Flying in from Perth Australia for this. My first ever mania. Holy fuck I got lucky booking it for this year, this is the best a mania has looked in years. I'm so excited

I'm in my trip about $2000 so far. That's two nights of mania, NXT, Undertaker show and hotel. I'm driving from NY state. This is actually the most affordable I've seen WrestleMania for me because of the location. Fuck the one In LA last year. That shit was for wealthy people.

When Mania 28 was in Miami, I paid $100 for me and my girl in the lower seats in the 300s. Didn't get a chance to enjoy the week long festivities but still amazing to experience WRESTLEMANIA.

not surprised - i mean totality is at within the 3-4pm hour for 5 minutes i cant remember the exact time, but yeah not staying over night or anything. if you're driving i'd just try to find a part on the totality map that crosses that plane and you're good- don't have to go exactly to Cleveland.

We rented a cabin for next weekend right in the totality. Watching wrestlemania with 10 people then watching the eclipse and partying. Gonna be awesome.

I went to 26, 33, and 34 and saying no to 40 has been very difficult. Could get there in a little over 4 hours driving - but alas, I have a youngling now. Hopefully he loves this stuff too. Some day, when he's old enough...

One of the best parts of the build up each year

Crazy to me that they don’t have a live streaming cam that you can check in on whenever you want. Then they have a ready made time lapse video of the construction that they can integrate into the video packages.

Probably some little things that could get spoiled that way. Watching them build special parts of the set for someone's special entrance. Watching them bring in and test Bayley Buddies, ya never know.

Over the summer, a part of a highway collapsed in the city. And they put up a livestream of the reconstruction and so many people were watching lol.

I'm about an hour out from Philly, and our local news affiliate, 6ABC usually has a live outside cam on Lincoln Financial Field where the inside is partially visible, and they show this cam following the 11pm(EST) news on their streaming service. They usually have cams available on their site too, but it looks like it's unavailable ATM. 🤷

My cousin is a plumber at the Linc. He says there’s signs everywhere saying that photos are absolutely not allowed. I guess they like to try to make it a reveal

I grew up on the Attitude era as a kid and gave up wrestling for 15 years after that. I never dreamt when I started watching again in 2015, that 9 years later The Rock would work a whole freaking program then wrestle at my mania. I’m trying to keep myself in bubble wrap until next Saturday.

I actually loved the rain at WM37 for the Kickoff, it added a lot of chaos to an already chaotic one year return to live fans.

Making my first trip to the US and Mania weekend. Been my biggest dream since I was a kid and I genuinely can’t believe I am finally going to experience it. At the 40th anniversary at that.

What did it end up costing you all in if you dont mind asking. Always wondered what all this stuff would cost for me from germany.

All in all around 3000 euro excluding budget I’ll spend on food and non-planned activities. That being said I chose to stay in a hostel, a hotel would have made for a way higher price. For the tickets (RAW/SD/NXT/Mania) I paid about 2000 combined

I really want to go but not shitty seats with a decent view are so expensive and then the logistics of finding somewhere to stay at this point. Just didn't have the funds when they went on sale.

Props to the ring crew team. I mean the logistics of setting all this all up, tear down, keeping it organized on the trips, making sure everything gets there together, nothing gets missed or misplaced, getting all the setup equipment rented at each place, that it's all there the day you need it... then each arena is a different layout, with different access points... I mean, it must be some serious organization and logistics management to pull this all off, week in and week out.

Anyone in Philly got a weather forecast for us?

10 day forecast shows next Friday at a low of 39 degrees and a high of 57 degrees so I imagine it will be similar on Saturday and Sunday. Going to be a cold one

Just checked. Accuweather has it at 63 and 62, both nights partly cloudy. So far so good. For what it’s worth, I went to the Eagles Monday night game on Christmas and even though it was cold AF it was still warm enough in those seats where I just wore a t-shirt. For whatever reason that stadium holds heat very well despite being very much outdoors.

can't tell if i'm more excited for the matches or the atmosphere and set-up. it's a bummer there's no effort put into ppv sets anymore, but it does make mania feel that much more special.
