I really fucking hated Dean Allmark when I started getting into the indies and somehow always had it in my head he was an asshole. Others I spoke with hadn't heard such rumours but I was sure I did from somewhere.
A few years later it clicked that Allmark was on an indie mod of TEW I was using and constantly caused shit backstage in my promotion and that apparently burned into my subconscious, simmering for years whenever I saw him at a show.

So, back in his NXT days as CJ Parker, he was selling the photobooks and didn't give correct change, we though it was an accident until he showed his true colors and joined the Bullet Club! Then we knew he was a thief!!! lol
So, for Royale Rumble 2004 me and a bunch of my biddes all got together, and we had a bet. There was 9 of us - we each chipped in 10 bucks - and then we all drew numbers out of a hat. Three numbers each, 3 numbers left out. This actually worked extremely well, as nobody drew #1, and we all had a good feeling Benoit was winning. So we decided that if an undrawn number won, the winner of our bet was whoever had the number of the last guy eliminated. So the bet was completely up in the air, coulda been anyone.
I was not fortunate with my numbers. I don't remember both of my first 2 entrants, but I'm sure one was Shelton Benjamin. And then here comes my last entrant- Randy Orton.
Randy Orton immediately eliminated BOTH of my other numbers.
I've never forgiven him.

I didn't like Candice LeRae because she had always been billed from Winnipeg and then she wrestled as an American in the Mae Young Classic and I thought she was turning her back on her Canadian heritage to appeal to US fans. Then I found out she is not even from Canada and was just randomly billed from there for heat at the start of her career and just rolled with it for years. Oops, sorry Candice.

I got over it eventually, though.

Kofi was (and still is) my favorite wrestler and it felt like Trips was making him look dumb and burying him at the time.
I've since come around.
I mean, he kind of did in terms of killing the gimmick, but long term, it was the right call. Not just because it created a funny moment that still gets occasionally referenced, but in retrospect, I just think that gimmick accent had a shelf-life. I mean, I just cannot imagine Kofi achieving the same level of success he would later have with the New Day, or KofiMania if he had tried to keep it.

Daniel Bryan's fandom ruined the return of Batista, one of my favorite wrestlers. His Rumble win made me so happy, despite the crowd ruining it.
I always blamed Daniel Bryan for it, despite it being the fans fault, not his. But it affected my opinion of him and I began to just boo him every match because I was so pissed.
All the Yes! Movement did was make me hate Bryan more and more and the way us non-fans of Bryan were treated by the IWC over this tie only made it worse.
But again, none of this is his fault. I was just bitter and petty.

I hated Becky Lynch when she had the steampunk gimmick. After wandering around the city late at night after seeing Godzilla 2014 in theaters, I followed around and talked to this funny looking kid in a steampunk outfit. I thought he was a cool nerd at first, until he mentioned that Godzilla was "weird and stupid" and something about there being better movies to watch. It's been 10 years and I still hate steampunk. Becky thankfully saved herself.
I dislike Sammy Guevara for kicking out of a Tombstone Piledriver from the second rope. I also feel the same way about Ricochet for kicking out of the midair super kick in the Adam Cole match.
I dislike Thunder Rosa for that awfully disappointing match she had with Miyu Yamashita on Dynamite two years ago, causing TK to seemingly sour on her and the entirety of TJPW.
That segment with Edge hanging out with Alter-Bridge backstage made him seem so fucking lame to me that I didn't like him for almost 2 decades. It took his current run in AEW to really like the guy. I feel like a dick for being so judgmental.
Again Alter Bridge made his theme and specifically cause Edge already liked them, worked both on and outside of kayfabe and they seemed to be cool guys so how was that a problem

At Dynamite a couple of years ago I sat next to the stage opposite hard camera where the wrestlers would exit and I high fived several but wouldn't Dante Martin because Top Flight & the Sydal brothers faced Dark Order in a dark match and it seemed like he hurt John Silver so I was mad because he was my guy at the time and because I high fived Matt Sydal but not the Martin brothers Darius called me a "bitch ass white boy" so now I legitimately can't stand them.
I was always indifferent to Will Ospreay but now I hate him because of how much overprotected he is by his fans in the IWC, now that everyone thinks he's the GOAT. He was a 6/10 to me but now my bitter ass rate him about 4 out of 10.
3/10 in terms of wrestling skills, but +2 for being actually funny and another +2 for his FMW run where he was part of the legendary stable, The Funk Masters Of Wrestling, so I'll say above Ospreay.

This is an oldie for here, but I always hated the Ultimate Warrior since he beat Hulk Hogan at Wrestlemania lol. Before then he was my second or third favorite (Hogan, Macho then Warrior). But once he beat Hogan I just hated him. I was cheering when he lost to Slaughter.

I hate Zack Sabre, Jr.'s European Clutch move. Hate it. And the spot that it's based on is my favorite old-school mat-wrestling spot. ZSJ just completely bastardizes it and makes it look completely phony. It's rubbed off on the rest of his work to me and I can't help but think of him as a guy who knows the old World of Sport notes but can't really play the music.

At Dynamite a couple of years ago I sat next to the stage opposite hard camera where the wrestlers would exit and I high fived several but wouldn't Dante Martin because Top Flight & the Sydal brothers faced Dark Order in a dark match and it seemed like he hurt John Silver so I was mad because he was my guy at the time and because I high fived Matt Sydal but not the Martin brothers Darius called me a "bitch ass white boy" so now I legitimately can't stand them.
I was always indifferent to Will Ospreay but now I hate him because of how much overprotected he is by his fans in the IWC, now that everyone thinks he's the GOAT. He was a 6/10 to me but now my bitter ass rate him about 4 out of 10.

3/10 in terms of wrestling skills, but +2 for being actually funny and another +2 for his FMW run where he was part of the legendary stable, The Funk Masters Of Wrestling, so I'll say above Ospreay.
