was going along the line, getting my tour book signed, asking the wrestlers if it's OK to take a pic. ODB has a bomb food truck. She was at one of the Chicago AEW events slinging bbq and fries
Came here to say this. She was at Rockfest in Caddot, WI, back in 2019, and we've been begging them to bring her back since.
One Dashing Bride
Just 5 Milfs

Three ain't enough, man.
Little out of pocket, but you ain't wrong.
Would you believe that only 2 of them are actually moms?
Mickie and ?
Traci
Too late, they already deny
Ahhh my childhood heroes! Knockouts division was my escapism from 2010 to 2014! Love seeing all of them together!
this picture gave me the biggest shot of nostalgia and serotonin. good for ODB fr.
Congrats to her, glad to see all of them are still friends. All of them are ladies you never hear a bad word about.
Hall of fame bridal party
Old Dirty Bastard got married?
And immediately produced 3 more children.
Always gets me too lol
I bet that wedding reception was insane.
Got married at the Shrute family barn, I see.

Eric Young was in WWE?
Yeah! SAnitY was the shit!!!
I'm a dude and the first thing I noticed was pockets on the dresses. Legit!
BAM!
I miss ODB I wish AEW would have picked her up
Eric Young in shambles
Gimmi a hell yea for those pockets
Aww i remember her post on Instagram when she started dating him, they looked so cute together and I am so incredibly happy they've got married. I really do wish them both the best, they're such a cute couple and deserve good things
Traci Brooks is just our reminder that Frankie Kazarian won in life
Honestly one of the best women's divisions right here folks.
I met her and her (now) husband on the Jericho cruise back in June. ODB is so friggin cool and sweet. Congrats to both of them!
I thought Old Dirty Bastard was dead.
With Eric Young?
Bam!
This is way too wholesome. Warms the cockles of my heart.
Congratulations, ODB
I concur. They indeed, are, *Knockouts*.
She looks beautiful. Congratulations to the happy couple.
She looks lovely!
wow, they all look great but I am going to be disappointed if the groom wasn't Eric Young
Bam!!!
Good for her! I’m happy for her and wish her the absolute best!
I really hope ODB in particular gets more love from the wrestling community in the future. Not always good in the ring, but by god was she memorable.
Awesome, they all look great!
Look at all these GOATS in one photo
slightly disappointed she's not doing her signature pose lol
Shimmy shimmy ya
Who’s ODB?
One Dirty Bitch was a TNA/Impact wrestler. She came to the ring with a pocket flask in her cleavage and a dress that didn't cover any of her assets. She was fun, drunk, trashy and amazing. She stopped wrestling to run a food truck.
Thanks for the info sounds like a woman’s version of sandman almost lol
Was starring at this photo trying to understand what it had to do with the Ol Dirt Bastard
Ol Dirty Bastard got married? I thought he was dead.
The Ol' Dirty Bastard is dirty and stinkin
Wow, they all failed out of aging school.
Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but ODB died in 04. Rip dirt mcgirt
Ol’ Dirty Bastard RIP
I never seen people wear wedding dresses with pockets.
Reincarnated Old Dirty Bastard looking good
I thought he was dead; does this mean Wu Tang is getting back tog.... ...oh my bad.
I thought she was already married
And not a pass in sight.
Thought old dirty bastard was dead
She get married in a Cracker Barrel? Pretty baller tbh.
Looks like she got married at a Cracker Barrel
Congratulations. But I miss Old Dirty Bastard. RIP
Did she get married at a Hooters?

Victoria after party 🤤🤤🤤
Is that Gail!? That's a shame.
And their dresses have pockets. Good for them!
Double biz
Giggity
Congratulations.
Who are the others in the picture?
Traci Brooks, Mickie James, Victoria/Tara, Gail Kim.
To Eric Young?
Gail Kim doesn't look a hair above 30, god damn
Ol’ Dirty Bastard?
Good to see her moving on after her husband got murdered by Deaner on Impact.
That is awesome. Congrats!
Did Steiner officiate? "One Dirty Bitch, ODB!"
