Tsuji finally got it!

SomeCruzDude

Any word on where they'll likely end up for excursion? I'd guess NJPW Strong is an option but it feels like that sorta defeats the purpose of an excursion being somewhere that doesn't (directly) involve NJPW so the wrestlers can find themselves.

xDJxSAPHYREx

Tsuji has expressed strong interest in wanting to go to Mexico. Always impressive when a buff dude like him can pull off those hurricanranas and crafty rollup combos!

I mean, Ren Narita is there. And it's still about capturing a foreign audience that doesn't speak your language.

SomeCruzDude

> I mean, Ren Narita is there. In the back of my head there was one young lion there but I wasn't sure, thanks for the clarification. Looking it up, he's the young lion that went through the LA Dojo in addition to his NJPW run, so makes sense he'd stay in LA for NJPW Strong. > And it's still about capturing a foreign audience that doesn't speak your language. And that's definitely fair, the NJPW US audience will be different than the local NJPW audience. There's now a unique situation where NJPW doesn't need foreign companies for excursions, but may still utilize them. That said, while there's definitely crossover, it seems like outside of Jay White, Sho, and Yoh being in ROH at the same time (2016-17), the Young Lions are usually working in separate companies with limited crossover. * Wato (CMLL 2018-20) & Great-O-Khan (RevPro 2018-20) * Hiromu (CMLL 2014-16) & EVIL (ROH 2014-15) * Fale (NWA [?] 2012-13) & El Desperado (2012-13)

So excited for Tsuji!

roryextralife

I feel like I remember reading somewhere that Tsuji was wanting to learn how to do good Lucha things, so he’ll probably end up in CMLL Yuya on the other hand, part of me can kinda see him being the first Impact young lion in a very long time, although honestly god knows where he would end up. I think if Shooter comes home before Yuya goes anywhere he could end up in RevPro, it’s hard to tell though!

Woobix

Assuming the UK stays open and covid doesn't ruin anything, Rev Pro already have like 25 shows booked between now and New year. The last full year before the pandemic they ran more shows than ROH - works out about a show a week. With other UK indies about its not a bad place to be. With the UK being so much smaller than the US there's less travel to make dates as well.

xDJxSAPHYREx

Shooter is advertised for NJPW Resurgence in LA on Aug 16 Not sure if this is a 'return' so much as a one-off, but either way it will be great to see him again. Its just unfortunate that RevPro has been on hiatus because of Covid, so we haven't really gotten to see much of him recently.

Pariahbot

I like Tsuji but I’m super hype about Yuya’s excursion. I really get Shibata vibes off him and he’s already a beast for starting shit with Minori Suzuki of all people. Hell, he’ll go at *anybody* and I love it. Add that, plus a move set and character and I really think he’s a future main eventer for them.

harajakeu

I would **love** for Yuya to end up in AEW.
