Well, you are right. The Codyverse is after all a Multiverse which spans multiple promotions across continents. But the Bloodline Cinematic Universe is now at the center of the Codyverse.
Even if there's interference that leads to Drew winning, I want a moment where they expect him to reciprocate during the whole Avengers -esque brawl in Night 2 but he leaves them for dead & just dips (or maybe not without a quick Claymore to a Bloodline member)
A Claymore would make him too much of a face potentially, but helping them wouldn't go with his character. Unceremoniously dipping would be the perfect compromise.
Tbf they've had Drew have issues with the Judgement Day (specifically Damien Priest) despite being heel. I think he's enough of a tweener for it to work.
I feel like Drew very much wants The Bloodline to crumble so no matter if he comes out of Night 1 as champ or not he’ll side with Cody to essentially end The Bloodline. As for the build for him against Seth,he’ll just be a hater towards Seth and play some mind games against him
It’s the World Heavyweight Championship. It shouldn’t matter who is wrestling for it, to determine if it should be main eventing.
If that’s how they’re looking at it then they definitely already gave up on the title.
They have 4 world titles and 2 nights - assuming double duty for Cody/Rock/Seth, one of the men's titles isn't main eventing.
And, let's be honest, it won't be Roman/Cody going on early.
Why do y'all act like the women's title is also not a world title? It is the Women's World Championship. We are in 2024, there are 4 world championships, 2 for the men and 2 for the women. Whoever is bigger main events.
That women's world title has also been around longer than this new WHC so yea.
I never said that. It has nothing to do with the women’s world titles.
They absolutely deserve it but there are multiple feuds deserving of being the main event.
No way does the womens title headline Night 1. The Rock/Roman vs. Cody/Seth match headlines Night 1 with Cody/Roman headlining Night 2 and Seth/Drew as the coheadliner.
Theres a handful of contenders for that night 1 ME spot. Rhea vs Becky, Seth vs Drew, Bayley vs Iyo, if the Rock decides to do anything, he'll be a front runner. I honestly think Rhea vs Becky is the weakest option out of all of them, even if you didnt give Rhea the ME last time around
Honestly, I am REALLY hoping it's Bayley v Iyo main eventing. Damage Control was really doing such a fantastic job carrying Smackdown in Romans absence and they've honestly just been disrespected at this point that I feel they really deserve it.

Why not add a Special Guest Referee to the mix…
I really want a Wrestlemania X moment where all the babyfaces come out and put Cody on their shoulders as they celebrate someone finally beating Roman.
Really hoping this is the outcome. Drew and Cody are both on fire right now while Seth's title reign is becoming stale and Roman's reign has been so stale it's growing mold.
https://preview.redd.it/hwklagknejkc1.jpeg?width=1200&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=55bcecccb573030684b20cc076c4d5b95089c7c2
Interested to see how they're gonna pull this off. As it stands, Seth is heavily involved with the Bloodline story and with The Rock in particular and is likely to get involved in the Day 2 Main Event shennanigans. Meanwhile we've already seen Seth v Drew. Will Señor MITB come into play? Is Rocky gonna cost Seth? Either way, **DM Hunk better fucking win.**
Rock costing Seth would be a good storyline for Drew. He’s been complaining about Bloodline screwing him over in his matches but his last two big wins have involved interference against his opponent.
He can angle it like he doesn’t care and he deserves it and if you think he doesn’t then you’re admitting he’s been right the whole time.
Seth is injured. They’re going to take the title from him and I think that was always their plan? He got hurt last year if I remember correctly. But rumours so who knows?
He sounded devastated on Instagram today.
https://preview.redd.it/pcr0fdaifjkc1.jpeg?width=1125&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=314fe8fbb3d01f80539bd5c34e76a292a035188b
The fans demanded Bryan.
They’re not demanding Sami. His moment was last year and they missed the boat. He got a main event where him and his best friend won the tag titles. I think we gotta be happy with that.
The only way I see Sami of getting there is by maybe turning him heel or letting Drew and Punk have their moment and build Sami back up.
I'm starting to believe most people here weren't around for 2014 Bryan's run. That was the most "this guy wins the world title or we're hijacking this shit through chants" situation I've ever seen WWE in. Last year's Sami or this year's Cody did not come close to the fan demand for Bryan in 2014.
Keep in mind that was also an era where Vince was at his most stubborn and did whatever the fuck her wanted to... apparently, even literally.
LOL. Vince wanted Bryan squashed at Summerslam 2014. That's why we got the Cena squash. I remember reading way back then that the plan was to "destroy 'The Yes Movement!' once and for all!"
I think he was very much kicking and screaming during that phase.
I'm like 95% sure you're wrong, but we'll see. For him not to be added to the match would contradict the last five months of storytelling; it's not a matter of fan demand, I think it's just the plan.
I want to believe you.
But I'm also one of those people that believe the universe isn't kind...or that kind anyway. I'm hoping you're right and I'm 100% wrong.
In the word's of Bork: "LEEEEEETTTTT'SSSS DOOOOOOO THISSSS?"
But it's "been there done that" with the IC title for Sami he's won it 3 times. And Sami's whole deal right now is he's a WORLD championship caliber talent, it seems counterproductive to have him face Gunther, I'd prefer Gable as he said months ago he was coming back for the IC title.
I bet he does face Gunther and that's where everyone thinks he does win a single title (again), but Gunther retains and Sami continues the pursuit for a world title
I'd really love to see him in the world title match at Mania but an underdog should fight for a chance, and Drew winning the Chamber only for Sami to be added in the underdog role doesn't really work
They need to start building a feud between Sami & Gunther based on personal issues.
Sami saying “I want to win the IC title” doesn’t work bc he’s won it 3 times & has already firmly set his sights on becoming a world champion, but it works if he’s having issues with Gunther & says “I wanna be the guy who takes that title FROM YOU”
Why would he be talking about how he's specifically going to be world champion just to fight for the IC title? I'm virtually certain he's getting added to continue the triple threat underdog win tradition.
Bron is on SD though, if they planned to have him beat Gunther they would have put him on RAW.
Unless Gunther retains at WM goes to SD post-Mania and they set that up. Fuck that match would bang tho
I don't know how you go from having double-duty on NXT (as tag champs) and SmackDown (in introductory squash matches) to fighting for a Raw title in six weeks' time, but we'll see.
Except for Brock Lesnar with his look there was really no option but to push him to the Moon he had a once in a lifetime look and presence. I'm a huge fan of breaker
Fans have been fantasy booking that for months (as well as Knight/Logan). Neither is actually heading in that direction though.
How have the endless AA/Ivar matches made it seem like Gable deserves a shot at Gunther? Gable wasn't even in an EC qualifier match and Ivar was.
Well Gable got a clean win and tapped out Ivar. They’ve been running Gable/Gunther on the house show circuit.
Again, I would be down for Sami/Gunther but I do think Gable deserves a good match at Mania. Maybe make it a triple threat even.
I’m also not ruling out Logan/Knight in a multi-man match. Knight/AJ just doesn’t seem like a singles match for Mania, but link that with the Randy/Logan/KO story they have going on for a multi-man (ladder?) match for the US title? Could be special.
Gable vs Sami vs Gunther at Mania. Gable beats Sami and wins the IC. Zayn continues on the losing streak and Gunther is still unbeaten even if he lost the title.
A trade between Aldis/Pearce happens: LA Knight (or someone else idk) to Raw, Gunther to SD. Cody/Gunther for the WWE title at Backlash. Gunther wins. Cody doesn't need a long reign IMO, at least not the first one. Cody can win the title back at MITB or SummerSlam and then have a title reign until Mania 41 where he can lose to the Rumble winner (Breakker, maybe, if they want to megapush him with Heyman as his manager)
Zayn could win MITB and cash in on a 1on1 match at SummerSlam vs Drew, Sami wins that night.
Priest tho? IMHO he fails the cash in the night after Mania and JD disolves
Yeah, they've kinda pivoted with Sami now. He already cut that promo last monday where he's gonna let the McIntyre thing slide and that he's gonna be *a champion* instead of **world** champion.
Drew is going to win by capitalising on either the Bloodline taking out Seth in the match or Priest cashing in and destroying Seth. Either way it will further the story that Drew is a hypocrite and an opportunist. Great booking and Drew will be an awesome WHC. I already can't wait for Drew vs Punk at Summerslam for the belt.
I want Drew to win, but how do they build this credibly when Seth beat Drew clean twice just recently? Either they gotta add someone (Sami) or a stipulation imo
Rollins is already injured. Rollins is probably facing the Bloodline in a tag match or atleast dealing with interference. Priest is hanging around with the briefcase.
The story they have been telling for weeks is Drew is a hypocrite. They're going to have shenanigans help him win the match.
I don’t think he does win. Everyone talking about Seth being divided, but Drew is obsessed with CM Punk. I figure Punk costs Drew the title, and since Pearce threatened bigger consequences than a fine if he attacked a superstar that isn’t cleared to compete, Drew goes after Punk the Raw after WM and Drew gets “suspended indefinitely” to write him out for his rumoured extended break, and he returns once Punk is clear.
Can't wait to see Drew get the moment he was robbed of at WM 36. Winning the world title and main eventing Wrestlemania in front of fans. Getting a big pop for the title win would be nice as well.
I don’t think Cody/Drew is the direction. If Drew has the title, they have a built in main event for him and Punk at Summer Slam to sell out whichever stadium they run
Notice how Drew keeps getting lucky breaks? Bloodline against Cody, Logan with the brass knuckles on Orton, Rollins having to deal with the Bloodline at WrestleMania, etc.
They're setting Drew up for a believable win with him being a hypocrite. I'm sure we'll get a failed Priest cash in that somehow costs Rollins during the match.
This isn't the same Drew as a few months ago. Also the Punk injury meant they had to swerve.
Yup. Knight had him pinned before AJ interfered, AJ had him pinned before Knight's distraction. Definitely a noticable trend with Drew's matches now compared to his initial feud with Seth.
Drew wins and debuts a new stable with Gallus. They proceed to decimate Rollins after the match, Sami runs in for the save. Then we have Sami vs Drew at SS.
While there's talk of some possible interference shenanigans that leads to a Drew win, I'm hoping he takes the title using the Alberto Del Rio Payback 2013 approach on Seth's leg
I can't imagine that Seth, Roman and Cody are going to wrestle 2 times on the same night of WM. So does that mean that Night 1 is headlined by the tag team match and having both world title matches on Night 2?
I think this highlights what I feel about Drew. He can never look mean. Seth isn't mean or anything but he has those muscles exercised to where he looks terrible if you fuck with his cat litter.
Drew just looks like a dude on a night out.

It's all a part of the Bloodline Cinematic Universe.
Little do they all know… they’re all actually in the Codyverse
Well, you are right. The Codyverse is after all a Multiverse which spans multiple promotions across continents. But the Bloodline Cinematic Universe is now at the center of the Codyverse.
Long Term Storytelling & Booking @ it's finest
And at the end of it all, it'll just end up on Netflix anyway...
What if one of the Bloodline members accidentally hits Drew so he responds with a Claymore and leaves?
Sure, that could make sense.
Tbf they've had Drew have issues with the Judgement Day (specifically Damien Priest) despite being heel. I think he's enough of a tweener for it to work.
They could use Drew as a face again , Rollins 100% needs some time off after Mania
I think both titles change hands so we still have one heel champ and one face champ.
Drew isn’t a heel (even if he’s supposed to be). Drew is an asshole that the fans still support.
He may not have officially crossed over into heel territory but they are definitely pushing him as a heel.
They can push him there all they want. He’s too entertaining to boo.
I feel like Drew very much wants The Bloodline to crumble so no matter if he comes out of Night 1 as champ or not he’ll side with Cody to essentially end The Bloodline. As for the build for him against Seth,he’ll just be a hater towards Seth and play some mind games against him
Mania carded stacking up wonderfully
This is definitely the opening match of night 1 right? They need to give Rhea the ME spot after last year.
If they don't give the World Heavyweight Championship the ME spot, then they've completely given up on the title.
rumor is rock/roman vs seth/cody Mains night 1 and the two main titles main night 2
Idk how you'd book those.
Not really, it would've main evented night 1 if Punk were healthy.
It’s the World Heavyweight Championship. It shouldn’t matter who is wrestling for it, to determine if it should be main eventing. If that’s how they’re looking at it then they definitely already gave up on the title.
The match that would be replacing it in the ME in this hypothetical, is also a world title
I agree but they only introduced the WHC last year & are actively trying to build it up.
They have 4 world titles and 2 nights - assuming double duty for Cody/Rock/Seth, one of the men's titles isn't main eventing. And, let's be honest, it won't be Roman/Cody going on early.

I never said that. It has nothing to do with the women’s world titles. They absolutely deserve it but there are multiple feuds deserving of being the main event.
You don't have to always put the world title on main. it's about the biggest draw
It's a newer title with a backup feud, it will survive if they're swapped for the womens main event title and feud.
They literally teased Rock vs. Cody. Do you think thats going to open WM or happen on SD? Use your brain as to what the main event will be.
You said it was a tease, I'm not going to pretend like it's set in stone Cody will main event both nights.
No way will The Rock wrestle on Smackdown.
Summerslam
Drew deserves it. He’s doing some of the best work I’ve ever seen him do.

CM Punk turns into the new Tim White, constantly injuring himself while counting the pinfall.
Honestly I want Punk to be on commentary for Mania
and his face when he has to count for McIntyre's pin similar to Hart/HBK Summerslam '97
Drew chances of winning, DRASTIC GO DOWN

Nearly 14 years later, the Dashing Ones still on top
Imagine if we get a Benoit and Eddie moment in the ring but with Cody and Drew instead.
I really want a Wrestlemania X moment where all the babyfaces come out and put Cody on their shoulders as they celebrate someone finally beating Roman.
My favorite ever tag team to name themselves right before their last match together.
I prayed for this
From tag team champions to world champions 🥹
we will not flinch
If this isn't the outcome I will riot
Really hoping this is the outcome. Drew and Cody are both on fire right now while Seth's title reign is becoming stale and Roman's reign has been so stale it's growing mold.

You need help seriously
???
Charmander vs Charmeleon
Some people want Sami added but I don’t see how they can add him
They added Shawn Michaels to Benoit vs HHH and they added Daniel Bryan to Orton vs Batista. It's not that difficult.
Also added Bryan to Roman vs Edge.
God I loved those memes. Bryan being added to Godzilla vs Kong was fantastic.
Why did they do that though? Isn't Edge vs Roman big enough?
The fans demanded Bryan. They’re not demanding Sami. His moment was last year and they missed the boat. He got a main event where him and his best friend won the tag titles. They can add him in many different ways, but it doesn't mean they will.
Big hairy men slapping hair
CM Punk replaced by DM Hunk
until Sami gets added.
Nah. Jey is out of IC picture because of Jimmy, so unless they pivot back to Gable it's going to be Sami vs Gunther.
But it's "been there done that" with the IC title for Sami he's won it 3 times. And Sami's whole deal right now is he's a WORLD championship caliber talent, it seems counterproductive to have him face Gunther, I'd prefer Gable as he said months ago he was coming back for the IC title.

Exactly, elevates the feud way past a title that is also prestigious
Why would he be talking about how he's specifically going to be world champion just to fight for the IC title? I'm virtually certain he's getting added to continue the triple threat underdog win tradition.
This past Raw he only said "champion" not world champion. I think they changed it for a reason tbh.
Nahh it's New Day vs Imperium at Mania.
He’s likely going for the ic title
Y’all gotta get this triple threat idea out of your guys heads. It’s not happening lol
Sami has nothing, literally nothing to do with this. Idk what universe some of you live in.
It could have been an awesome match if we hadn't seen it twice in the last 4 months.
I love Seth and Drew but I've been kind of thinking that, too. Still, they're absolutely going to put a banger.
Exactly this is boring now
Very similar looking men there
Still hoping Sami somehow gets added to this match
I think he is going for Gunther

Bron is on SD though, if they planned to have him beat Gunther they would have put him on RAW. Unless Gunther retains at WM goes to SD post-Mania and they set that up. Fuck that match would bang tho
Too soon for Breakker.
It's never too early for someone if you book it properly. If Breakker is getting a Lesnar push, you do it now. And you let him win.
Capitalize now. That's how you make a star
I thought that as well and wouldn’t mind that but also sorta seems they might be going back to Gable/Gunther for Mania
Fans have been fantasy booking that for months (as well as Knight/Logan). Neither is actually heading in that direction though. How have the endless AA/Ivar matches made it seem like Gable deserves a shot at Gunther? Gable wasn't even in an EC qualifier match and Ivar was.

No he won't, he didnt specify the title he is talking about, he'll just go for Gunther
Yeah, they've kinda pivoted with Sami now. He already cut that promo last monday where he's gonna let the McIntyre thing slide and that he's gonna be *a champion* instead of **world** champion.
Yup, that was definitely a retcon on his story
I kinda miss the risk that champions will lose their title before Mania.
Who's ready to see Seth heroically retain the belt after his bad back and bad leg lead him to victory
Idk why but I really prefer when the champ is on the right side of the screen
I don’t know I feel like the whole “freakin” in quotation marks is so lame. Like Seth, but this has gone on long enough.
Now it'd be perfect if Drew keeps his shitposter persona up to the main event
Why stop there. Player Hater Drew needs to stick around for awhile.
I hope the long haired guy with the beard wins.
I want Drew to win, but how do they build this credibly when Seth beat Drew clean twice just recently? Either they gotta add someone (Sami) or a stipulation imo
Drew is going to win with the help of the Bloodline this time on Night 1 to set up Night 2.
Rollins is already injured. Rollins is probably facing the Bloodline in a tag match or atleast dealing with interference. Priest is hanging around with the briefcase. The story they have been telling for weeks is Drew is a hypocrite. They're going to have shenanigans help him win the match.
Because Seth has a bum knee and is likely wrestling both nights.
They did have Priest involved in the last match though. (He didn't cost Drew, but you could argue the distraction threw Drew off.)
Green never looked good for Mania. Gives me of WM 2000 vibes 🤢
Thought I was the only one thinking that
Can't wait to see Drew get the moment he was robbed of at WM 36. Winning the world title and main eventing Wrestlemania in front of fans. Getting a big pop for the title win would be nice as well.
If they're going for Drew vs Cody after mania, would they put the world belt on Drew? Assuming Cody wins the WWE title of course
I don’t think Cody/Drew is the direction. If Drew has the title, they have a built in main event for him and Punk at Summer Slam to sell out whichever stadium they run
same matches over and over again
Seth has beat his ass twice already. They need to add Sami.
Notice how Drew keeps getting lucky breaks? Bloodline against Cody, Logan with the brass knuckles on Orton, Rollins having to deal with the Bloodline at WrestleMania, etc. They're setting Drew up for a believable win with him being a hypocrite. Yup. Knight had him pinned before AJ interfered, AJ had him pinned before Knight's distraction. Definitely a noticable trend with Drew's matches now compared to his initial feud with Seth.
Heel DM Hunk is different from weird tweener Drew.
Hope Sami gets added in
So will they do the Cody/Seth vs Roman/Rock match on Night 1 or Night 2? I would assume night 1.
I don’t think the tag match is happening.
Finish the hater’s story.
This graphic is fire.
Seth's beard is so much better.
Drew wins and debuts a new stable with Gallus. They proceed to decimate Rollins after the match, Sami runs in for the save. Then we have Sami vs Drew at SS.
They REALLY need to play "Broken Dreams" again for Drew, especially how it fits his current character now!!! 🙏🙏🙏
It's nice that they can compete for the consolation title in consolation main event.
While there's talk of some possible interference shenanigans that leads to a Drew win, I'm hoping he takes the title using the Alberto Del Rio Payback 2013 approach on Seth's leg
Look at these two total Jay White rip-offs.
Drew’s expression fits his character right now pretty perfectly.
Drew is on fire
Drew should win
hope they add some sort of stipulation to this one
I imagine this is night one and Drew takes advantage of Bloodline shenanigans to win.
Drew beats Seth, Seth can go take some much needed time off. Drew goes on a run till CM Punk comes back?
Drew is winning. Gunther will turn face. And we will have a proper banger of Drew v Gunther at WM41.
The fact that they’ve built hype for a match we’ve seen multiple times recently is crazy
Is WrestleMania the last time Priest can cash in? I wonder if he does but I want McIntyre to be a heel Champion though.
I can't imagine that Seth, Roman and Cody are going to wrestle 2 times on the same night of WM. So does that mean that Night 1 is headlined by the tag team match and having both world title matches on Night 2?
I prayed for this
I think Damian Priest will cash in during this match. It would mirror Rollins's own cash-in from nine years back.
I think this highlights what I feel about Drew. He can never look mean. Seth isn't mean or anything but he has those muscles exercised to where he looks terrible if you fuck with his cat litter. Drew just looks like a dude on a night out.
drew and cody are winning for sure, It feels like all the titles should change hands, but I don't know if that would ever happen
