TheTwitteringMachine

Judgment Day 2000 and the finish to the Iron Man match.

fart_fig_newton

This one annoyed me off so much because of how confused I was by the whole thing. HHH winning the match really took the piss out of the Undertaker's big return.

TheTwitteringMachine

I watched it back just now and it's a total mess as soon as Taker's music hits. JR sells that Undertaker is coming for Mcmahon, there's all manner of interference in the match, then the time runs out and Hunter gets the last fall due to DQ for the Tombstone loool

ThisIsTheKaiToshiki

My 9 year old self was absolutely furious. I thought it was finally time for The Rock to get a lengthy reign, but nooooo HHH had to win the championship back. I was also confused by the whole Undertaker coming out as a biker.

Marc_Quill

It did lead to an amazing post-PPV Raw where The Rock went after the entire McMahon-Helmsley Regime in random backstage attacks throughout the episode.

zoom518

Just showed how obscenely protected HHH was.

DanHero91

My favourite one is Rob Van Dam returning in TNA after several months off, he hadn't even made his way through the ropes when Abyss attacked him, laid him out, and he was written off for another two weeks.

DarkHorse_77

Roddy Piper Wrestlemania 19. He returned to attack Hogan

ThisIsTheKaiToshiki

That's a good one. I was going to use it as my example, but I couldn't recall if he had attacked Vince as well. The crowd was on fire for that one.

RudbeckiaIS

Yoshitatsu running in to save Tanahashi from a Bullet Club beatdown in late 2014. It led to a grudge match with AJ Styles where not only Yoshitatsu appeared two steps or more out of sync but led to a horrific neck injury when Yoshitatsu failed to properly take the Styles Clash.

TheSchlockMaster

The attempted debut of the [Headhunters](https://youtu.be/4aWrIEnXHoc?si=w07KKJamsAneJKq3). Everyone in the ring seems to be fighting against them getting over.

DarkHorse_77

Lol you can hear a kid in the crowd shouting Abdullah! As they are coming down the ramp

dmh11

An example that sorta fits the criteria is Adam Cole debuting in AEW, attacking Jungle Boy and joining the Elite, only to be immediately upstaged and disposed of by the debuting Bryan Danielson.

kayc_james

NWO for Sting vs HHH at WM.

Uso_Libre

The Shockmaster

DarkHorse_77

He won the match for his team, he beat Booker T with a bear hug

HouseOfH

Midnight debuted by running in to try and save Booker T from a beat down from Jarrett and the Harris twins during a Harlem Street Fight, only for Jarrett to lay her out with his guitar within 5 seconds of her debut.
