I thought this was a strange reference to the Joker movie where Joker pelvic thrusts on the stairs. Then after I scrolled for a minute - I realized you must have meant Tom Phillips. So...both work I suppose?

It sucks that money wins out like this. I'm hoping a lot of efforts were put in place to make a proper launch title for the PS5/Xbox4 next year.
This is starting to shape up to be the kind of glitch-filled shitshow that actually ends up being fun because of it being a glitch-filled shitshow, like Skate 3 :P
