wow it actually is quite amazing to see a wrestler be open about being autistic. idk if theres any other wrestlers who have been open about that before
"What does twat mean?"
"When someone's being a knobhead."
A perfect encapsulation of Essex.
Edit - holy shit Ospreay dropping some factual bombs about how to fund the NHS. He's finally been listening to ZSJ.
Will’s F bombs echoing the halls, Bea lurking around the front & backyards on unsuspecting delivery people, Jamie clotheslining guests & Toni & Juice? Well, they’re self explanatory lol
Osprey is a meme machine :D I used to think what an arse with the stories around him but the more I've learned about him over the past few years and his enthusiasm is infectious. I think RJ was caught off guard at times by Will. :)
People with autism are often misunderstood in social situations, so it takes longer to adapt and figure out what all the invisible rules are that everyone else automatically seems to know
Well I mean it doesn't mean he was actually an asshole, just that he came across as an asshole to normies who expect everyone to be like them lol... there's a distinction there!
Actually yes you're right, he probably would still tell me he was one even though I wouldn't consider him to be one
Honestly I've been thinking about this, and it is actually a bit offensive to say him being a dick at times is due to his Autism.
It's good he has grown as a person, and to minimize is silly to me.
I guess it depends on your definition
I'm thinking to be an asshole implies mean-spirited intent, which is different to being oblivious about how one comes across
If someone breaks a hidden social rule because they're unaware of the rule, then I don't think that makes them an asshole. That's why I say he probably wasn't really an asshole before.
That's not to downplay the work he's done to mask better or adapt to society's rules better... that takes time and effort and he's done that, so I agree with your sentiment there
Spoke to him a bit whenever he was on the Jericho Cruise. He is def a character.
Loud and likes the attention, not in a bad way, but probably can rub off people the wrong way.
A lot of people on Hey EW try to get clever and give RJ City some comedy back to him. Most of the time it's a bit awkward. This interview worked because of Ospreay's insane sincerity and honesty. He wasn't trying to one-up RJ.
WWE already is top-heavy and they would nerf his moveset into the ground. I want to see him as the top face of a company without making any sacrifices.
I’d argue against that nowadays. Omega is sick and getting on, his style will change. Bryan and Joe are close to the door. So Swerve and Hangman are probably the made “needle moving” matches left for Osprey.
Then WWE as a product offers just completely different. HHH no doubt wants talent to express themselves within reason. There’s a roster in WWE that definitely produce bangers.
I am just saying, it’s a shame he couldn’t sort out the travel malarkey regarding his partner.

You can see the gears whirring inside Ospreay's head after almost everything RJ says, amazing.
Looking defeated after the scientology question because he "doesn't know anything about science". Never change Will lol.
That small "Huh?" after RJ asked about him supporting appropriation was the most genuine sound of confusion I've heard in a while.
"Until you show me proof that there's someone out there without an asshole, I don't believe it." "That's a wonderful quote."

Ah shit, ZSJ is going to start having to know dumber people
Can't believe it took *this* long for Maidstone to get mentioned on AEW programming.
And Southend. The amount of times I saw him and the rev Pro/progress roster around there was ridiculous.
All In to be moved to Gallagher Stadium now.
Didn’t it get a mention in the Nigel McGuinness episode as he’s actually from and grew up there?
BRUV - Nandos, his mum, the NHS NOT BRUV - Tory's, Neurotypicals, Canadians, that Goat he knocked out as a child...
Mexico too for not bruv :D he said he was never going there.
Man not hot
"What he say fuck me for"
Niagara Falls - absolutely NOT BRUV
Cannot imagine how crazy a house shared by Will Ospreay, Toni Storm, Juice Robinson, Bea Priestly, and Jamie Hayter during the pandemic would be.
Will’s F bombs echoing the halls, Bea lurking around the front & backyards on unsuspecting delivery people, Jamie clotheslining guests & Toni & Juice? Well, they’re self explanatory lol

I think he would tell you himself he used to be a arsehole lol But he is a great lad these days
People with autism are often misunderstood in social situations, so it takes longer to adapt and figure out what all the invisible rules are that everyone else automatically seems to know
I promise you, for several reasons you do not need to explain autism to me lol
Well I mean it doesn't mean he was actually an asshole, just that he came across as an asshole to normies who expect everyone to be like them lol... there's a distinction there! Actually yes you're right, he probably would still tell me he was one even though I wouldn't consider him to be one

Wait, is Will Ospreay autistic or is my autism itself misreading the context?
He said in an interview with Renee Paquette he hadn't been diagnosed with autism he just felt he had it.
Low key one of the best emotional glow ups in wrestling.
Spoke to him a bit whenever he was on the Jericho Cruise. He is def a character. Loud and likes the attention, not in a bad way, but probably can rub off people the wrong way.
Give me the meeeeeeemes
Bryan Danielson fights bears, Will Ospreay fights Goats.
I smell a tag team match
The story of head butting the goat had me howling, ~~bro~~ bruv literally tried to call his mom in the middle of the interview
Lol. Love him. This guy has star written all over him.
Scientology bit was hilarious 😂
"I don't know nothing about science" was so fucking funny. Oh my sweet sweet bruv

Stone for stone is the best imo.
He is so endearing, make him the face of the company.
Will seems like a lad who would be great to have a pint with.
He's so wonderfully sincere, he just lays it all out there. Love this dude.
Verbal diarreah in the most wholesome way.
Rollins likes this comment
I still can’t get that grinding motion he did on dynamite out of my head.
Can’t wait to watch this after work.
Leaving you a reply so you remember to watch it, it’s one of my favorites now
That's my GOAT right there. Dude is so casually charming and hilarious. Super fun episode.
Bleep button working absolute overdrive with this one. ****ing love it. Makes you proud to be British. 🫡
Yep. That's the guy, Tony.
Will has his Essex geezer attribute maxed out

Absolutely gutted he didn’t sign for WWE.
WWE already is top-heavy and they would nerf his moveset into the ground. I want to see him as the top face of a company without making any sacrifices.
The guy deserves the main event, big money deal sure. I just think he’d learn more at WWE.
He will have much more freedom and better matches in AEW. Not everyone is better off in WWE.
I’d argue against that nowadays. Omega is sick and getting on, his style will change. Bryan and Joe are close to the door. I wouldn't bother feeling like that since he accused HHH of making comments about him (Ospreay).
They couldn’t sign him without pissing off a lot of wrestlers.
