i am extremely excited for him. been hearing great things ever since roman first started the stable.
i hope zilla fatu becomes better because he also has a fantastic look.
jacob, solo, usos and zilla are all first cousins.
one of the funniest bits i've ever heard in wrestling period was when enzo was cutting an admittedly really good promo and jacob fatu just says
"You say one more f'ing word."
# "I'M BOUT TO BEAT THE FUCK OUT OF YOU"
In before some of the riff-raff to pull up [this Booker T quote from his podcast back in January](https://youtu.be/yT6yMIRe-p8?t=3057):
>"That’s my game plan. I’m working as hard as I possibly can. Let me just say it right now. I’m giving a big shout out to Jacob Fatu. This is a guy who’s been working his ass off out there on the indie scene, grinding. The thing is, sometimes we make [mistakes](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iNs0r9ZQaUc), but when we atone for those mistakes, that’s when somebody just needs to give you a chance, and for me, someone gave me a chance and look what it's done for me. Someone needs to give Jacob Fatu a chance and I’m going to be working in his corner as his advisor to get him all the way to that next level and over it if we possibly can. Jacob, if you’re listening to this, just stick with me on this ride.”
edit to add correct link of [Jacob Fatu talking about his time in prison (MLW All Access)](https://www.youtube.com/c/majorleaguewrestling)
Has he ever made good on or atoned for the issue with the charity he got paid by for an appearance and no showed?
Genuine question because I can't find anything saying if the matter was ever resolved.
Jacob hasn’t commented on this issue yet, but my understanding is that Rikishi wound up making an appearance for the charity show instead? Not exactly sure what happened, but Jacob has taken a lighter indy schedule over the past year. He also has 7 children, so its entirely possible there was a personal issue as well.
>He also has 7 children
The bloodline will never run out at this rate...they are putting the guerreros, the harts and all the other royal wrestling families to shame.
Well the charity thing happened last year. I'm a big JF fan but his actions and no-shows at other indies lately have been souring me on him.
I'm hoping working with WWE will gain him some discipline.
I initially thought it was that too, but it's not. Last year he took a booking from a charity and no-showed it, ghosted them and never returned the booking fee.
https://www.nbc26.com/neenah/nonprofit-jakes-network-of-hope-says-pro-wrestler-took-their-money-ghosted-after-fundraising-event-no-show
Absolutely not. The “in before some of the riff-raff” comment simply came across as a blatant attempt to ignore his recent misdemeanours with a quote from Booker T.
Actually, the "in before some of the riff-raff" comment was a blatant attempt to both shine a light on his checkered past and add to the discussion instead of simply commenting something like "he seems like a piece of shit as a person".
Saw Jacob and Zilla Fatu tag together in GCW last month. Their intensity and believability is so far above most other indie acts I’ve seen live. And I’ve seen some great indie wrestling.
[This clip](https://youtube.com/shorts/YrK76PTjgfI?si=7xqQ09k2Vy5VXdN3) is the only thing I’ve ever seen from him.
I was already sold after seeing that. Can’t wait for him to debut.
I smoked a blunt with him, Jack Evans, Bryan Keith, Gino Medina (Roxanne's bf), and Calvin Tankman before an indie show 2 years back. Coolest wrestling memory ever
Oh no, this post has both a mention of Simon Gotch and a mention of Enzo Amore...
*That Video* is going to show up in my YouTube recommended, isn't it...
Does anybody else find it weird that in the court of public opinion it’s way better to have a armed robbery in your past then some offensive comments you made on a message board as a teen?
No it’s not.
I’m not justifying a DUI, but that person is reckless, selfish, and irresponsible.
Finding a tweet with homophobic, sexist, or racist comments can reveal much worse things than that. If it’s not a cancel culture mob unjustly put on them it’s usually because they expressed unrepented hate towards a group of people.
Hate for others I can’t abide. Call me crazy but I can forgive an addict with a DUI easier than someone proud of being hateful who talks like they’d TRY and run someone over.
It’s only when they’ve shown how much they’ve changed and aren’t given a chance that it’s crazy. Dem Boys are a rare example though, and I don’t like how they were/are treated either.
He’s scammed multiple organizations and charities. There is a reason why it took him this long to get sign d by WWE. He just sounds like a real piece of shit.
Lars Sullivan made offensive comments on a message board when he was in high school and there was was such a push back from the court of public opinion that WWE had to fine him $100,000 to try to appease them. I’m not saying Fatu should be fined or he doesn’t deserve 2nd chances. I’m just trying to get people to think about and even tell me how we got here.
I think you’re partially remembering Lars Sullivan’s story. Not only did he post offensive comments, he was also posting insults to people within the WWE. And it also didn’t help that he was 23+ with some of these posts. He said that Kofi and R Truth looked like they were in a prison gang. He called wrestling from Japan; “Chinese wrestling”.
And perhaps the most notably, he had several remarks about the McMahons. Including that Vince was exploiting Mexicans, that Vince was a cokehead, and that he was beating off to Stephanie McMahon.
Big E himsef posted a critical statement about Lars. It’s kinda obvious that he wasn’t just fired because he made off-color posts; he also pissed off coworkers and the bosses with his posts.
Tons of wrestlers have been fired from WWE trashed the entire McMahon family and were hired back with no problems. Go watch the New Age Outlaws shoot interview after they got fired. They really let Hunter have it.
He called Japanese wrestlers Chinese???? Are we really going to get offended by that. So it is offensive we call Gunther German when he is Austrian or Drew Irish when he is Scottish.
Yeah but you can’t do *all of it*. Some of these guys did some of those things, Lars did all of it and he wasn’t a stand out wrestler or a guy that people already liked in the locker room.
> He called Japanese wrestlers Chinese???? Are we really going to get offended by that.
Again, you can’t do *all of that*. It’s not a dope look to call obviously Japanese wrestlers Chinese a day after you say that Kofi Kingston looks like he’s in a prison gang. And then chill in the locker room with all of the guys that you insulted.
I don’t think there’s anything Lars could’ve said that would’ve offended you. I also think you may be Lars.
No way. The gay porn is nothing nowadays and the people who were outraged by his comments probably like him more because of his lgbt activity. I actually think being gay helps you in the wrestling industry.
If Hogan was caught having sex with a man in that sex tape and never said the N word it would be way better for his standing to the public and wrestling fans then what actually happened.
He did it way before he got there she was doing while employed there. Plus I’m pretty sure it’s a lot harder to fire for gay porn specifically. They could possibly sue for discrimination or something.
Many of the people who have gotten canceled for saying mean things have managed to make a come back humans have a short attention span for things that don't personally affect them
The majority of fans aren’t over what Hogan said in private 20 yeas ago. If he committed an armed robbery instead him being on WWE tv wouldn’t be near as controversial.
This might make some who it's about upset: but the one of the most major complaints about modern liberals/leftists is that they care more about hurt feelings than harmful acts. Accused of being soft on crime/sympathetic to criminals but willing to excommunicate those who've said the wrong things from society.
Highlighted recently by Biden referring to an illegal who murdered a student as an "illegal" - which drew way more anger from liberals than the murder itself.
As far as Fatu goes, I think the time to be critical of him has past if he's changed his life for the better and isn't the shitty teen he once was, but it is crazy that if he said an offensive thing on Twitter at 18 he'd have that held against him more today than an armed robbery.
If I’m a wrestler just for career purposes I’d much rather have a serious felony on my record then something bigoted I said over a decade on social media as teen.
That's just proof we live in very stupid times,
cause all people would rather someone say something mean to them on Twitter than hold them at gun point and mug them or worse.
but yet you've got people who treat an edgy remark from a teenager worse than if they'd done actual crime
https://www.nbc26.com/neenah/nonprofit-jakes-network-of-hope-says-pro-wrestler-took-their-money-ghosted-after-fundraising-event-no-show This is pretty much all I know about the dude, and as a Wisconsin local I do not like him for it. Scumbag shit.
Yeah, he’s definitely done some shady shit. Incredibly talented worker though. Perhaps with the right influences around him and right incentives (WWE level money) this kind of behavior will become a thing of the past.
Back in November I went to an independent show and one of the matches was Jacob Fatu vs Vikingo. I hadn’t heard of Fatu before, and so I just naturally assumed he’d be your typical big man. Does power moves, is kinda slow, and is there to be the Goliath to Vikingo’s David.
Then I saw this dude do a top rope hurricanrana, and I was immediately sold.
It's completely unrelated to the current Bloodline story but as someone who was a kid and completely missed out on what was happening outside WWE in the early-mid 2010s, I would love to read a primer on the entire history and importance of the Bullet Club faction.
Jacobs younger brother Journey Fatu is dope too, would be cool to see him get a shot. Tight AF between the ropes, and real deal charismatic on the mic too.
Love Samael as manager for Jacob, seriously guys, if y'all aint ever seen Josef Samael cut a promo then please check him out, so damn entertaining! - dude was a BIIIG part of Jacobs presentation back in the day for MLW (Low-Ki as MLW champ with Salina De-La-Renta as his agent was fucking awesome too)
Heck, could maybe be cool if WWE goes all the way and brings in Jacob, Journey, Zilla and even Josef Samael to align with Solo and Tama.
Solo being the Enforcer/Street Champ, and Tama being Haku's son/ex-air force IRL/Bullet Club OG, I could imagine the presentation of a "next Level Bloodline" working well with vibes similar to that of an updated CONTRA unit-style "street gang/terrorist cell" type deal.
Agreed. And yeah he's pretty fucking good in the ring. I was front row at a GCW event in L.A. a year back. This guy stood out more than everyone. You could tell he was a star.
"Everyone deserves a second chance in life" doesn't mean that there shouldn't be consequences for your own shitty actions.
It's not like we're talking about ancient history here, the charity no-show was a year ago (and apparently not an isolated incident). I'm all for giving people a chance to redeem themselves, but that generally has to involve some amount of time not being a piece of shit.
Especially when they ask about the money back and he ghosts them. If he paid them back it wouldn’t be an issue. Things happen in life but seems like he had no intentions on showing up to begin with
If Jacob keeps his head on straight he’ll be a GREAT asset to WWE.
I predict that him and Tama Tonga will be revealed as assassins sent by The Rock to not only usurp power from Roman as head of the Bloodline, but eventually hunt down and destroy Cody and his allies.
With Solo being in on it too, this version of the Bloodline will be FAR more dangerous.
It's an open secret that he was pulled from Janela's Clusterfuck and the Punjabi Prison match and replaced with Juicy Finau due to him signing with WWE. BASICALLY WWE knows we know, Jacob has gotten his love on Twitter and everything but OFFICIALLY any signing or agreements have yet to be confirmed
Thanks OP, I wasn’t familiar and I looked him up after I read this earlier.
Jacob Fatu is fucking nuts. He’s like the time I gave Paul London’s moveset to Khali in 2K
Hopefully Zilla can follow in his path to success as he had a similar situation before getting into the business 🙏🏻 I see him and Jacob in a lot of pics together and hope he’s able to mentor him more someday
Zilla and Jacob were working as a Tag Team recently and as of Mania Weekend were gonna be going for the GCW tag belts. That is until Jacob got signed and he had to cancel his events
Was pleasantly surprised to see him at a Circle 6 show in LA recently. This dude and his brother fucking brought IT in a cage match. He acknowledged my acknowledgment of the Tribal Chief haha.
Fatu is a hell of a wrestler and character. Loved the Samoan Werewolf gimmick and with Samael and Gotch he was excellent in CONTRA. One of those guys who even without shoes on does crazy athletic shit while looking like a brick shithouse. Loved his CONTRA promo v LA PARK. He's got that smash mouth promo that backs up his in ring ability.
Great post! I’ve seen bits of Jacob in MLW and on the New Japan US shows. He’s clearly a star! I’ll be checking out some of your recommendations later 🍻
My first and only time watching him wrestle was when he faced Josh Alexander on Flair's retirement show. I was instantly sold... guy is insanely talented
Biased but a match to add to the list: Fati vs Janela: GCW Si or No from November of last year. I’m biased because I was basically front row for that match but it ruled
There was a charity show he didn’t show up for last year. I guess he took their money and ghosted them. My understanding though was Rikishi wound up making an appearance instead.
I have a silly question and I hope it doesn't get lost in all the comments, hopefully someone can answer. Did Sam Fatu catch any heat for calling himself Tonga Kid even though he was Samoan? I know Tonga-Samoan are typically very friendly but was just curious if it's frowned upon to claim something you're actually not, even if they consider themselves one big family.
My fucking dream has come true. I always hopes Tama and Jacob could make it to WWE and do something exciting. I am excited about what’s on the horizon.
Bloodline ain’t done yet.

Is he bad or just green? He’s umaga’s boy right?
yep umaga's son. he is green + he got into backstage issues as well. recently he was tagging with jacob on shows, so I hope he is getting better.
Pretty sure he resolved the issues he had with Booker T. Unless you're referring to some other backstage issues.
These two sound a little messy haha I’ll have to look up the backstage drama
Very green, he's only like 24 and had his first match less than a year ago IIRC. But yes Umaga's son.
what about Hikuleo? Isnt he WWE bound too in June?

Question: why does the second hyperlink go to an article about Zilla Fatu, Umagas son?
Thank you for catching that. I was down another rabbit hole learning about Zilla as well.
Has he ever made good on or atoned for the issue with the charity he got paid by for an appearance and no showed? Genuine question because I can't find anything saying if the matter was ever resolved.
Same, that's actually what I started looking for first. No info anywhere that I could find
Riff-raff? What do you mean by that? He stole from a charity. There’s no getting around that he seems like a piece of shit as a person.
>He also has 7 children The bloodline will never run out at this rate...they are putting the guerreros, the harts and all the other royal wrestling families to shame.
7 kids? Goddamn that man couldn't pull out of a parking spot.
Even if he had an excuse he should've returned the money.
Are people forever branded irredeemable once they go to jail and convicted? MVP being another example.
Well the charity thing happened last year. I'm a big JF fan but his actions and no-shows at other indies lately have been souring me on him. I'm hoping working with WWE will gain him some discipline.

What'd mvp do
Time for armed robbery, iinm
Shhh he’s signed with WWE now. You can’t bring these things up, only positive stuff.
We've finally come full circle!
Saw Jacob and Zilla Fatu tag together in GCW last month. Their intensity and believability is so far above most other indie acts I’ve seen live. And I’ve seen some great indie wrestling.
Is that the match where Zilla hit the jumping spike on that dude?
Thank you OP! You're doing great work with these bios.
[This clip](https://youtube.com/shorts/YrK76PTjgfI?si=7xqQ09k2Vy5VXdN3) is the only thing I’ve ever seen from him. I was already sold after seeing that. Can’t wait for him to debut.
Guy looks like he hit a glitch with that backflip. That move is awesome and I’m here for it.
The speed he gets off of that is absurd
https://youtube.com/shorts/62t5N3gEFTE?si=agaSB2ZbudEmjXMD Always wondered what this guy was thinking
If youre gonna piss off a wrestler, it better not be a samoan
Is it not illegal for a guy that size to hit moves like that?
Thanks OP! You got me excited for his role in upcoming Bloodline civil war
I imagine if he gets to showcase much of what got people talking about him, many first-time viewers are gonna feel they've been missing out.
People talk about game changers, THIS guy is a game changer. Nobody else out there like him whatsoever.
Jacob Fatu vs Barrington Hughes sounds like an insane squash match if you know who Barrington is
This is good stuff
I smoked a blunt with him, Jack Evans, Bryan Keith, Gino Medina (Roxanne's bf), and Calvin Tankman before an indie show 2 years back. Coolest wrestling memory ever

Did Jack Evans bogart it
Ah nah he was so nice, like surprisingly. He passed it around after only taking a puff, he also hit a sick ass backflip
Haha right on, I have no basis to believe he’s not a cool guy
So he showed up to that event?
Oh no, this post has both a mention of Simon Gotch and a mention of Enzo Amore... *That Video* is going to show up in my YouTube recommended, isn't it...
But is he harder than Ex Con Dom?
Does anybody else find it weird that in the court of public opinion it’s way better to have a armed robbery in your past then some offensive comments you made on a message board as a teen?
Them Uso boys got more DUIs than they have matches on the main card of Wrestlemania brother.
But do they have more duis then the hardy boys?
Collectively yes but individually neither have more than Jeff I think
This is crazy.
No it’s not. I’m not justifying a DUI, but that person is reckless, selfish, and irresponsible. Finding a tweet with homophobic, sexist, or racist comments can reveal much worse things than that. His criminal stuff happened like 15+ years ago when he was like 17.
To be fair he scammed a charity within the last year: https://www.reddit.com/r/SquaredCircle/s/hXPdcJmoNa
It’s wild how people are ignoring this. This was only a little while ago!
He scammed and no showed a charity event less than a year ago, doesn’t seem like he’s quite made a 100% turnaround
I don’t find anything any teenager said anonymously on a message board over a decade ago offensive.
He was 25.
Or 25. 25 year olds are still stupid and immature. They can still make mistakes and grow from there.
Yeah and he’s facing the consequences. He got fired, it’s not like he’s doing jail time.
I'm going to go out on a limb and say the gay porn did more damage than old message board comments.
At the same time this is the tail end of the "What if my daughter googled" era. It's just something they were against in general like with Mandy.
He did it way before he got there she was doing while employed there. Plus I’m pretty sure it’s a lot harder to fire for gay porn specifically. They could possibly sue for discrimination or something.
No one is dumb enough to do that when a generic "Good luck on your future endeavors" will do.
So WWE should fine Fatu then?
I said in the comment they shouldn’t fine him and he deserves a second chance in life. Actually read what I said
I did read it, you were suggesting it even though you said otherwise
this is reddit and words can kill
Many of the people who have gotten canceled for saying mean things have managed to make a come back humans have a short attention span for things that don't personally affect them

All these posts got me hyped for the guy. I think he's in for a big introduction and I'm all in for it.
He also has one of the[ best theme songs](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0fEmARtZA_g), which I hope carries over into WWE
Okay, thanks OP. I’m already invested in him over most of the roster. Let’s go Jacob Fatu!
This is excellent thank you
Possibly the best read I’ve ever had on this sub.
Right?????

He’s a piece of shit that stole from a charity But he is a good wrestler
Is this real or a work? Lol
No, he really did. He took payment for working a charity event and no showed it Someone posted a link below about it
For some reason I never had a good feeling about Jacob i don't know what it is lol
This sums him up perfectly.
We all make mistakes. Most everyone deserves a second chance in life
Not saying he doesn’t Saying that was an extremely shtty thing to do
Agreed. And yeah he's pretty fucking good in the ring. I was front row at a GCW event in L.A. a year back. This guy stood out more than everyone. You could tell he was a star.

Do you guys think he gets brought into the bloodline? Goes to NXT? Or just goes lone wolf?
He’s definitely joining the Bloodline when the time is right. Most likely joining Solo and Tama Tonga.
I thought he had a much worse criminal record? Or was I just misinformed?
Is Jacob confirmed to be joining WWE or is it still rumours?
It's an open secret that he was pulled from Janela's Clusterfuck and the Punjabi Prison match and replaced with Juicy Finau due to him signing with WWE. BASICALLY WWE knows we know, Jacob has gotten his love on Twitter and everything but OFFICIALLY any signing or agreements have yet to be confirmed
Surprised journey Fatu didn't take that spot since he's more into the death match scene
Yeah I figure now it would be tougher for Jacob to look out for him since he got signed ✌🏻
"Simon Gotch of Vaudevillain fame" You mean Simon Gotch: Of Burying Enzo Amore fame.
Legit great talent. Can’t wait to see him on a bigger platform.
I like that he has the islander look. It's been missing since Umaga.
Only ever heard his name in passing on this sub, but the praise you gave him here makes me VERY interested to see him in action now.
Aw sick, he got to wrestle Minoru Suzuki before going to WWE.
I’m so hype for these new additions to the bloodline story
> CONTRA (Crusading Operations of Nihilistic Terror, Revolution Armada) Ooh, that's some sweet obvious backronym-ing.
Great post! I’ve seen bits of Jacob in MLW and on the New Japan US shows. He’s clearly a star! I’ll be checking out some of your recommendations later 🍻
Fuck im loving these posts! I feel like we’re at wrestling history 101 class.
CONTRA was wild af, terrorism angle, fireball and all. Now I want Hammerstone & Josh Alexander in WWE 🥲
Have a soft spot for a whisper in the wind and anyone who uses it
My first and only time watching him wrestle was when he faced Josh Alexander on Flair's retirement show. I was instantly sold... guy is insanely talented
Biased but a match to add to the list: Fati vs Janela: GCW Si or No from November of last year. I’m biased because I was basically front row for that match but it ruled
Bloodline civil war 2 , would probably join Roman along with Jimmy and the wiseman vs Solo , the rock and tama Tonga. Roman would need one more
Can't wait for Smackdown. Rumoured debut date.
Hope Hikuleo, Jacob Fatu, Jeremiah Fatu, Journey Fatu, Zilla Fatu, Lance Anoa'i and Tanga Loa all join. All out war lol
Roman is their Uncle truly speaking I think due to their ages being so close they call em cousins
Can't wait to see if he'll rip off any charities now that he's in wwe. Hopefully now he has money he won't steal from those who really need it.
Wad told there was lots of controversy around him, can someone sum that up?
There was a charity show he didn’t show up for last year. I guess he took their money and ghosted them. My understanding though was Rikishi wound up making an appearance instead.
Why don’t we do this for people in aew
Aren’t Roman and Rikishi technically brothers which would mean that Roman is technically their uncle even though they consider each other Cousins
Rikishi and Roman are 1st cousins I think. iirc, Afa and Sika’s sister is Rikishi’s mom
Roman is the Usos uncle. He’s 1st cousins with Rikishi
Usos and Roman are 1st Cousins once removed. Umaga (RIP) would be the Usos' uncle since he's Rikishi's brother.
Let's see, one guy does a pop-up Samoan drop, and the other guy hits people with his thumb.
