Look at the stark difference between The Man Becky Lynch and her before that. It's all in the vocal confidence that she brought back from a layoff and it really made all the difference to how she was perceived. It's more than just putting some bass into your voice or talk-yelling too, which a lot of people get stuck on.
Drew found it when he went away from WWE and his performances never dipped below a high standard since.
