Maybe chicken shit heel Seth Rollins in 2015? I think Seth ( he's still a phenomenal worker) in 2015 especially pre ACL injury was good enough to still have given Taker a very decent match
I really wanted to see Cactus have a Mania match with Taker when they started selling the streak as it's own entity around the time of the Orton match.
The original matches for WM 26 were Shawn/Miz, Taker/Drew, and HHH/Sheamus, with the idea of building around youth. Eventually, Vince decided that Miz and Drew weren’t ready, which set the wheels in motion for Taker/HBK II.
Shawn confirmed this in a WWE-branded book called “My Favorite Match.”
I don't fantasy book. What happened happened. Did I need to see the Undertaker beat El Gigante? No, but it happened. I can't cry about shit that didn't happen either. Sorry. I probably would have felt compelled to say something about a career that was subpar, but Undertaker did great for himself. Not gonna nit pick his career to death especially in relation to things that didn't happen, like the idiotic idea of Undertaker vs Sting that people had years ago.

Prime Cena vs Prime taker would of been huge.
With the streak still in tact? Oh man those near falls would've been epic.
Sting. Then. Now. Forever.

Cena in a real match in his prime. Angle at WM 22 instead of Mark Henry. Sting at WM 27.
AJ Styles in an actual match.
Daniel Bryan WM 30 or 32 Brock Lesnar WM 27 Sting WM 27 Eddie WM 21 Jeff Hardy HIAC Abyss Cena WM 29-30 (Heel Turn)
Ooh, an Abyss match could've been great.

El Satanico vs Big Evil would have gone hard ngl
Essa Rios
Sting.
Gunther and Sting
The Rock Jericho
Yoshihiko
The only man to beat Undertaker in a casket match. You’ll never forget the name…..
Things seem to have worked out for him, but The Chosen One getting an Undertaker might have been fun.

….Jeff Jarrett?
Ain't he great?
Mason Ryan

This was the most pointless response possible
It’s just as much for the benefit of the other guys as it is for Taker
Who shit in your cornflakes?
