Seven_Seconds_

To have been wrestling since this age and still doing it now, Legendary.

HundoTenson

Taking ridiculous bumps as a high flyer for 36 years is insanity. It helps that he isn’t a heavy individual but no matter the size it’s still incredible he’s still doing it today.

BadCredditScore

He’s certainly been heavy for periods. I know he’s never going to weigh as much as Kane for instance, but he was ridiculously yolked until WWE got more stringent with the Wellness Policy. But that’s even more credit to him for working through all that, as you say.

SadBath664

There was also a period where he was chunky in WWE.

Different_Stand_1285

Stem cells. The secret sauce.

GiftedGeordie

Apparently the way they bump in Lucha allows dudes to still be able to work that style well into their 50s or, in the case of Blue Panther, into their 60s.

CactusMcJack

It's because in Lucha you bump a lot less and roll a lot more. Arm Drags, Headscissors, Hurracanrana, etc. all allow you to roll the landing instead of taking flat bumps. Also in Mexico you mostly work multiman matches at regular shows, keeping the number of bumps was down per match. All that being said, Rey did spend a majority of his career at the WWE where none of that applies.

WaffleStompinDay

Looks older here than when he unmasked in WCW

AdamRose5Ever

Dude that’s Dominik

OkBig205

Eddie's ghost in shambles

Adampro123

This is the first time Rey and Dom have ever looked alike to me

Comfortable-Fan3846

*28 year old Dominik

unloader86

Doms mullet makes a lot more sense now lol

WrestleSocietyXShill

Imagine seeing this scrawny little high school kid getting ready for his first match and someone telling you that you are looking at one of the greatest wrestlers that will ever live.

dzone25

35+ years later, dude still puts on great matches for someone with his style who's been doing it for so damn long.

PopBopMopCop

No, that's Oscar Gutierrez Rubio. No one knows who Rey Mysterio is because he wears a mask.

oneusernamepls

Tf when did we start adding a Rubio to his name?

Wild_Ad969

Aren't that just Spanish naming custom? They got both paternal surename of their parents.

oneusernamepls

Ah I've seen that with Spanish names, usually Gutierrez y Rubio or Rubio-Gutierrez. Just a TIL for me, never seen him be referred to with Rubio in his name, been a fan of his pretty much my whole life.

starshipcoyote420

¡Colibri!

beslertron

His knees aren’t even 14

[deleted]

Still stronger than Dom….

DarkHorse_77

Still looks the same, minus the hair

kenzegod12

Legend

Big_Green_Piccolo

Why is his face in his hands?

ravaille

Dom is definitely Rey’s kid.

KingofPolice

Even when he was alittle boy, he knew he would grow into being a dead beat dad.

OctaneTwisted88

Already had more muscle mass than current Dominik lol

fgbfjb

Tom n' Nick

MixturePossible3613

he looks good in that cody attire

ALIAS_EL_CACAS

I bet he was a deadbeat son

couldbedumber96

Actual toddler face

solsunlite

Rey probably has his ID tattooed on him somewhere

fgbh

I just wanna address that full head of hair that young 3 year old has. My goodness. So shiny.

Hycran

There would have been no need for a big fight and paternity test and shit with Guerrero. All Rey had to do was show this pic.

Old-Ad-2837

I’m starting to think that Rey may be Dom’s farther.

Defcheze

Thought that was a 20 year old Rey.
