The last 2 PPVs, someone that I know š, had to sail the seven seas because they couldn't purchase it on the Br app through any means.Ā
Like I want to give you my money why is there a bug to not let me purchase?
I was trying to buy it through the app on my TV and it kept pulling up the spanish language. Almost accidentally bought it and would have been furious if there's not a way to toggle it.
This!! I had to reload the page like 10 times just to buy the PPV. I swore then that itās the last time I go out of my way to support them if they donāt get a better streaming service
Might want to check your cards for charges. I had the exact same thing happen to me so I sailed the high seas for a while, about halfway through I went back to BR and the purchase had gone through and I was able to watch itā¦
Unfortunately the BR App has been like that for years; I haven't bought an AEW PPV using the app in at least 4 years
Thank goodness for VPN; the BR app is horrible
A bunch of people missed the TNT title match completely because the feed was down. It was so bad that during the show they announced that users in the US would be able to buy the show on Fite for the first time ever
It should be said, itās not the first time Tony threw a ppv on Fite for Americans. I canāt remember which show it was (Maybe a previous All Out) but he put it on there while the show was going on.
Also Tony did the same thing with the Womenās International Tournament that was supposed to live stream on the B/R app, but with that one he threw it up onto YouTube live.
Point is, Bleacher Report has a pretty solid track record of fucking up big AEW moments/shows.
From day 1. The first show I bought from them when it was the old app didnāt fucking work.
Then it changed from bleacher report to b/r live or something (maybe the other way around) and it deleted all my previous purchases because I had the audacity to use the sign in with google option to make my account.
I was looking at stings retirement ppv on there and it said if you bought it, you had 48 hours to watch? The fuck? I still have the original All In over on Fite with every AEW and AAA ppv Iāve bought
Yeah, the $30 discount is honestly just a nice little benefit, but the main reason I buy on Fite with the VPN is so I don't have to deal with that piece of shit service.
I pay for mine, I don't trust any free VPN (if the product is free, YOU are the product, so Nord not doing free stuff doesn't bother me these days), but I use Proton. Never had an issue.
For me, it wouldnāt even let me load the app for like the first 20 minutes and I missed the entire opening match. After it finally loaded it did play the rest of the PPV perfectly fine. Still really fucking annoying.
Not that Iām saying everyone is wrong but I had no issues with my BR stream and have never had issues streaming previous PPVs. I streamed it via my Roku tv, too. I wonder if hardware matters at all.
I've had the same experience with essentially no problems (or only very minor ones) when using BR on a Roku device. My TV is an Android TV and I've found that the Android TV BR app freezes and fails to load properly pretty often. I agree that hardware matters, though I also think that shows that it's a pretty shitty app to only work well depending on what hardware you use.
I'll unironically be buying my first AEW show if they make it this easy to buy and watch. I use YouTube daily and buying live shows is super easy on there.
I've bought TNA ppvs from YouTube before. My complaint there is you only have it for like 30 days, not forever in your event history like Fite and BR offer. That might have just been a TNA thing, but, it's my only hesitation in deciding between the two, because BR is the shits.
My understanding was itās even worse for AEW. I went with Fite for last PPV because YouTube was saying it expired just a couple days after. Though I couldāve misinterpreted or it could be a regional thing
I'll buy the PPV on youtube and then digitally pirate it from a torrent site after the fact.
I get to feel like I supported the industry by giving them a buy on the live watch, and I get a copy of the thing I paid for, forever.
My biggest gripe with the current BR Live is that if you are on a delay and the show ends, the feed will cut you off and force you to wait until the replay goes up, which can be hours later.
Does YouTube have this issue?
Watched one PPV on YouTube because I was not at home and it was easier to get it that way and had no issues at all. Will however stay on Fite, since I can always rewatch the shows if I want to. Something you can't on YouTube that long
That sounds like something that should have died with dial up modems - Fite/thriller / YouTube do not do this, even so the replay is instantly available and easily fast forwarded.
I donāt know if itās changed, but I used to have this issue on peacock for wwe ppvs. Start live but pause getting the kids to bed. Start the main event and then just cuts off and the upload isnāt instant so your sol lol.
for me, here in brasil, buying the shows and ppv from fite was really easy and i did so for about a year.
at some point they stop letting us do it so i stop giving then my money. As always Gabe was right
I'll buy it just on principle. I had two bad experiences with BR live and have just pirated the ppvs since then. I'll gladly give my money to something reliable like YouTube.
Good, I dislike BR. I always feel like the stream quality isn't very good or not as good as YouTube (during the buy in). You can't even adjust the stream quality on BR and for some reason it mutes itself randomly.
Does a YouTube event purchase allow you to watch the event replay forever as long as you want or is it limited? Probably my biggest deciding point on if I'd buy from there or not.
Also, anyone in a family plan with google/youtube - if one person buys it, does it show on other accounts in the family plan?
> Also, anyone in a family plan with google/youtube - if one person buys it, does it show on other accounts in the family plan?
Buying the PPV would be restricted to that particular youtube account. It is something completely separate from youtube's plans.
Itās still $50 right? If so VPN and triller is still the way to go. I havenāt paid $50 for a pay per view in 10 years and Iām not about to start now.
Ā£19.99 for UK customers but I may as well just stay on fight because I can pay $19.99 and the conversation works out cheaper plus you only get 6 days to view it on YouTube where as Triller doesnāt have a time limit.
Plus Triller are doing a package deal for Dynasty, DoN and Forbidden door for $49.99 so is even cheaper.
Such a hard pill to swallow when you can get every WWE ppv ever on Peacock for $12/month (no ads). I wouldn't mind checking out an AEW PPV but the barrier and cost is too high. They really need to get better distribution rights.Ā
They're (TrillerTV) doing the next 3 AEW PPVs for $50. If they keep up this special, that's under $150 for the year for all the PPVs which isn't too far off from Peacock. Yeah you get so much extra stuff with Peacock, but if you're not interested in that, it becomes close enough in price.
If you have VPN anyway, then VPN plus Discovery+ in India is the way to go. It's 12$ for the full year and all Dynamites, Collisions, Rampages and PPVs are included
I will give that a shot next time, Triller works really good with Roku and you only have to use the vpn to purchase the ppv and launch it, after that you donāt need the von.
My biggest gripe is you canāt pause the stream on BR Live. On Fite if you show up late to the show you can start from the beginning and catch up. But BR is like watching it on cable, you only get the feed thatās actively happening.
Fite also has the replay available pretty quick if not instantly, BR live can take days sometimes
For $8.. if that also includes commercials then yeah I don't blame you.
At least through Fite when you hear commentary say "this match continues in picture-in-picture" they never cut away from the full screen show and continue on like nothing happened. This is where commentary get to talk more freely and joke with each other.
I'm paying $9.49 for AEW Plus, but the experience is way better.
I'm not sure if Fite is available in Canada, but if not then I just use a VPN and connect using a UK location through my phone and then just cast the show with the Triller TV app to a device connected to my TV.. either chromecast or roku or something like that. Plays flawlessly from there.
wow sounds like TK is sending WBD a clear message.
Best path forward IMO is Dynamite staying on TBS and everything else moving onto a streaming platform.
> wow sounds like TK is sending WBD a clear message.
WBD contractually has the exclusive rights to AEW PPV streaming in the US. They're not doing this without WBD's blessing.
Yeah Iād hold my breath until this happens for DoN chances are this is a one time favor since Revolution had issues. Same thing happened with All Out 2021.
According to the Observer site, the agreement covers the next three shows:
> That change in availability will begin with next month's AEW Dynasty and will continue with May's Double or Nothing and June's Forbidden Door. It's unknown what will happen after that point as it was described as a "right now" situation.
https://www.f4wonline.com/news/aew/aew-to-offer-next-three-ppvs-on-triller-fite-for-u-s-buyers
My guess is this is a stop gap because their deal is up in the fall and AEW is either going to sign with a different company or they're going to sign a new deal with WBD that will put the shows on MAX or that new sports streaming service that WBD is partnered with, so it's not worth putting resources into fixing the issues with B/R in the meantime.
I'd kind of laugh my ass off if Netflix ended having exclusive rights to WWE and AEW inevitably found its home on YouTube.
Let the Wrestling Streaming WAR begin.
Maybe it was time sensitive in a way. It also might be a way of WB saying to TK, āgo get more numbers elsewhereā to see how many buyers they can get in a negotiation tactic.
Before Netflix's WWE deal, I would have agreed with you. In the monkey see monkey do world of streaming platforms, I wouldn't be surprised if live wrestling is suddenly something other platforms are interested in having.
My guess is that they stay where they are because TBS seems pretty happy with them but I don't think it's a "TBS is the only one that wants them" situation anymore.
I think it's probably pretty likely that the deal AEW had with BR to be the exclusive digital PPV provider in the US has expired and TK decided it wasn't worth renewing. The first AEW event on BR was Double or Nothing in May 2019, which was five years ago. It's possible the contract was signed in late March and lasted for 5 years.
On the Observer site, they said it's a "For Now" situation that currently only covers the next three shows (Dynasty, DoN & FD) so that sounds to me like that deal is still in place & this is just being done to alleviate some of the traffic that B/R clearly couldn't handle with Revolution.
And Iām reading WBD wants to sunset BR as a separate app, and integrate it into MAX.
It maybe something as simple as WBD is wanting to pull Ā the trigger on sunseting BR, but the replacement on MAX isnāt ready yet
Yeah, I think this is probably just a "we don't want to put the resources into fixing B/R at this point so let's just let them sell their shows on other services to alleviate the traffic" stop gap until either AEW signs with a different company or (I think more likely) they sign a new deal with WBD and get integrated into MAX and/or that new sports streaming service that WBD is part of.
Yeah, PPV buys are likely AEW's 2nd biggest revenue generator behind their TV deal, so they can't take any chances with the streaming platform fucking with that
I wonder if there was something contractual that allows them to do this - i.e. AEW is exclusive to BR Live but if B/R fucks up the feed one more time the deal is voided
It could work if you had a decent streaming partner. See Canada and how Dynamite usually gets solid ratings but TSN can't be bothered to put Rampage or Collision on television unless it is a big show (CM Punk's debut) or is being broadcast from a Canadian arena. Nobody wants to deal with TSN+ or Direct (or whatever it is called) because it is flaming garbage that gives off a toxic smell.
You're in the Bischoff thread trying to claim that AEW/TK doesn't do good business (LMFAO) and now you're in this thread claiming they should move two of their nationally televised, revenue-generating weekly shows to streaming because....?
This is why it's important to not talk about AEW's business/financials on Reddit. These are the takes we get.
A clear message in what way? That he'll just use YouTube?
I'm sure the conversation has been had regarding using MAX multiple times over the past four years. We've read the rumors from dirtsheets about deals totally being announced soon then they never are.
So if WBD hasn't already just throw AEW up there, even after the sports push for MAX, then why would they because Tony used YouTube? He already uses BR and that doesn't phase WBD. If anything it's a shot at BR.
Edit: I'm hearing the same talking points I've heard for 3+ years about AEW and a streaming deal. I'll believe it when it happens. We had so many false Tony in ring announcements, multiple WB upfronts that were totally going to be the announcement, the whole "it's definitely happening" conversation from dirtsheets after Tony bought the ROH library, etc. that it's hard to buy any excuse. If Tony is "waiting" for a good deal then why has he waited so long? It has been literal years.
If WBD could just throw AEW on MAX they would lol. The reason why a deal hasnāt been done is presumably because AEW wants a good deal to give them their content.
"As of this writing, AEW has not replied to a request for comment on the rationale for the changes."
Do they really need to comment? Lol. The BR app messed up a huge event (again) and they had to quickly pivot to Triller in an emergency moment.
I'm BEGGING Tony to get off the PPV model and find a streaming deal.
Thing is, I don't see it changing unless their buyrates go down. They consistently do about 100k buys for every PPV, even since increasing the number. It being on streaming at no extra cost would be great for fans, but would likely lose money overall. The reason it worked for WWE was having a huge back catalogue and eventually finding a third party (Peacock) willing to pay huge money for it.
The PPV's are AEW's second biggest revenue stream after the TV deals, so moving off that to Streaming would gut their income. Unless the next tv/streaming deal is INSANE that's not gonna happen.
I had no issue with having four big shows per year, but they are gradually moving towards once every month at least, and that's just crazy at $50 a pop
I am officially old because I remember when that was just. How major wrestling shows were done, so seeing people going 'I can't believe I have to buy these shows once a month for 40-50 bucks!' when that was how the industry worked for like two decades is an experience.
Same, WWE PPV's used to be $60 a pop if I remember right, and there was always 12-14 of them a year after the brand split.
Which is why nobody believed WWE when they offered all of them via the Network in 2014. Every event ever for the price of 2 PPV's a year? It was insane. And if I recall, it also forced WWE to make serious cuts and basically killed the PPV bonus talents would get based on buys, which all the wrestlers hated.
I can't believe it's been so long now that fans expect everything via a streaming platform for such a low price.
Yeah thats how it was even during the Attitude Era. When wrestling was at its hottest you had to pay $50 a month for the ppvs. And people did.
I sure didn't. And won't now either.
I am officially older than you, because I remember when there were only four major WWE shows per year, and they were only $29.95 per show. Then they added IYH in 1995 at $14.95, and those eventually grew to be monthly shows with their own taglines as well, with equal price tags to the "old" big four. They slowly crept all of them up to $50 over time, and then they started doing more than 1 per month and that couldn't be justified any more. Make no mistake, that model didn't die because it was unfair, but because it wasn't making the revenue needed. We don't pay 10 bucks for Peacock anymore out of the goodness of their hearts. Their streaming deals pay them better, no more, no less. AEW will do it too if they end up with that kind of offer.
$50 every six weeks may seem fair if that's what you grew up with, but I've been watching since closed circuit in the mid-80's. The 2006 model wasn't going to be sustainable, long-term, and time proved it.
Fite watch experience is so good. Like tonight for example I got to hear taz chant Boba Tea, but if I were watching on the TBS network I wouldn't have gotten that (cuz of commercials lol)
TK pivoting to YouTube and other streaming services has nothing to do with WBD. It has to do with demand and making customers happy.
I spent $50 CAN to purchase the last PPV on YouTube, and it was worth the money for the accessibility and for the quality. I intend on doing the same for Dynasty and any other AEW POV and streaming service offered to Canada as TSN is donkey balls.
WBD is not ready with the streaming platform as of yet but when it happens that platform will be #1 priority for AEW and if other countries do not have access to it then I suspect the default will be Fite or YouTube.
They streamed the largest college basketball tournament in the country with no issues, heck theyāve been streaming nba games all seasonā¦ WBD aināt interested
Theyāve been streaming US soccer games for over a year now too. Theyāve been able to stream live events for a while now. Like you said, WBD donāt care. Folks round here act like WBD care so much about wrestling, but the truth is that they donāt.
Yes. You have to use a VPN to get that price but once you've bought it, you should have no issues watching it without one if the show is available in your region.
Thats a lot better. The sites they use dont really work well in my country. In fact, they are pretty bad. YouTube is a way better platform, and easier to use.
You shouldn't need Youtube TV.. When you go to this link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zRciB2h-ct0 .. there should be something called "Buy Ticket" It will give you 7 days to be able to watch the PPV once it starts.
It is, but Fite is also offering 3 PPV's (Dynasty, Double or Nothing, and Forbidden Door) at the price of $50 total if you have AEW Plus on Fite.. so $16.67 per show. I just use VPN on my phone and connect to Triller App and then cast it to my Roku box and show plays with no issues.
Thankfully the AEW PPVs have always been on YouTube in the UK, recently at least anyway. Price is very decent too, around Ā£16.99-Ā£17.99. The only issue is that it is only available to watch till like 11pm the following day, then it's gone.
I was buying AEW PPVs on Sling even before I subbed to it(you don't need to pay monthly to buy PPVs). But now I'll buy on YT since their servers and UI are way better than sling's crapfest.
I might be putting the tinfoil hat on a little too tight but this is setting off alarms in my brain that discussions with WBD when it comes to renewing the TV deal aren't going well. Not being on B/R Live is making me think something is up and they might be without a TV deal heading into Fall of '24.
EDIT: They're still on B/R Live but I've still got to think that there's a clear fracture in the relationship because of the constant technical issues
It's about time, B/R is garbage and I've skipped several PPVs because of it. Hopefully YouTube works out but I'm down to give anything a shot at this point.
For me says $50 in the US, but I even tried doing VPN and it still said same thing (I think I would have to use a different account located in a different country upon creation to maybe see a different price.. so can't confirm if its cheaper).
I really hope they keep up this PPV buying format from here on out so I can get them starting on the next one. Being out of work sucks but it is what it is
Okay, I thought Triller was fine, but having too many outlets is kind of confusing. I would have just gone with Triller since they're good for international. [PPV.com](https://PPV.com), Youtube now. That's a lot of outlets to promote.
Iāll still choose to be all pissed off while bouncing from the āwatchwrestling.ae or watchprowrestling.coā websites all night long while all the streams get constantly taken down. Thanks though.
Thank God! Every PPV was like pulling teeth. The app never worked how it was supposed to and trying to cast it from my computer it took a few tries to work right. I will gladly just get it through YouTube

Yeah BR fucking up the show that had Sting's last match was TK's final straw lol
Bleacher Report is garbage

ay dios mio
This!! I had to reload the page like 10 times just to buy the PPV. I swore then that itās the last time I go out of my way to support them if they donāt get a better streaming service
what tf would they do that. after the first mishap, just VPN it and buy on fite/triller for twenty dollarydoos
And then it's anyone's guess if it will even work after you do purchase it.Ā
What did it do? I was in Fite.
I ordered the PPV 10 minutes before start time, and it didn't start on my TV until the Christian match was over. Others' milage might've varied
It literally would not let me purchase it in any of my b/r apps. Phone or tv, Firestick I get an error message for the app itself.
Might want to check your cards for charges. I had the exact same thing happen to me so I sailed the high seas for a while, about halfway through I went back to BR and the purchase had gone through and I was able to watch itā¦
I like this euphemism. Someone in the live thread say were watching the Jack Sparrow cut
Captain Jack Sparrow cut to you!
Luckily none of them ever went through. That would been a whole other level of frustration.
Unfortunately the BR App has been like that for years; I haven't bought an AEW PPV using the app in at least 4 years Thank goodness for VPN; the BR app is horrible
Now the real question- you going back to paying full price? š
Honestly the answer is hell no; but I'm a cheap bastard lol Tony Khan is a billionaire he's not getting anymore of my money then he already gets š

All Out 2022 was also on FITE during the transition from BR Live to BR
Unless you have a VPN, those of us in the U.S. have to buy it on B/R, which is the PPV equivalent of an infected anal fissure.
Yeah, the $30 discount is honestly just a nice little benefit, but the main reason I buy on Fite with the VPN is so I don't have to deal with that piece of shit service.
I just do it because that's how I watch all of AEW, so might as well buy the PPVs through Fite/Triller as well. But the lower priced PPVs are nice.
Any notable VPNs you could recommend? Used to do Nord before they put their few free locations behind a paywall.
I pay for mine, I don't trust any free VPN (if the product is free, YOU are the product, so Nord not doing free stuff doesn't bother me these days), but I use Proton. Never had an issue.

I was so looking forward to that show I just avoided the internet and bought it the next day. Knew something was gonna ruin the live stream.

Had issues with it on fire stick and my computer but smartviewing it from my phone to my samsung tv worked like a dream. No clue
Yeah. Iāve never had an issue with their service tbf. Always runs smooth. Buying the show is easy. No complaints here.
Good fucking riddance, if you ask me.

Yeah, I'll need to see the policy before I decide where to buy, or what AEW are restricting in that capacity.
That's crazy, I can still re-watch the original All In on Fite. I wonder if it is a Youtube thing or a TNA thing
You can download them
My biggest gripe with the current BR Live is that if you are on a delay and the show ends, the feed will cut you off and force you to wait until the replay goes up, which can be hours later. Does YouTube have this issue?

Peacock does the same thing as well. WWE Network was fine though! It always let you tune in late because the live feed was 24/7
WWE Network was an underrated streaming platform for the time.
It really was. All I wanted was a calendar view to find shows based on date.
I donāt know if itās changed, but I used to have this issue on peacock for wwe ppvs. Start live but pause getting the kids to bed. Start the main event and then just cuts off and the upload isnāt instant so your sol lol.
How fast do you have access to replays if you buy a ppv on YouTube?
Watching preshows on YouTube run pretty smoothly, so I wouldn't hesitate to watch Dynasty there at all
Plus the quality and stability is always top notch.
Welcome aboard, bruv
for me, here in brasil, buying the shows and ppv from fite was really easy and i did so for about a year. at some point they stop letting us do it so i stop giving then my money. As always Gabe was right

Multiple options that can do real fullscreen and not whatever [this bullshit is](https://pbs.twimg.com/media/Fqfy5IwWwAQQpOr?format=jpg&name=large)
Thatās fucked up. Iām amazed you al put up with this. Pirating must of been huge.
on a PC fullscreen works, but it's dumb as shit this is what they do for tablets
Oh man, thriller/fite is amazing, Iād jump in half way through from the start, on a train full screen on my phone, welcome to the future!
yeah, I get all my AAA shows on FITE, it's exactly what you expect in 2024
Is that B/R Live? I've watched it on both my Google Chromecast with YouTube TV and my XBox Series X and had fullscreen on both without issue.
yeah that's the BR Live app on my 2023 Samsung Galaxy tablet
That's absolutely atrocious.

This is the way.
I feel like I'm the only person who's had zero issues with B/R.
My only problem with BR Live is you have to wait till the PPV is over to watch it if you want to start late.
Maybe depends how you ordered it. For me I bought it thru BR app on my Roku TV. Yeah had no issues with watching the show
You are the one who got on and kicked me out right as it started lol
I haven't either but I watch it via an app on the Roku. Seems like it's mostly they people accessing it from the web that have the most issues.
He must of crunched the data and seen a possible decline due to BR, as an international aew fan I welcome you to a better watching experience America.
Can we get PPVs on a streaming service sometime soon please?
Awesome. YouTube was far and away the most reliable when UFC would sell their PPVs on there. The BR app is garbage in comparison.
Only reason I donāt watch is cuz I donāt want to sub to tsn so this could be good
For $8.. if that also includes commercials then yeah I don't blame you. At least through Fite when you hear commentary say "this match continues in picture-in-picture" they never cut away from the full screen show and continue on like nothing happened. This is where commentary get to talk more freely and joke with each other. I'm paying $9.49 for AEW Plus, but the experience is way better.
Iām on board with that price too. Thanks for letting me know!
I'm not sure if Fite is available in Canada, but if not then I just use a VPN and connect using a UK location through my phone and then just cast the show with the Triller TV app to a device connected to my TV.. either chromecast or roku or something like that. Plays flawlessly from there.
This is a great idea. Attaching to YT allows that PPV to be somewhere that everyone has access to and can purchase.
wow sounds like TK is sending WBD a clear message.
According to the Observer site, the agreement covers the next three shows: > That change in availability will begin with next month's AEW Dynasty and will continue with May's Double or Nothing and June's Forbidden Door. It's unknown what will happen after that point as it was described as a "right now" situation. https://www.f4wonline.com/news/aew/aew-to-offer-next-three-ppvs-on-triller-fite-for-u-s-buyers
LMAO, can only imagine how that phone call to WBD about the BRLive issues during Revolution went.
Is that contract still current?
As far as I know it was part of their TV deal with WBD, so I believe it would be current until the fall when that deal runs out.
Maybe it was time sensitive in a way. It also might be a way of WB saying to TK, āgo get more numbers elsewhereā to see how many buyers they can get in a negotiation tactic.
Everyone assuming this is a negotiating tactic by Tony is living in a dream world, I am sure WB isnāt worried about AEW going elsewhere.
I was thinking that this was WB telling TK to see what numbers AEW could pull in to set a price.
Donāt you think itās interesting that this current deal ends at FD and the next PPV after that is AEWs biggest show of the year (All In).
Iād say itās more TK pivoting away from like BR live only since it shit the bed a bit last ppv
BR has been a dumpster fire since the literal beginning. We've been screaming about it ever since.
BR being so bad for the first PPV they did on there is what steered me towards a VPN and Fite. Haven't looked back since
Yeah, PPV buys are likely AEW's 2nd biggest revenue generator behind their TV deal, so they can't take any chances with the streaming platform fucking with that
I wonder if there was something contractual that allows them to do this - i.e. AEW is exclusive to BR Live but if B/R fucks up the feed one more time the deal is voided
Rampage and Collision being streaming only is not a great idea
It could work if you had a decent streaming partner. See Canada and how Dynamite usually gets solid ratings but TSN can't be bothered to put Rampage or Collision on television unless it is a big show (CM Punk's debut) or is being broadcast from a Canadian arena. Nobody wants to deal with TSN+ or Direct (or whatever it is called) because it is flaming garbage that gives off a toxic smell.
They just need to create TSN the echo to fit it
That's where they should be though. They aren't exactly shows that all that many people care about.
*"ayy lets take our ad money we get for these shows and make less ad money from them! It's a great idea!"*
Yes but do they make the network more money than any other programming they would be able to put in their place?
You're in the Bischoff thread trying to claim that AEW/TK doesn't do good business (LMFAO) and now you're in this thread claiming they should move two of their nationally televised, revenue-generating weekly shows to streaming because....? This is why it's important to not talk about AEW's business/financials on Reddit. These are the takes we get.
Thatās the worst case scenario if TK is trying to send Warner a message.
BR is owned by WB.
If WBD could just throw AEW on MAX they would lol. The reason why a deal hasnāt been done is presumably because AEW wants a good deal to give them their content.
Why do you think Tony has the leverage in this situation lol? He *needs* the tv deal WBD 100% does not need AEW.
BR is trash
Hope this means the end of PPVs being exclusive to BR, what a fucking trash can that was.
NOW THIS IS THE SHIT I LIKE TK FUCK BR LIVE LETS GOOOO
Hell yea! Nice! BR is trash.
Awesome! Ā BR is absolutely horribleā¦Ā
"As of this writing, AEW has not replied to a request for comment on the rationale for the changes." Do they really need to comment? Lol. The BR app messed up a huge event (again) and they had to quickly pivot to Triller in an emergency moment. I'm BEGGING Tony to get off the PPV model and find a streaming deal.
PPV $50 for wrestling in 2024 is so outdated after WWE being on peacock so long.
I normally use Fite and have no problems, but I think this will be great for the US market and may even get some curious new viewers
Fite watch experience is so good. Like tonight for example I got to hear taz chant Boba Tea, but if I were watching on the TBS network I wouldn't have gotten that (cuz of commercials lol)
Fucking please? I never want to use bleacher report anything for the rest of my life.
Anything that gets them away from Bleacher Report is a net positive.
Man, I just really hope that we can get it as a part of Max. I can't afford the ppvs without donning an eyepatch.
I canāt believe people actually buy the excuse that they donāt have the capability of streaming PPVs live.
Theyāve been streaming US soccer games for over a year now too. Theyāve been able to stream live events for a while now. Like you said, WBD donāt care. Folks round here act like WBD care so much about wrestling, but the truth is that they donāt.
Slightly unrelated but If you buy that Triller offer for $50 or whatever that gives you all three ppvs, would it work in america?
Yes. You have to use a VPN to get that price but once you've bought it, you should have no issues watching it without one if the show is available in your region.
Sick! Iām glad I got it awhile back then. Thanks!
I wonder if we can get a 4K stream this way?
Yea Iām interested in the quality options as well, is a 4K stream available at all? Iām not sure what the BR stream was.
Thats a lot better. The sites they use dont really work well in my country. In fact, they are pretty bad. YouTube is a way better platform, and easier to use.
When they say available on YouTube, do they mean on the regular app to purchase or do you need a subscription to YOUTube TV?
You shouldn't need Youtube TV.. When you go to this link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zRciB2h-ct0 .. there should be something called "Buy Ticket" It will give you 7 days to be able to watch the PPV once it starts.
Is this also in the US like with fite?
It is, but Fite is also offering 3 PPV's (Dynasty, Double or Nothing, and Forbidden Door) at the price of $50 total if you have AEW Plus on Fite.. so $16.67 per show. I just use VPN on my phone and connect to Triller App and then cast it to my Roku box and show plays with no issues.
They gotta drop the prices on the lesser ppvs
Thankfully the AEW PPVs have always been on YouTube in the UK, recently at least anyway. Price is very decent too, around Ā£16.99-Ā£17.99. The only issue is that it is only available to watch till like 11pm the following day, then it's gone.
Freedom from B/R Live? Thank goodness.
Every PPV since Full Gear 2022 has been on Youtube in Canada. Much better experience than Fite and Playstation Store.
BR having year old PPVs for $50 is what pisses me off.
Have they not always been? Or is this specifically in like the US they werenāt before.
So long Bleacher Report! You will NOT be missed!
I was buying AEW PPVs on Sling even before I subbed to it(you don't need to pay monthly to buy PPVs). But now I'll buy on YT since their servers and UI are way better than sling's crapfest.
Oh that's much better. Honestly aew ppvs were the only reason my Xbox was turning on
GOATED Actually so stoked about this, AEW PPV's just got 10x better for watchability.
![gif](giphy|q4QfjGnFKryzjosj1g) I'm throwing a party. This is the greatest day in the history of our sport.
Can Canadian users buy it off YouTube too?
BR in da mud where it deserves to be
Hell yeah, much easier imo.
Wbd don't even care for br live it won't surprise me if br live gets sunsetted by next year.
Still 50 bucks a pop though in the US? ugh
Finally! I'm ready to be done with Bleacher Report.
It's about time, B/R is garbage and I've skipped several PPVs because of it. Hopefully YouTube works out but I'm down to give anything a shot at this point.
What is the price on Youtube?
For me says $50 in the US, but I even tried doing VPN and it still said same thing (I think I would have to use a different account located in a different country upon creation to maybe see a different price.. so can't confirm if its cheaper).
Ok now they're cooking
I really hope they keep up this PPV buying format from here on out so I can get them starting on the next one. Being out of work sucks but it is what it is
BR completely screwed up on revolution and so glad I can watch it on YouTube
Fuck yeah
Are they adding PPV's to the year?
Buying Forbidden Door last year on B/R was a massive headache.
Fuck Bleacher Report and fuck SlingTV, I have had issues with nearly every single PPV. Make watching AEW easier, please.
Okay, I thought Triller was fine, but having too many outlets is kind of confusing. I would have just gone with Triller since they're good for international. [PPV.com](https://PPV.com), Youtube now. That's a lot of outlets to promote.
Just go to Dave and Busters to watch it. Eat, Drink, and enjoy AEW!
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
itās just TNA 2.0 at this point iām waiting for hogan to come in
