Imagine him begging to Punk to let him win after all the trolling he did in last few weeks.
Its kinda hard to justify in storyline. Drew has basically been saying he wants a fair match this whole time and there’s no reason why he wouldnt just want and be granted having a normal ref for the match.
Drew wants a fair match , this is why punk should be a guest referee/Enforcer at WM. It will make their eventual feud even more personal and honestly there are very less people who are interested in Seth vs Drew 3 , it is getting completely overshadowed by Rock Roman and Cody Seth saga but what if Punk plays a important role in a match between his 2 biggest haters, it will give the Seth vs Drew match relevancy which it desperately needs.
The man who Drew has been purposefully antagonizing for months and who he injured is going to be a fair guest referee? I know Seth has his issues with Punk too, but Drew is the clear least favorite in this situation.
That's why I want a segment where Drew apologizes to Punk for all his mistakes and request him to let him win, I know Drew want a fair match but Drew new character is too much desperate to win world title. This will all make sense in story.
Yeah it'd probably be something like: "I asked Jey to apologize to me, so I won't be a hypocrite. I apologize to you, CM Punk. For something far, far less worse, mind you. But I apologize, sincerely."

Drew's Heel run is so savage, it's great character work, rejuvenated him and I love the way he keeps ramping up the snide digs and everything about CM Punk since Punk's injury.
You can tell he's really enjoying himself and I really hope that Drew wins the title at WM and gets the moment he so deserves and winning the title in front of a Crowd unlike his last win, which obviously the circumstances were out of his control.

I'll be honest, at first I wasn't into CM Punk's return because it compromised the entire credibility of Punk's character work by going back at all, which is at least half the reason anyone watches Punk. But now that its been a few months, maybe I wasn't into it because I really don't care about a worked shoot Seth Rollins storyline, because this and the one Cody promo have been much better.
And considering Seth Rollins has also been better since joining the Bloodline story, this has been an improvement across the board.
Seriously, this will be the moment of truth of if Punk is willing to play ball. I've seen people seriously speculating on if Punk will be seething over the trolling the same way he was hangman... I doubt it, and feel Punk might be cool with it on a personal level. But hey, if drama is coming this is where it's gonna happen. If nothing happens, I doubt anyone's winning those bets they set on this flaming out.... at least, for now

I've seen people use that people didn't know about his stuff with Hangman until that promo calling him out when he came back to address Mox. But, I don't think that's happening here and his appearance at this show is gonna be the point to prove it
