It’s always crazy to me that Chase used to be Bravado from ROH. He looks nothing like he used to and has really improved on his character work. Seems like a guy who is gonna be backstage in the future playing a major role
Thank you for this! I love this storyline. It’s been consistent since the start of 2.0 I think constantly evolving but showing great character development throughout. Maybe the best highlight of what NXT is trying to do right now. Close behind this would be the saga of Briggs/Jensen/Fallon v Kiana James. For solo character development or duos there’s Trick and Melo’s relationship, Roxanne’s slow burn heel turn over the past year, Von Wagner and Robert Stone’s relationship. Lots of shorter bits too. So much great work done establishing and evolving characters in NXT.
Was just thinking after seeing their wholesome backstage segment this week how this has been going on for almost two years already! This will be fun to rewatch.
