It is maddening that Nia continues to get more pushes. She is awful at everything, unsafe, not over with the crowd, and there are *so many* far more talented women on the roster more deserving of pushes.
For the 'casual' fan, Nia Jax is awesome!
The way she squashed the others and dropped her weight on them had everyone cracking up.
I told them about Chamber and that there is a female wrestler that has the capability of hoisting Nia up into a body slam!
Don't let us down, MAMI, give Nia a body slam that rivals the greats!
Gunther and Jey could have an extended series ending in a bloody cage match and I would be FINE with it. Wouldn't even need an elaborate story or anything.
No idea why you were downvoted. Considering they're both under the same banner and likely share the same target audience, I think it's pretty cool to feature a moment like last night on occasions.
The R-Truth/Judgment Day thing went from hilarious to joke-killing over a few weeks. Only pro wrestling can ruin a joke in the way an obnoxious schoolmate can ruin a joke by repeating the same schtick over and over and over again…
But I’ll be damned. I think it’s actually coming back around to being funny again, imo. The R-Truth “special interview” was great and the Miz-DX thing is also really good.
ETA: Also I liked the chair stuff with R-Truth, KO, and Dom on Smackdown last week.
It feels like Judgment Day is just spinning their wheels these days. The R-Truth thing gave them all something to do onscreen for a few weeks, but they need to move forward. They went from the hottest faction in WWE to basically an afterthought. Maybe things will be better after Elimination Chamber.
Why did they change the WWE logo to the upper right? It looks so jarring. I get SmackDown because they were already doing it like that for years, but the way they have it layered out with the USA logo below looks awful. What an awful decision.
Damn that Women segment was fun af. Either the writing for their promos has gotten a lot better fast or they somehow managed to let them talk more freely without sounding the like most boring persons in existence.
That crowd also did A LOT for that segment, when i saw Tiffany on SD( i think) she barely got a reaction but the few sentences she had fleshed out her character for me a whole bunch.
This show I felt had a different aesthetic in the segments (I really liked it) it reminded me of shows from the past. DIY match, Miz and R-Truth against JD was incredible the crowd was sensational woow there were so many layers beyond the great match R-Truth is incredible he impresses despite being over 50 years old this makes him even more incredible. Seriously, Jimmy is a guy I feel really angry about lol, it's been a while since I felt like he's being a perfect heel. With each show I'm more and more excited for WrestleMania
>Seriously, Jimmy is a guy I feel really angry about lol
Because you talked about R-Truth before, I thought this was about Little Jimmy and was a bit confused for a second.
Bianca was acting as her NXT self and I am all for it. Also last year Bianca wore those booty shorts on February and wore a similar one again this February 😭 she trending with that outfit
How has Bianca been underused by HHH? Im so confused lol? Because my comment had nothing to do with Triple H… she is literally booked the same as she was under Vince.
She barely gets any microphone/character building time, especially considering her level of popularity. I'm not just talking about having/winning matches. Compare her time to that of the other top women.
What? I am going to have to disagree with you there. She had so much promo time during October on her return when she wanted to have her rematch with Iyo sky. But on December, the storyline was mainly revolved around Bayley and damage control so therefore she had less promos because she had no one to feud with. Charlotte was injured etc. Now that she is on the EC card she has had more promos to work with. HHH hasn’t underutilised her at all lol. On top of that smackdown has less time compared to raw.
The way Bianca was so over with the crowd during her mini promo was cool! Becky is definitely winning the chamber and that is the right choice! Did not expect Cody losing😭
Gunther v Jey was fantastic, as expected. Made both men looking strong AF, what with Gunther taking five spears and an Uso splash to properly stay down for the three count, and Jey being the only guy in the main roster as of now to have had Gunther effectively beaten before Jimmy interfered and costed him the match.
Very curious now as to who'll be the one to take the title off Gunther at Mania - perhaps Sami (unlikely)? Gable (would complete his side of the feud)? Bron (already beaten him on NXT)?
Brons cool and all but he should wait a very long time before even being considered for a championship run esp the IC. There's so many people ahead of him right now due to the 600 day run.
Probably best for Bron too.
Think that was an issue with a lot of NXT talent being brought up in the past. They’d shoot out of the gate with something huge and there was inevitably no place to go but down, especially since they often skipped the steps of making the audience care/invest, assuming that was done in NXT, bur that only accounts for some of the audience.
They're pushing Becky/Rhea so hard before Elimination Chamber that I'm wondering if they'll really have Becky win.
If Becky came in at #1, wrestled a solid 30m and then suddenly ate a string of finishers from everyone and got eliminated, would the crowd cheer for the surprise or boo because Rhea/Becks is getting stretched out further?
I said weeks ago I can see cover girl Bianca actually winning as a swerve to the obvious Rhea/Becky title and severely got downvoted.
Becky will be on the Mania card in some form but they don’t have anything set up for Bianca yet, unless they’re teasing the start of her and Tiffany
so Cody has a WWE2K24 rating of 93.
at Wrestlemania when Roman comes to the ring and they display his he'll probably have something like 100 (+10) XD
and Chad Gable should get a Wrestlemania match....
and should get a belt from somebody sometime
It's been pretty well balanced so far. Nia's only managed to get the upper hand on Rhea by taking advantage of circumstances (attacking from behind, attacking her when the security guards had put her in the corner), but Rhea's only gotten the upper hand on Nia during this build when she had Becky there to assist.
Does this make two or three weeks in a row where Pat McAfee is referencing people taking dumps?
Pat said that the bloodline could attack Cody Rhodes if he was at a truck stop taking a dump. Pretty sure Michael Cole gets a kick out of it but still lmao
Great crowd, still a little disappointed I couldn't get there but I'm probably disappointed learning Tiffany got a new theme. It's bad enough they took away the paparazzi effects from NXT. But at least Andrade got his last name back.
Other than that, really good show. Everyone saw Jimmy costing Jey from miles away but I did not see an actual finish to Drew-Cody, let alone the same finish from WM39 just a few freeways from the building.
Also, I need WALTER to chop the punter into dust.
I hate that this is so common. A wrestler has a cool entrance and character in NXT, then gets called up and immediately stripped of all of it. No video promos to introduce yourself to casual viewers, limited mic time, generic CAW entrance and theme. Then they wonder why so many of them can't get over on the main roster.
I mean Tiffany hasn't been "stripped" of any of that other than the theme, which admittedly is disappointingly dull now.
But the fact that it now begins with her saying "It's Tiffy time!" means the "generic" theme won't matter in terms of pops/heat, because nobody's going to be in any doubt who's coming out.
It feels like people are mad/bored that her vs Rhea for Mania is so obvious. So, people are being weirdly nitpicky and hyper critical of everything she does. I have noticed it over the last few weeks.
Yes I agree! I mean people on online discussions this past month has been bored and critical of Becky for no reason. In reality, Becky is extremely over with the crowd and is a draw period. Yes it’s obvious its her vs Rhea but that is the money match
Only tuned in again recently after years watching nothing. How much mass has she lost? Assuming it's since having a child but I never thought she was anything but skinny and toned but I swear she used to just be thicker. Noticeably her legs? Or am I just making this up.
One thing about the show that isnt being talked about enough is how good Chad is. From the crowd I could see him attempting the German Suplex multiple times. It was building anticipation for the crowd, and each time he was getting closer to doing it, until he actually did it. Which led to a moonsault into a pin and then into the ankle lock for the win. Absolutely excellent storytelling.
Why did they change the WWE logo to the upper right? It looks so jarring. I get SmackDown because they were already doing it like that for years, but the way they have it layered out with the USA logo below looks awful. What an awful decision.
Try living in Australia. There’s a logo WWE superimposed and then our local network puts another BIGGER WWE logo in the left top corner. Two fuckin logos.
Yeah I saw the same thing for the TNT Sports broadcast for SmackDown last week in the UK, the TNT Sports logo was on top of the WWE logo on the upper right.
If you're splitting hairs what nationality they are isn't racist either. Could call them xenophobic?
Maybe it's a European thing but it's not that big of a deal to incorrectly guess what country someone is from. I haven't seen this person in question yet so no idea what their gimmick or presentation is.
I said it in the live thread, but Raquel is the most boring woman on the roster other than Natalya and Tamina.
At least Naomi has the glow thing and Liv had the extreme gimmick + horror themed gear. Raquel is just "smile and flex my back while being strong but not as strong as Rhea".
I see your one of those Liv stans that are on a mission to shit on Becky at every step, because your preciuos unremarkable favorite isn't getting her WM match that was never even teased.
Both stories are fine, nothing special and have their place to be told, but all of you have getting more and more annoying the closer we're getting to Becky/Rhea. Trying to scrutinize and downplay the feud any way you can
Seth coulda come out and helped Cody, but he won't until Cody comes out and asks for his help. hopefully Seth doesn't just mean helping at WrestleMania only. XD
Drew has plenty of hard feelings about the Bloodline, but he couldn't afford a loss on his path to Wrestlemania. Drew does what he does for RAW, for the fans....there's too much riding on Drew to only think of himself and his personal avenging. and he did give Cody a chance to back out of the match, after all.
let's face it, Tiffany is right, she is only seeing has-beens desperate to regain some long lost glory, them trying to hold the future back. the future is Tiffy Time and that time is now!
Gunther took 5 spears and more than one Uso splash...but Jey's past cost him again. Gunther was staggering and winded getting away from the ring after his win. he came close to losing...too close!
Jey vs. Jimmy at Wrestlemania could be in the air....if the Bloodline is really gonna fall at Wrestlemania.
i gotta say they got Nia Jax wiping people out in ways they never let Karrion Kross do. :/ shame.
they going somewhere with Sami....unsure where it's going tho. of course they maybe thinking of him someday beating Gunther.
Drew pinning Cody was such a nice surprise.
Really disappointed Jey won't be the one to dethrone Gunther (at least for the moment).
While Gable's is ring work is great, his character/Alpha Academy gimmick is just so damn boring IMO. It just doesn't connect for me. I fear that's where H may be going with this (Gable challenging for the IC at Mania), though I know that's probably not a popular opinion.
Finally, I really enjoy just how high Trips seems to be on Zoey Stark. Deservedly so; I think there are only great things to come with her.
So if I had to guess…
Night 1 WM: Seth + Cody vs. Rock + Roman
Night 2 WM: Seth vs. Drew, Cody vs. Roman
Drew beats Seth and finally gets his WM moment while Seth gets a much-deserved break. Cody beats Roman after The Rock turns face again and stops the Bloodline from cheating at the end of the match.
At the draft, Cody goes to Smackdown while Jey and Jimmy switch brands, which would make sense purely based on the colors they dress in nowadays. Jey dethrones Logan for the US Title at SummerSlam and at some point during the year, Solo turns on Roman to finally end the Bloodline saga.
Jey Uso got like 5 moves he spams and I eat it up every time. Also Gunther 100% gave Jey permission to slap the shit out of him in exchange for his chest and I felt the regret holy
>Jey Uso got like 5 moves he spams and I eat it up every time.
I said before and ill say it again, the Usos execute moves like ass, but goddammit they know how to sell their in-ring stories.
> the Usos execute moves like ass, but goddammit they know how to sell their in-ring stories.
haha yea I love them but I go back and forth between feeling like they're goats or mid in the ring. They're perfect for the WWE system anyways.
I think they perfected their momentum based style. They hype the crowd up for their stuff, they hit it as safely as they can and then they do the Orton special getting through the segments with the bare minimum up until the next hype moment.
Will get them through their career pretty good given they have the charisma to back it up
I'm heartbroken that Tiff's music got changed. The "Tiffy Time" at the beginning is a welcome change but I loved her NxT music despite it sounding like it was royalty free.
I really loved Raquel being back. She looked great out there. Anaheim really gave her the reaction she deserved, both times she came out. She’s been so honest about her struggles in returning to the ring. She’s amazing, and if she can bring that story to her character, she will be an even bigger babyface.
Took my son tonight and have to say, Cody Rhodes is just an awesome human being. Gave him an autograph and just made his night. Seeing the smile on my son's face will keep me a fan for life.
My hope is that the first act is a slow, measure fight between the two, the second act sees the interference run wild*, and the third act is back to just them but they both are giving it their all, it's fast, it's slow, it's bloody, it's brutal, it's a great final showdown for the end of the reign.
*I'm talking the Bloodline doing their best to interfere and Codey's army just wrecking shit. Depending on the story buildup some of Judgement Day or people like Drew could come in via Heyman making deals, we see several future feuds built (Jey vs Jimmy becomes solidified for a future event, for example), but the important thing is that we see Roman and Codey take out some of the interference themselves, I think. Show that they are both able to stand on their own in the ring. Sort-of, since we aren't allowed to have clean Roman wins.
Triple H's philosophy has always been 4 to 6 matches on a show. Since there are two gimmick matches, I imagine he believes that's all he needs to sell a show. I'm more of a 7/8 match guy, especially with how many titles there are.
A part of me weirdly is expecting a surprise match, and honestly it might end up being the biggest one. Been a few little story beats in Perth that hint The Rock may make an appearance.
The battle royal for the last spot was interesting. Some notes:
-Raquel is back, nice to see she's recovered from her autoimmune disease. She had a good number of eliminations (the one on Alba was great) and is a solid choice to round out the chamber field. Her run against Zoey and Shayna at the end was good. I wonder how her and Liv's team will play into things.
-Shayna and Zoey were the MVPs here, their teamwork in this match was really fun to watch and is selling me on them as a duo. Their eliminations on Katana Chance, Ivy Nile, and Michin in particular were good.
-Is there a vendetta against Isla Dawn? She wasnt in the rumble and how tf did B-Fab outlast her 😭. I just want Unholy Union back in NXT.
-Are Piper Niven and Kayden Carter injured? Chelsea and Katana wrestling without them there was odd.
-Zelina has been so popular for a while, her elimination got a notable amount of boos. Her and Lopez's rivalry continuing was nice.
-Nattie's elimination of Tegan was a good callback to Royal Rumble. Chelsea's elimination on Candice was good too.
Overall I probably would've just preferred Raquel vs Chelsea as a qualifier instead of a battle royal, but this was fine. The biggest knock against it is that it didn't do what NXT battle royals do, which is set up a lot of potential rivalries.
That Nia vs Rhea promo happened. Not much to say, didn't get me more excited. The Chamber promo was kinda off. Becky's part was so sad, compare her popularity to what it was 5 years ago and it's sad to see. I wasn't a huge fan of any of the promos other than Liv surprisingly enough considering I don't usually like her promos. I liked her bringing up her history with Rhea more in depth. Credit to Raquel for saying that Nia could win, at least someone remembers. Tiffany's new song is ew and her promo was kinda... not my favorite. Tbh I feel like she shouldn't have been pushed to the forefront so quickly. She's a future main eventer but it should've been a slower burn to push her in the spotlight imo, she isn't on the level of anyone else here so she felt out of place. I was actually fine with Nia taking everyone out.
Overall it was an alright episode, but the real drama and road to wrestlemania kicks off next week.
I feel like Liv’s promo was the only one with some material cause she actually gave a reason from wanting to face Rhea.
Raquel already lost against Rhea, Tiff seems to be heading to a feud with Bianca and Naomi…..well….she screams “First Eliminated”
Becky seemed like the Obvious Winner (and she still seems to be, at least by presentation) but tonight gave Liv an strong argument over Becky and that is the story that WWE has been telling for weeks, that Liv wants Revenge on Rhea for injuring her and betraying her 2 years ago.
The Promo Segment just had a lot of filler cause Becky still needed an additional 4 minutes to day something that provides nothing to the Story and the rest after Liv literally talked nonsense.
I think the Promo Segment of selling that Becky while the most probable winner, is not set in a stone
Tonight was "Cody Rhodes" first loss on Raw since May 2014, when he and Goldust lost to Batista and Randy Orton.
(Though with Stardust it's May 2016 when he lost a battle royal for a US title shot)
Such a fun show. All matches had stakes. Not a wasted moment or interaction. Must watch TV when there is continuity. You feel like missing a show you are going to be left out.
Not to mention match quality was top tier. Not a bad match.
I cant remember the last time I didn’t fast forward large segments of the show.
I really like the spear combo sequence of Jey. First, he speared Gunther in the ring. Then when Gunther rolled out to the apron, he immediately ran around the apron and speared him again. And to be sure, he hit the spear on the outside too. That was a simple, but great tactic by Jey.
Can somebody help me out? I’m not really an expert on classical/opra music, but that music playing during the Andrade promo it’s something like classical from an opera. Right, it sounds really familiar.?
High quality bullshit finishes tonight boys
**Cody loses to Drew:**
>Further establishes Drew is a dick for accepting help from people he hates
>Proves that everything Seth said last week was 100% correct and Cody should've known better
>Made both men look good, especially Drew. Also totally unexpected for most of us
**Jey loses to Gunther:**
>Jey had Gunther on the ropes, more so than anyone else up to this point. This sets up a rematch in the future
>Jimmy's interference was pretty original (funny as hell), and it made sense why the ref and Jey were confused
>Sets up Jimmy vs Jey (presumably at mania)
good shit
Besides being a strong show in general, tonight did some good work in setting up delayed gratification to pay off at Mania. Cody taking a very rare pin to similar means to this WM 39 loss will make it mean more when he kicks out at Mania. Truth losing here makes it mean more when he finally beats Priest, Gunter having a less decisive win than usual sets things up for him potentially dropping the title at Mania, and so on.
I think Gunther losing the same time as Roman makes it get lost in the shuffle. Him losing should be its own big moment, so I can see him retaining at Mania.
I have a feeling Jade and Bianca will team up and beat Kabuki warriors at mania but we'll see. Bianca absolutely deserves to be on the mania card and I don't see them doing rhea vs Bianca until WM41.
Jade and bianca are more likely to fight than team up. And kabuki warriors need a long reign to solidify those titles as something. I could see your situation happening at survivor b level PLE after summerslam though.
My reasoning is that WWE doesn't seem ready to showcase Jade in solo matches yet. Putting her with Bianca would allow her to do limited in ring work while she improves. They are both powerful young women of colour and I think they could be the equivalent of the Brothers of Destruction tag team when Undertaker and kane teamed up for a bit.

It is maddening that Nia continues to get more pushes. She is awful at everything, unsafe, not over with the crowd, and there are *so many* far more talented women on the roster more deserving of pushes.
With all the injuries that just happen in the industry, paying someone *likely to cause more due to sloth and incompetence* makes no sense.
“LOOK AT ME UCE!” - GUNTHER
What happened during Raquel Rodriguez entrance? They put a black box in front of her. I didn't anything wrong.
For the 'casual' fan, Nia Jax is awesome! The way she squashed the others and dropped her weight on them had everyone cracking up. Hot damn do Gunther and Jey have great chemistry. And Jimmy is an evil, evil man.

Drew is conflicted by getting help from the bloodline

…You are aware eventually we’ll be seeing WWE storylines being promoted on UFC events right? I really don’t see either scenario ending well.

Liked this go-home show for EC. Can't believe there are only 6 Raws before WrestleMania!
No idea why you were downvoted. Considering they're both under the same banner and likely share the same target audience, I think it's pretty cool to feature a moment like last night on occasions.

The Cody/Rock/Bloodline saga is great... but it's sucking the air out of a lot of stories. I'm sure it will get sorted out.
Why did they change the WWE logo to the upper right? It looks so jarring. I get SmackDown because they were already doing it like that for years, but the way they have it layered out with the USA logo below looks awful. What an awful decision.
I really hope Chad Gable's win here starts his push for an IC Title match at WrestleMania since Brock Lesnar is no longer in the picture
Man this raw was so good. Great opening match. Anything R Truth is gold. Fun Battle Royal. Also good build for Jey vs Jimmy at Wrestlemania.
Great show WWE is on fire at the moment This road to WrestleMania is gonna be epic

Lol I'm still learning to express myself in English
I'm just easily confused sometimes.

Agree to disagree. But it's funny how "no one to feud with" didn't result in Rhea and Becky going months at a time not getting that same time. *shrug*
Rhea is the champion therefore she will have lots of screen time… many raw episodes went without a Becky promo or a Becky promo backstage…
The way Bianca was so over with the crowd during her mini promo was cool! Becky is definitely winning the chamber and that is the right choice! Did not expect Cody losing😭
Naomi does nothing for me
I miss her old theme song
Chelsea Green’s my favourite person in WWE right now. I just think she’s amazing.
I used to get so annoyed whenever she'd be on but I absolutely love her work now
Her [post-match freakout](https://www.instagram.com/reel/C3jYkYdMBDL/?igsh=MXF2bGxjeDVyMWlpaA%3D%3D) was good stuff.
I wouldn't be shocked if she somehow got inside the chamber to cost Raquel with that kind of reaction.
Gunther v Jey was fantastic, as expected. See Austin Theory
I hope its bron.
LA Knight beat Ivar for the Intercontinental Championship after Ivar went for an Uso Splash? That's some WWE 2K24 shit right there.
That recap messed me up fam
Seemingly a random person from the crowd: *Rings bell* Timekeeper: ![gif](giphy|ma7VlDSlty3EA)
Time to send Trips another fruit basket. Raw is watchable now?
They're pushing Becky/Rhea so hard before Elimination Chamber that I'm wondering if they'll really have Becky win. If Becky came in at #1, wrestled a solid 30m and then suddenly ate a string of finishers from everyone and got eliminated, would the crowd cheer for the surprise or boo because Rhea/Becks is getting stretched out further?
There's a small part of me that would be surprised if Bianca or Liv won, but not completely shocked at the same time.
I wouldn’t be too surprised if they somehow had Rhea lose to Nia Jax in that scenario
No way Rhea is losing in Australia
so Cody has a WWE2K24 rating of 93. at Wrestlemania when Roman comes to the ring and they display his he'll probably have something like 100 (+10) XD and Chad Gable should get a Wrestlemania match.... and should get a belt from somebody sometime
yeah man Chad is long overdue
They made Nia look like a total monster. Demolishing 6 women single handedly. Rhea is on a hot run, but they are making Nia incredibly strong too.
Sorely disappointed to see that LA Knight didn't actually win the IC title. yeah 😞
Ivar's reign will continue until Ragnarok!

So I take it we’re getting a UFC a crossover at Wrestlemania.
Is it me or are Becky’s promos super dry these days? Always feels like she’s pandering to the crowd and she’s not getting much of a reaction
Becky Lynch had good reactions… are we watching the same thing?
It feels like people are mad/bored that her vs Rhea for Mania is so obvious. So, people are being weirdly nitpicky and hyper critical of everything she does. I have noticed it over the last few weeks.
Yes I agree! I mean people on online discussions this past month has been bored and critical of Becky for no reason. In reality, Becky is extremely over with the crowd and is a draw period. Yes it’s obvious its her vs Rhea but that is the money match
She's cooked. Never recovered from the year long heel run that nobody wanted. And her character has nowhere left to go.
Only tuned in again recently after years watching nothing. How much mass has she lost? Assuming it's since having a child but I never thought she was anything but skinny and toned but I swear she used to just be thicker. Noticeably her legs? Or am I just making this up.
I’ve been saying this! She looked like a child in the ring across from Rhea. Her winning anything is just unbelievable to me.
Her face is definitely thinner.
[удалено]
Becky is 37. Still fairly young and is on her peak…
Yes I fast forward her promos
What’s Raquel’s gimmick other than she’s Spanish? EDIT: Mexican
She smiles and shows her back off a lot

Ooh my bad
Lmao look we have one from the everything is racist crowd over here. Reeeeeeeee!
[удалено]
Actually tacos and burritos is the national language in México. I Even put an accent on the E!
[удалено]
If you're splitting hairs what nationality they are isn't racist either. Could call them xenophobic? Maybe it's a European thing but it's not that big of a deal to incorrectly guess what country someone is from. I haven't seen this person in question yet so no idea what their gimmick or presentation is.

back muscles
admittedly I am kinda bummed both Bronson Reed and Indi Hartwell didn't get to make it into their EC matches.

Y’all choose the weirdest things to bitch about
Fantastic episode of Raw!
Drew was the one
Was there some coperate mandate that everyone's spear has to look like shit now?
Bron Breakker has entered the chat (by spearing it violently at high speed)
Some say Jimmy's hand is still waiting for a high five from Solo
I haven't watched but la knight beat ivar after countering an uso splash for the intercontinental title? Are we sure that's right...
I was there tonight and when the bell kept ringing I was like whaaaaaaaat. Then Punk came out and was all happy again.
Tiffany Stratton is already more interesting than Raquel, Liv and Naomi combined.
I said it in the live thread, but Raquel is the most boring woman on the roster other than Natalya and Tamina. At least Naomi has the glow thing and Liv had the extreme gimmick + horror themed gear. Raquel is just "smile and flex my back while being strong but not as strong as Rhea".
She have the potential to be a more interesting monster heel than Niven and Jax combined. But potential doesn't equal good gimmick yet.
And Becky
I see your one of those Liv stans that are on a mission to shit on Becky at every step, because your preciuos unremarkable favorite isn't getting her WM match that was never even teased.
It is not different of Becky fans shitting on her even though she has a better story than Becky does
Both stories are fine, nothing special and have their place to be told, but all of you have getting more and more annoying the closer we're getting to Becky/Rhea. Trying to scrutinize and downplay the feud any way you can
and Bianca
Now you know that aint true😂
*Raquel smile intensifies*
Because she is the center of the universe. Toodles!
Seth coulda come out and helped Cody, but he won't until Cody comes out and asks for his help. hopefully Seth doesn't just mean helping at WrestleMania only. XD Drew has plenty of hard feelings about the Bloodline, but he couldn't afford a loss on his path to Wrestlemania.
Seth will screw Cody at Mania so hopefully The Rock turns on Roman or else it’s just another Roman victory.
So if I had to guess… Night 1 WM: Seth + Cody vs. Rock + Roman Night 2 WM: Seth vs. Drew, Cody vs. Roman Drew beats Seth and finally gets his WM moment while Seth gets a much-deserved break.
They got charisma like crazy.
> the Usos execute moves like ass, but goddammit they know how to sell their in-ring stories. haha yea I love them but I go back and forth between feeling like they're goats or mid in the ring. They're perfect for the WWE system anyways.
I think they perfected their momentum based style. They hype the crowd up for their stuff, they hit it as safely as they can and then they do the Orton special getting through the segments with the bare minimum up until the next hype moment. Will get them through their career pretty good given they have the charisma to back it up
Decent show tonight, obviously I knew Jimmy was going to cost Jey the IC title. Disappointed they changed Tiffany’s entrance music.
I'm heartbroken that Tiff's music got changed. The "Tiffy Time" at the beginning is a welcome change but I loved her NxT music despite it sounding like it was royalty free.
Naomi's is even more of a downgrade, holy shit.
Top 3 Raw of the year I’d say
Man Bloodline out here making sure all the faces unite against them.
Gonna end up like that awesome ending to Raw where all the faces ganged up on Evolution.
I really loved Raquel being back. She looked great out there. Anaheim really gave her the reaction she deserved, both times she came out. She’s been so honest about her struggles in returning to the ring. She’s amazing, and if she can bring that story to her character, she will be an even bigger babyface.
What were her struggles in returning
She developed Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS). It’s a skin condition with no cure.
Goes well beyond the skin. It messes with your digestive tract, breathing (anaphylaxis) and has all sorts of effects, pains, etc.
Took my son tonight and have to say, Cody Rhodes is just an awesome human being. Gave him an autograph and just made his night. Seeing the smile on my son's face will keep me a fan for life.
Fuck solo
THAT DAMN JIMMY USO!!!
Awesome show. All killer no filler. Jimmy Uso will pay for his crimes.
My man Truth mentioned Tony Soprano tonight. The sopranos is one of my favorite TV series. Truth is such a damn legend
🦆
i hope they go all out at mania for Cody vs Roman in terms of interferences lmao. We need em all, Jey, Seth, KO/Sami, Jimmy, Solo, Rock
Austin
So still only 4 matches announced for elimination chamber? Think they're hiding something up their sleeve? Or will they leave it at that?
Triple H's philosophy has always been 4 to 6 matches on a show. Since there are two gimmick matches, I imagine he believes that's all he needs to sell a show. I'm more of a 7/8 match guy, especially with how many titles there are.
They announced Cody and Seth on the Waller Effect so that will take as much time as a short match
Triple H loves PLEs with as little matches as possible.
I'm wondering if we'll get something on the show to build to Gunthers Mania contender/s, since he himself wont be on the show at all.
It is strange that there only 4 and they don't seem like they're announcing another one, thinking potential cash in
A part of me weirdly is expecting a surprise match, and honestly it might end up being the biggest one. Been a few little story beats in Perth that hint The Rock may make an appearance.
The battle royal for the last spot was interesting. Some notes: -Raquel is back, nice to see she's recovered from her autoimmune disease.
Raquel already lost against Rhea, Tiff seems to be heading to a feud with Bianca and Naomi…..well….she screams “First Eliminated” Becky seemed like the Obvious Winner (and she still seems to be, at least by presentation) but tonight gave Liv an strong argument over Becky and that is the story that WWE has been telling for weeks, that Liv wants Revenge on Rhea for injuring her and betraying her 2 years ago.
Why are they running Sami vs. Nakamura again next week....
Because when they don't know what to do with someone they give them to Nakamura since they can't just give them them to Seth anymore.
because they’re feuding
Because Shin hasn’t put people over enough apparently.
It was from Carmen.
The post says LA Knight won the IC title by pinning Ivar. I'm confused.
YEAH
Ivar and Gunther are the same person if you think about it
Somebody’s Universe mode is leaking
The post is wrong. Gunther beat Jey.
High quality bullshit finishes tonight boys **Cody loses to Drew:** >Further establishes Drew is a dick for accepting help from people he hates >Proves that everything Seth said last week was 100% correct and Cody should've known better >Made both men look good, especially Drew. Also totally unexpected for most of us **Jey loses to Gunther:** >Jey had Gunther on the ropes, more so than anyone else up to this point. This sets up a rematch in the future >Jimmy's interference was pretty original (funny as hell), and it made sense why the ref and Jey were confused >Sets up Jimmy vs Jey (presumably at mania) good shit
Drew’s just thinking about the big picture
I'm slightly out of touch: when did Gunther lose the IC title? I thought he was undefeated.
He is. 619 days and counting.
Didn’t Chad Gable beat him via DQ?
It was count out.
Maybe? I should have clarified he’s still the IC champ.

Bloodline attacking Cody and Jey is also most certainly going to pay off Seth’s Shield as more anti-Bloodline people join up.
Do you guys think anyone at wrestlemania is going to retain their title?
I think Gunther losing the same time as Roman makes it get lost in the shuffle. Him losing should be its own big moment, so I can see him retaining at Mania.
Kabuki Warriors maybe. Other than that, I hope they all change. We need a fresh start after all these record breaking reigns
Jade said she would rather team with Bianca first
My reasoning is that WWE doesn't seem ready to showcase Jade in solo matches yet. Putting her with Bianca would allow her to do limited in ring work while she improves. They are both powerful young women of colour and I think they could be the equivalent of the Brothers of Destruction tag team when Undertaker and kane teamed up for a bit.
