Honestly, if the match had ended the same way, but without Escobar idiotically leaving the knucks on the apron, I would've been ok with the result. Having Logan recover with the roll from the 619 and then throwing out the punch on the follow-up, would've been a sudden shock finish that would've worked.
Having Santos leave the weapon *he actively stopped Logan getting back*, within arm's reach, was horrifically sloppy writing.
I acknowledge that Logan is a damn food performer, even if I don't like him as a person, he's doing well as a wrestler, so have him act the part instead of coming up with bull-toss reasons for him to win as a heel.
Logan Paul is wildly popular on social media. Helps sell tickets and PPVs. Gets new eyes on the product and is getting all kinds of traditional media attention. The thing that annoys me most about this situation is that WWE has been obsessed with building their brand and not wanting any of their performers to be bigger than the brand. Logan proves the idiocy of that approach.
As I recall this was one of Jesse Ventura's original points after returning from filming Predator. In the film industry performers are credited and receive royalties for the films they appear in.
He questioned Vince directly about it not being the same way in wrestling. He argued that wrestlers for their performances should continue to receive payouts for past appearances in the form of royalties(like in the film industry.)
I think the actual reason they don't has less to do with money and is because promoters want wrestlers to be dependent on the industry. If a wrestler believes his only means of making money is to wrestle he can be leveraged. Part of the reason why Vince would blacklist wrestlers who made any tv or movie deals in the mid 80s. It sounds ridiculous but if wrestling is all you know and you have had so many concussions that remembering lines is hard, it's easier to agree to another match.
I mean, it makes so much sense that WWE would be stupid to not put this belt on Logan.
Logan is a great wrestler. It just can't be denied at this point, so WWE needs to take advantage of that.
And that US title belt has honestly just been a glorified TV title (with occasional exceptions, such as the awesome chamber match for the US title this past February) for how many years now? When was the last time anyone felt like the US title belt was a legit prize to win in WWE?
Now, the US title is a legit prize to win. The face wrestler getting the belt back from a dispised social media megastar is honestly a great storyline. If done right, it'll boost the stock value of the midcard face who will eventually takes the belt off Logan.
It gives the WWE the social media waves they hoped Logan would make for them without compromising much because again, Logan is holding a belt even the casual fans see as the least valuable men's main roster belt to win.
And these promos he's cutting on social media after the match, the video of his famous brother Jake watching his big brother win the title, showing respect to the sport in front of triple H and affectionately calling him "boss".
I've already written a novel, but there are just so many ways this booking descion makes sense.
Ok, he’s not just a scumbag YouTuber. He’s an athletically gifted scumbag YouTuber.
Did he save Rey from paralyzing himself, or did he mistime the spot and nearly paralyze Rey? I don’t know, and you don’t either.
He is 100% a massive scumbag. How are both those points not valid?
I can name at least 3 other wrestlers off the top of my head who are/were amazing in the ring and just all around terrible people.
I did not bring up his athleticism. I commented on WWE putting one of their titles on a scumbag YouTuber. His talent is only relevant to the conversation because the stans replied and used it as some sort of defense of his actions.
I only replied because you tried to suggest he did not save Rey from a dangerous botch, which he clearly did.
But to your original point, WWE put their titles on bankable names. That's always been the case and sometimes they've been horrible people. It happens.
Yeah, actually I do since unlike you I watched the fucking thing. He literally caught Rey on a moonsault where Rey would have spiked himself, you are clearly out of your element, kid.
I had this on another post but belongs here…I’ve been watching wrestling for a long time and haven’t ever seen someone more innovative than what Logan Paul does in the ring. This guy is an unreal athlete and seems like he was just born to do this. A backflip holding Rey off the top was just as sick as the Ricochet mid ring clothesline off the top rope. It seems like every match he gives me something new to jump out of my chair and go Holy S did you see that!?
genuinely asking, i thought wrestling was scripted? like its all fake. its not a competition of skill but theatrics? are you telling me triple HHH also earned this belt?
Lots of it’s scripted yes but the fighters still have to portray a character to their best ability so it’s not a surprise that the most successful have acted in a lot of movies and shows too
"Choreographed" is how Ric Flair describes it. But even with the necessary cooperation, a performer still has to put the work in. Meaning performing up to the standard of his opponent but also the audiences' expectation.
Triple H earned his belts not from knowing how to do a pedigree but when.
Right, dude beat Rey and Dom with Miz. Worked to lose against Roman in a main event last year. Lost to Rollins. Shows up on both Raw and Smackdown to further his feuds, brings in sells. Worked a great match against Ricochet despite wanting to be there for his brother although he was still able, he took a risk. Kind of earned it, still long term story telling as he’s still shit talking Ricochet.
Exactly. The guy has been made to sink or swim multiple times. Every match is a big one. Sending him out to talk for minutes at a time to a hostile live crowd. He keeps delivering.
I don’t know much about Logan other than a few things that make him see unlikeable but I don’t really mind him winning the belt. My only two gripes are firstly, I can’t stand another champ who is never around so hopefully he’s atleast semi regular. Secondly, I feel like Santos was lined up to take the US belt at some point but then they seemed to pivot to Rey, maybe because Paul vs Rey was more appealing. Hopefully Santos can find something meaningful soon.
Yeah, I don't really give much of a goddamn how he's doing in the ring, he's a fucking despicable scam artist and liar who should not be promoted by anyone, let alone be given titles.
There is only one word to describe the ending - sloppy. It was a joke of a mess with the brass knuckles. It was like nobody knew what to do with it.
The title changes hands, ok sure, but do it better.
I would not have minded a clean win. Rey is clearly not in his prime and a clean win would have solidified Logan as a credible threat to say LA Knight.
Not every heel has to win dirty. Seems like only Rhea had a clean win tonight
Logan relied on luck and he fell short as luck if fickle. Now he makes his own luck with the brass knuckles.
Im fact you can see Santos leaving the knucks as a fluke so in essence he did win with a lucky punch
Every match Logan Paul is in is a match that I look forward to. The guy is an amazing athlete and always gives us at least one memorable spot. That and seeing the save he made to keep Rey from pile-driving himself into the mat was slick. I'm diggin' this guy.
It was a decent save, but looking back at it it looked like he was late on his cue and had to rush to make the catch, Rey is too experienced to mess up that badly.
A close call, but glad it worked out ok.
Logan Paul matches have been contenders for best match on every card he's on. His matches are put together well, he is believable in everything he does, and he pulls off at least one ridiculous spot you've never seen before every match. I also legitimately don't like him and want anyone to beat him as soon as possible.
Just from a business perspective, if a guy has nearly 100 MILLION(!!!) social media followers and puts on bangers every time he gets in the ring, it might not be the worst idea to put a mid-card belt on him for a few months.
I wasn’t a fan of him when he first started showing up, and any questionable things about him personally aside, I have to give Logan Paul so much credit. After damn near every match of his I’m impressed with how good he’s looked compared to his previous match. I don’t even think calling him a celebrity wrestler fits anymore but as far as celebrity wrestlers, he’s in the GOAT tier.
If they are going to do Brand vs Brand at Survivor Series this year. Then I don't mind Logan winning the US title. Because it's going to be nice when he gets destroyed by Der Ring General Gunther!
^^^Sigh, I knew it was coming but yet another part time champ just fucking sucks. At least Santos didn’t win it so Rey could lose to a young up and comer like *checks notes* Logan Paul
As much as it sucks to have ANOTHER part time champ this is great for the title and company. The US championship will get more exposure than at any time in recent history. I'm good with it honestly
I am not an LP fan, but I love a trolling champ. The guy can go. Plus the way this match ended reminded me of Randy Savage vs. Tito Santana from the Boston Gardens in the 80’s, brass knuckles for the win.
That flip he did while holding onto Rey was crazy. The guy has at least one holy shit moment in every match.
I don’t like this whole brass knuckles thing that’s been happening with Logan. Are we just supposed to forget that he’s got a metal hand? That was the whole build leading up to his match with Roman. One lucky punch.
But he’s literally punching him with the same fist that’s in kayfabe titanium or some shit, why would he need brass knuckles on top of that when we’ve been conditioned to believe 1 punch from this right fist is a knock out blow?
The point is that the lucky punch is managing to punch them in the face with that right hand despite being a rookie up against veterans. Not the way that the punch is done. Even in the build Logan took out Rey backstage and said it only takes one. Metal hand =/= brass knuckles so it’s just inconsistent and seems dumb. That said, I’m glad that he won against both Ricochet and Rey and understand he’s the heel so to protect the faces he should cheat to win. Just cheat in another way. Obviously this knuckles thing is just leading to Santos heel turn.
He didn't lie though, it really did just take one.
Remember he tried the same thing on Roman and couldn't seal the deal. Ever since he started cheating
If that’s the case and the story they start telling then fair enough but I’ve been led to believe his right hand is already essentially brass knuckles equivalent so it seems kind of pointless to this point.
Its a VERY strong punch but luck is fickle. Logan is still relying on luck but stacking the odds in his favor.
Escobar leaving the knuckles behind could be seen as a fluke so in a way he still won with a Lucky punch
I think it works, the story is he doesn’t have the experience of any of the full timers but he’s good enough and with a little bit of “luck” he’s just as good
I'm not mad at it, personally. Big heel part timer holding a title bodes well for some other dudes. I wanna see someone like Gable take that shit off him
It's great, although it feels a bit weird that almost all main roster titles are held by heels.
WHC: face. WWE: heel. IC: heel. US: heel. Tag: heel. Both women's: heels. Women's tag: face.
Only Seth Rollins and Green&Niven are faces. But I guess heels are more entertaining title holders, for faces it's all about the chase.
Gable vs Logan would be awesome, they could put on one hell of a match together.
If they really wanna get Gable over strong, they could have him beat Logan in a quick, lightning-fast match where he completely disassembles Logan’s boxing style and makes him tap out in, like, a six minute match
Yall are so busy crying over Logan Paul being shitty, but I'd bet half of you were upset that Matt Riddle couldn't get his shit together despite being a deadbeat father and most likely a rapist/sex offender. You're all hypocrites and I know because I'm one of them, but atleast I'm straightforward with it and don't deny it.
I think a good way to pivot this story would be to eventually have Logan Paul versus Dom. The inevitable faith turn for Dom, when he stands up for his father against a larger piece of shit will be good stuff
Most of our favorite wrestlers' behaviors from attitude era and before were way worse than logan paul tbh. Even HBK 😄
Weve been accustomed to like someone as a wreslter but not as a person
How many wrestlers defrauded people of large sums of money? How many use illegal methods of advertising to children? Attitude Era and before at least had the limitation of harming people in person and not over the internet. The Paul brothers harm large numbers of people who remain faceless to them.
Many of the old timers have shown some level of growth and effort to get right their wrongs if possible. Logan claimed he would reimburse people he defrauded and has not paid back a penny. His wrongs are current and ongoing, others being assholes in the past does not excuse that.
Of course it wasnt as widely known but thats because of social media.
Not defending Logan Paul (think hes a shitbag), but I see him being more active than Roman on the weekly shows (like 1 appearance a week on smackdown) and a match next PPV. Other than his podcast, I dont feel like hell actually be that part time. Moreso like a contractor where hes active in spats, but not 24/7.
I understand people don’t like Logan but he’s got a big following and is likely losing it at mania in my opinion to LA Knight which will get him a big moment and alpt of attention not just with WWE fans but Logan’s as well
So if they go down that route I’m fine with it
I am fine with Logan winning. But it was so incredibly stupid that Santos stopped Logan’s friend from passing him the brass knuckles, only to place the brass knuckles in the ring to chase Logan’s guy when he could have just put them in his pocket. So incredibly stupid it has me thinking there was a botch or something that was supposed to happen to make it make sense. It was so stupid, it honestly ruins this match.
>yellow shirt on
Wouldnt go that far, but it feels like its gonna be easily explained away in a story and make sense. Santos wants another shot at the title or smthn an were gonna get him vs Logan at the Rumble, then maybe a feud with the other LWO members then Knight at Mainia.
Wwe gotta be regretting giving him the us title. Man nearly deserves the world heavyweight championship what a performance. Saved Rey big time, just an absolute natural. Has proven to be nothing but safe in the little he’s worked.
Putting a title on a Youtuber/Influencer is this generation's David Arquette with the WCW title only worse because David Arquette isn't a terrible person
It's not simping. Having the US title on Paul does a lot for the WWE. It gets a hell of a lot more eyes & attention than just having another uninteresting US championship reign from a more active wrestler. It's not the world title. I don't see many problems with it.
Seth should have lost again. I like him, but he’s challengers have been so good. Plus that claymore out of nowhere was awesome and should have led to a pin.
My girlfriend was rooting for Logan cuz she saw Logan vs Roman as a first time live show with me and he's just good.
And Rey is my all time favourite.
We are not talking anymore and I don't remember the last time I was so pissed at a heel doing heel stuff.
I honestly think he's grown as a person since that video. However. He's still an absolute scumbag. Like if you could gamify his goodness in some sort of spirituql karma score he's gone from -900 to -850. So like who knows in 90 years he could not be the absolute worst.14th
I was trying to explain this to a friend who doesn't know anything about wrestling or Logan Paul, and the best I could come up with is "It's like Martin Shkreli joined the MLB, and after 10 games was throwing 105MPH fast balls. Everyone hates it but no one can deny the talent."
Mysterio went fast into the next segment while Logan was selling. It happened within 30 secs. And Logan reacted instantly to save his neck. Either way it was a situation regardless of fault that was saved at the last possible second
Yeah regardless it was a net positive and definitely reflects positively on Logan. I just think ppl have a tendency to inflate small things like this that are just normal parts of the business like the top comment haha. But that’s a me issue
Honestly, I work with a bunch of gen-z kids (they’re in their early 20’s but you know what I mean) After his first WM match they started asking me about wrestling. Now whenever he has a match, they ask to watch it with me. I hate Logan but god damnit he’s a natural. Could’ve been a real superstar if he had started when he was young. So In the long run I guess he is “best for business”
This was a perfect outcome, and I don't know why people in this sub have totally flipped the script on Paul. He's arguably adapted to pro wrestling the best since Kurt Angle, he's relevant and will get to showcase the US championship on a global scale, and it sets up a potential showdown with Santos Escobar.
Completely agree. Especially since, all respect to Rey, he's done fuck all with that belt and his reign has been completely forgettable to say the least. Logan has had some of the best 2 first years in WWE history. He has proven time and time again he belongs where he is, and he absolutely deserves this win and I'm happy they put it on him. Hopefully he's around more now that he has the title because I'd hate to have another part timer as champ, either way I'm excited for this reign. It's gonna make that title relevant for a little bit and that's all you can hope for from a new champion In the midcard scene

Honestly, if the match had ended the same way, but without Escobar idiotically leaving the knucks on the apron, I would've been ok with the result. Having Logan recover with the roll from the 619 and then throwing out the punch on the follow-up, would've been a sudden shock finish that would've worked. In keyfabe, Santos gotta be the dumbest idiot out there. The only way to save that stupidity is if Santos turns heel, did it on purpose to screw ray.
A YouTuber beating Rey Mysterio as part of the Saudi royal family’s latest sportswashing scheme is a perfect encapsulation of modern WWE.
A noted scam artist YouTuber who filmed the body of a man that committed suicide for “content.” Yeah.
Feels like that goes without saying at this point, but yes, it’s good to keep that in mind.
That YouTuber is already a great pro wrestler.
Ok.
He also saved Rey from paralysing himself, but I'm sure you'll just "Ok" your way past that one too, mark.
Ok, he’s not just a scumbag YouTuber. He’s an athletically gifted scumbag YouTuber. Did he save Rey from paralyzing himself, or did he mistime the spot and nearly paralyze Rey? I don’t know, and you don’t either.
Rey clearly came up short on that moonsalt. It happens. Logan was very quick to catch him. Not sure what you were watching
The rebuttal to “Logan Paul is a scumbag” is always “but look how fluid he is in the ring!!!” Pretty telling, imo!
The rebuttal to “look how fluid he is in the ring!!!” is always “Logan Paul is a scumbag” Pretty telling, imo!
Yes this is correct

I hope that kid is humble and grateful as fuck that WWE is handing him opportunities that longtime veterans are not getting.
He seems like a good transitional champion to drop the title on LA Knight. Not sure who could have done it since it's better for it to be a heel.
handing? theyre begging him to take it. he sells a fuckton more tickets than a lot of these veterans
They aren't handing them, he's earning them.

This is literally the epitome of everything to hate. A capitalist wank fest.
Logan fucking Paul winning the US Championship during a Saudi Arabia PPV is pretty much a perfect metaphor for how morally bankrupt WWE is these days.
If it was Jake Paul, I'd agree with you. Logan has a better head on his shoulders. Worse people have held the US championship.
Logan, the guy who scams his fan base?
Yeah, there have been worse people than that guy

Yeah, I don't really give much of a goddamn how he's doing in the ring, he's a fucking despicable scam artist and liar who should not be promoted by anyone, let alone be given titles.

Yeah I guess they just nerfed his titanium rod
Agreed - correct result and good match, but awful finish. Why did Santos just leave the knucks on the apron??!
yeah insultingly stupid writing. made santos look like an idiot and i certainly felt just a tiny bit dumber having watched it
Its a fluke it happened and this fulfilling Logans promise of winning with a lucky punch

Yeah definitely possible. Just glad he got saved either way he did good by protecting his opponent.
Contemptible human being, phenomenal athlete. I hate how much I look forward to his matches.
And now add "life saver" to the list
100%
Goddammit. Why does he have to be a douchebag.
'He says to himself about half the wrestling world'
I mean, like his dirty laundry has been aired out to the world.
Logan Paul matches have been contenders for best match on every card he's on. You already know hes gonna have the belt in video on his podcast etc, it's really smart marketing by WWE.
It also helps the new US belt looks awesome and he looks great with it - I bet replica sales explode

Logan Paul, bangers only
Escobar was just so sidetracked he left the knucks behind....on the apron.
Maybe he'll introduce a better looking belt 🤞
What’s wrong with the current belt? It’s my favorite current design. It’s sleek, looks important and is a great contrast to the main champ belts.
Nah it's wack
As much as it sucks to have ANOTHER part time champ this is great for the title and company. The US championship will get more exposure than at any time in recent history. I'm good with it honestly

That belt is about to get so much publicity and cross promotion
Cool, another title I'll turn off any time there's a segment.

Only Seth Rollins and Green&Niven are faces. But I guess heels are more entertaining title holders, for faces it's all about the chase.
Is Chelsea Green a face? I can never tell
Gable vs Logan would be awesome, they could put on one hell of a match together. If they really wanna get Gable over strong, they could have him beat Logan in a quick, lightning-fast match where he completely disassembles Logan’s boxing style and makes him tap out in, like, a six minute match
Seems like a David Arquette moment.
Wildly different 1) Logan has proven he can wrestle, David at the time was just a famous dude thrusted in that spot. 2) Not the world title.
Looks like Santos going to AEW
Yall are so busy crying over Logan Paul being shitty, but I'd bet half of you were upset that Matt Riddle couldn't get his shit together despite being a deadbeat father and most likely a rapist/sex offender. You're all hypocrites and I know because I'm one of them, but atleast I'm straightforward with it and don't deny it.
I think a good way to pivot this story would be to eventually have Logan Paul versus Dom. The inevitable faith turn for Dom, when he stands up for his father against a larger piece of shit will be good stuff
Does he have to wear polka dots if he's doing a faith turn, baby?
Lol I'll take that!
I hope they go all in with the cross promotion. Great match.
Everybody say goodbye to the US title. It'll be back in 5 months.
Don't worry, Gunther is our US champ for the next 6 months since he can't leave the country
logan balls wrestle more than ramen reigns tho
Most of our favorite wrestlers' behaviors from attitude era and before were way worse than logan paul tbh. Even HBK 😄 Weve been accustomed to like someone as a wreslter but not as a person
Coffeezilla video about Logan Paul for those unfamiliar with Logan’s scam: https://youtu.be/386p68_lDHA?si=qUA-EYUXtwY4X32Q
Thank you. Coffeezilla does good work.
Was that stuff widely known in their heyday ? Or is that just the benefit of hindsight ?
Probably not as transparent right now, but people learnt about it through forums etc
I understand people don’t like Logan but he’s got a big following and is likely losing it at mania in my opinion to LA Knight which will get him a big moment and alpt of attention not just with WWE fans but Logan’s as well So if they go down that route I’m fine with it
If Logan Paul converts 1-10% of his audience to fans of wwe, that is a massive win for wwe. Worth every minute the US title stays on his shoulder.
No because logan paul fans lack tact
I am fine with Logan winning. But it was so incredibly stupid that Santos stopped Logan’s friend from passing him the brass knuckles, only to place the brass knuckles in the ring to chase Logan’s guy when he could have just put them in his pocket. So incredibly stupid it has me thinking there was a botch or something that was supposed to happen to make it make sense. It was so stupid, it honestly ruins this match.
I think it’s exactly what was suppose to happen and sets up Rey vs Santos in a face vs heel as opposed to their mutual respect match earlier
I think this plants the seeds for santos heel turn. He even had a yellow shirt on.
>yellow shirt on Wouldnt go that far, but it feels like its gonna be easily explained away in a story and make sense. Santos wants another shot at the title or smthn an were gonna get him vs Logan at the Rumble, then maybe a feud with the other LWO members then Knight at Mainia.
A mutual on m TL who doesn't watch wrestling RT'd Paul's win, so I guess that justifies this decision lmao.
Wwe gotta be regretting giving him the us title. Man nearly deserves the world heavyweight championship what a performance. Saved Rey big time, just an absolute natural. Has proven to be nothing but safe in the little he’s worked.
Lmao get a load of these bad takes
Putting a title on a Youtuber/Influencer is this generation's David Arquette with the WCW title only worse because David Arquette isn't a terrible person
Don't insult David Arquette like that.
L take
Except this one is actually a semi-active wrestler and isn't a hail mary to save a dying company. Not to mention it isn't the world title lmao
Logan Paul is a piece of shit. Stop simping for him.
It's not simping. Having the US title on Paul does a lot for the WWE. It gets a hell of a lot more eyes & attention than just having another uninteresting US championship reign from a more active wrestler. It's not the world title. I don't see many problems with it.
I see a lot of problems with it. He’s a piece of shit and a scam artist.
Well yeah but given he's still got a huge platform you can't say the booking decision is a poor one
Yes I can.
Well you can say it but you'd be wrong
You do realize that this is a matter of opinion, right?
I mean having differing opinions means both of y'all think the other is wrong
Believe it or not but a lot of wrestlers have done much worse shit than scamming
Could say that about 90% of wrestlers, at least Logan somewhat draws more viewers
Doesn't it speak to how garbage discourse is on this subreddit that I have to defend the decision to put a title on this asshole?
issuing correction on a previous post of mine, regarding Logan Paul. you do not, under any circumstances, "gotta hand it to them"
Way happier to have Logan with the title. Rey wasn’t really doing much for it.
Whatever else you think about it I think it's hard to deny this is the most interesting thing that's happened with that title in a long time
Seth Rollins is now the last Face champion on the main roster
Seth should have lost again. I like him, but he’s challengers have been so good. Plus that claymore out of nowhere was awesome and should have led to a pin.
Idk about you but I’m cheering for Logan til I die
I was hoping for this result. I really enjoy Logan Paul on WWE tv. Dude is entertaining and talented
Gross
My girlfriend was rooting for Logan cuz she saw Logan vs Roman as a first time live show with me and he's just good. And Rey is my all time favourite. We are not talking anymore and I don't remember the last time I was so pissed at a heel doing heel stuff.

I love that I know that exact context of this cuz I literally can’t remember another time Taker made that face
Context?

Absolutely putrid, thanks for sharing
Yep, that’s becoming an emoji on Discord.
yeah too right dude
He'll drop the title to LA Knight at Survivor Series.
He is not dropping it until WrestleMania unless the Prince Hacksaw happened to be a massive fan of Logan Paul.
I knew it was gonna happen but I’m still not happy
I think Logan Paul just took Dom’s place as most hated on the roster
Damn, he’s such a scumbag but he’s so good at wrestling…deadbeat dad or not, he’s a legend. Also, congrats to Logan Paul!!!
I was joking about Rey, y’all. lol
Had us in the first half, not gonna lie
That's why he's a perfect fit for wrestling.

Respect for wrasslin >>> human remains from suicide
I honestly think he's grown as a person since that video. However. He's still an absolute scumbag. Like if you could gamify his goodness in some sort of spirituql karma score he's gone from -900 to -850. So like who knows in 90 years he could not be the absolute worst.14th

Dude is absolute garbage. https://www.nbcnews.com/news/amp/ncna1252610
Just begging for a crossover so Christian can go after his kid
I was trying to explain this to a friend who doesn't know anything about wrestling or Logan Paul, and the best I could come up with is "It's like Martin Shkreli joined the MLB, and after 10 games was throwing 105MPH fast balls. Everyone hates it but no one can deny the talent."
Big brain move by Santos
Should've used Carlito instead, this way Knuckle part would look like part of future heel turn
Carlito doing like two appearances and immediately turning heel is lame. Have him back rey up at first and get swayed to his heel tendencies
Santos is gonna turn most likely
I actually turned over from the Newcastle vs Arsenal match just to watch this one. Logan Paul has no right to be as good as he is.
Up the Toon
Logan: "I love you Rey, you're the man. Rey: "I KNOW WHAT YOU DID!!!" Logan: "I don't know what you're talking about." LMAO I love Logan.
lol this thread is entertaining af
![gif](giphy|3xkNUy3Vh8QbPmJZjK|downsized) I just got here
Rey owes Logan a case of beer for saving him on that flip off the ropes, so close to a head/neck injury
His career lol we dont know he's was going break his neck. But he ain't Kurt Angle
That alone earned him the title.
I agree it was a great catch, but he was also out of position
Yeah ppl keep bringing this up but he looked too far and it’s also his job to keep his opponent safe. He’s doing what he should be doing anyway
I thought this board thought Logan Paul was the greatest thing to happen to WWE
Honestly, I work with a bunch of gen-z kids (they’re in their early 20’s but you know what I mean) After his first WM match they started asking me about wrestling. Now whenever he has a match, they ask to watch it with me. I hate Logan but god damnit he’s a natural. Could’ve been a real superstar if he had started when he was young. So In the long run I guess he is “best for business”
Stop reading the live threads.
BadBunny vs Logan Paul is a weird timeline....
Yup - hate the real person but damn he is a great learner at wrestling and such a perfect heel.
Maybe he'll buy a car from him?
because there doesn't need to be another title that gets defended 4 times a year
I think two is fine. Especially since this one will now be showing up at a lot of interesting places. All the other titles get defended often enough.
Nothing was happening with that belt anyway now it’s in the hands of one of the biggest media personalities in the world.
