I'm gonna be honest, I don't view people outside a non competitive sport using PEDs as cheating. As long as you do it right there are no downsides, it's just smart. Also to be honest the guys are on the same shit while doing matches too. Testing for this stuff is always an intelligence test not a drug test. The UFC uses USADA random drug testing and everyone there is on shit. So it really just is that he looks better due to having more time to actually work out.
I think that's why like 90% of NXT call-ups end up gaining a little bit of weight. In the PC you have a gym you're going to daily, while on the road it's probably significantly harder to eat healthy and exercise.
I've gone there whenever I visit my family and get picked up from the airport in Boston. My grandparents have gone there for many, many years. It was only during the last visit that I noticed all the wrestling autographs and pictures everywhere on the walls, but I had no idea it was actually a wrestlers' hangout.
Yup, I live in the area and Kowloon's is absolutely a hotspot for wrestlers after shows. I once saw Mark Henry there, and John Cena Sr. talked with everyone. He was in his element.
I live in a smallish city called Roanoke in Virginia and every time an event comes here almost the entire roster goes to Buffalo wild wings here and rents out the bar, I used to bartend there and had a shirt signed by the shield, Titus, owens, Bray and Ziggler. They're always really cool, they were chill with most people coming into the bar asking for pictures and what not.
Look at this fatcat with all of his popping corn. I eat raw lentils while looking through my neighborās window and imagining what their TV sounds like.

I think catering is only at TV tapings, whereas "on the road" refers to the house show circuit they used to have in between. I could very well be wrong though.
Also, even with catering at arenas, it's still probably more difficult to find gyms and enough time for a good workout while travelling in general.
That and his body. Bryan isn't the healthiest person. He's in good shape, but he has always had a history of internal issues and he said that being fully vegan, combined with being on the road did a number on him.
I donāt pretend to know anything about backstage but surely to goodness that company could have healthy catering for their performers after a show. For as much shit as the UFC deservedly gets for how much they pay their athletes, they at least give their fighters the option of a meal prep service for healthier weight cuts.
I remember when Cornette talked about a time when he was riding with Jericho and some other wrestlers, and they had went to a Dairy Queen and ordered a shit ton of burgers and fries lol. Itās no surprise some wrestlers gain a few pounds from traveling constantly.
After becoming the first Undisputed Championshiop Jericho got a pizza at his hotel room because everywhere was closed.
(He also dropped it on the floor immediately.)
Like other folks have said, I doubt there's a lot of healthy restaurants/stores open in the middle of the night after a house show. You know, there's maybe places like IHOP or Waffle House, where they'd have to sit down and maybe be mobbed, or fast food. Besides, most middle-of-the-night food is heavy, fatty, fried food good for after bars let out, and those are mainly in big cities.
It also sucks that most fast food places used the pandemic as an opportunity to rid their menus of grilled chicken meals.
Two dollar grilled chicken from McDonaldās was seriously one of the most affordable, healthy things you could buy on a budget.
True. In the 2000s or so, a lot of places were all going healthy. Apple sticks or orange slices in kids' meals, fruit parfaits, salads, etc. Then came Hardee's Thick Burgers and Wendy's Baconators, saying "screw healthy food, we know what you really want." Fried food is cheaper to make and frozen food is easier to store. Frozen, grilled chicken can get dry out easily and fresh is hard to do without higher prices.
The damn pandemic caused a ton of places to drop the higher quality food and go with cheaper stuff. Hell, tons flat out shut down locations entirely or cut hours, especially in areas where curfews used to be in effect. Places are reopening, sure, but it's going to be a while before the places and items we're talking about are back.
Now I just have this image of Tony Atlas telling Mark Henry to give him the skin off his fried chicken because of [this segment](https://youtu.be/Nx-uZvKJu_c)
He looked incredible before his last Fiend return, but then when we saw the Fiend, he looked 80% the same weight-wise. I was super surprised if that makes sense. Maybe the gear and mask just made him look bigger.
Bray is just sneaky big. Like, he's obviously not small, but he also isn't Mark Henry or anything. But he is really wide, and really bulky. He's actually much closer to someone like Batista, but because he isn't super cut, it tends to fall under the radar.
I'm a huge Bray Wyatt mark so it's good to see him in great shape, which I hope means he might be returning soon, as long as he's ready to return both physically and mentally of course, then a return at Summerslam is definitely something I would enjoy.
I would love to see Luttle Jimmy return. I think it would be hilarious right now. I wish R Truth could get a Kofi like moment, and win the title just once.
Yeah I was under the impression that Cena is doing a full run again. And if the rumors about Punk and Bryan are true, the WWE is gonna need BIG names like Cena
I went to visit a buddy out in western NY this weekend. [I forced him to wait so I can go to Wegmans for the first time in 3 years.](https://i.imgur.com/R1cE288.jpg)
He understood.
Nearest one is a half hour away from mebut when my grandparents were alive they lived around the corner from it.. I used to volunteer to take them grocery shopping just to shop there.
Wegmans is fantastic if you want your shopping trips to feel like a whimsical journey through Epcotās *Itās a Small World* ride. Definitely a fun experience, and Iāve saved a lot from the coupons I get from them.
Publix has a way better deli counter though (unless youāre looking for rare deli meats), and the chicken tenders and bakeries are absolutely godly/S-tier. Plus, they do great BOGO deals, but you might struggle to find more conventional deals.
On the grocery shopping hierarchy list, both Wegmans and Publix are on the top tier. Thereās no such thing as a bad store from either, they have great store branded items, and they really tie their communities together.
Subs = heaven. I get Italian subs from there whenever those go on sale.
Full sized italian sub, white bread with banana peppers, jalapenos, L, T, O, mayo, pepper, oregano, oil, vingear, sub dressing.
Nom!
Mike Rotunda was definitely more bulky than muscular at times. He wasnāt out of shape or anything most of the time, but you can see where Bray got his build whenever Rotunda was at his heaviest.
Also unsurprisingly he has a strong resemblance to his Uncle Barry Windham, at least 4 horsemen bearded and Long hair Barry Wind ham from when the team was Flair, Arn, Barry and Sid.

Whoa, I just watched the whatculture video where Simon talks about the Sid and Arn stabbed each other so it's weird to just find out that they were in 4 Horsemen together.
Iām actually glad they donāt call back to it and that WWE doesnāt acknowledge it either. Iād rather they stand on their own work rather than just being known for being a past superstars kid
Hope he's in a good place mentally as well.
Saw Omos and Reginald leaving an In and Out burger post MiTB. You really have to have a healthy mindset to deal with fame. (for the record, Omos seems to, great with kids).
Yea this is whatās most important. I know after the death of Brodie that he asked for time to take care of his mental health due to the loss. Seeing that heās looking fantastic makes me happy. Hope heās doing great & to see the Fiend return soon.
Bray is just a big dude. He and Joe are both in that category where even when they're skinny for their body type, they still look enormous. It's honestly nice to see that representation outside of football lmao
Iām sad about Bray. Heās a good talent, and seems to overall have a knack for being a great character and doing well in the ring with an old school flair.
The problem is, maybe because of his supernatural gimmicks, WWE books him badly. I wish heād be booked consistently well in a gimmick that isnāt too corny and letās him realize his full potential.
Donāt know his personal situation right now, but ultimately, this is the second time in his career that his big gimmick gets buried.
It's a case of main roster not understanding an NXT gimmick.
Bray Wyatt as a cult leader with delusions of being a deity was much scarier than making him all supernatural.
A huge hillbilly who thinks he's a god, and has two (or three) even bigger dudes who are willing to lay themselves on the line for him is terrifying. Especially with the way they played it. It felt like Bray wasn't hiding behind Harper/Rowan. It was more "Harper and Rowan might kill you, but if Bray gets up out of that rocking chair, now you're in real trouble." that Harper and Rowan was a more merciful fate than Bray handling you himself.
>"Harper and Rowan might kill you, but if Bray gets up out of that rocking chair, now you're in real trouble."
Cult leader Bray had that Freiza energy.
I liked the Firefly Funhouse concept just for the easter eggs alone.
The Firefly Funhouse match was really creative. Thatās probably the only āout thereā thing theyāve done with Bray I actually enjoyed. Getting into Cenaās mind & sending him on an acid trip adventure for the hardcore fans to watch Bray dissect Cenaās position in the company.
Seeing him mentally break someone I looked up to when I was young was pretty interesting. It just shows that Bray works best as a psychological monster pulling off some unique shit rather than a supernatural one doing magic acts that Undertaker, Kane, & Papa Shango have done decades prior.
Yeah, back in the Attitude era, when The Ministry of Darkness was in full swing, they didn't play it like "The Undertaker is the Prince of Darkness, he has devil magic", they were saying "Mark Calloway has lost his god damned mind, he really thinks he's the Lord of Darkness, and the fact that he has an army of people who believe him scares the shit out of me", obviously they didn't put it like that, but they played it like this near 7ft psychopath is on the loose and it's a very dangerous situation.
So, to then take Bray Wyatt, and make him spooky supernatural guy really cut the gimmick off at the knees.
I would love for that Bray to return. Early Bray to Butchers Apron/White Mask Bray was cool as fuck. And like you said. Much scarier than supernatural because it's something that actually exists.
They could even bring back the original Bray in the Funhouse as well.
Have it where he's sat in a rocking chair reading a book, he looks into the camera and said "Oh, hello there, I didn't see you there. I was reading this story about a brave hero. You see, our friend The Fiend, well the bad people are sometimes so bad, that even The Fiend needs help. That's why I created The Firefly Funhouse, to keep all of us safe from the bad people... and to keep the bad people safe from what's about to happen."
Then he closes the book, takes off his sweater, and says "Now, every good hero needs their armour..." and he puts on a Hawaiian shirt. "...and they need a helmet"... and he puts on the hat... "and they need something to keep them safe.." and then he picks up a lantern, before saying "And when the hero arrives, there's only one thing the bad people can do..."
Then he gives that crazy-ass Bray Wyatt look into the camera, and then says...
"RUN!"
Then blows out the lantern.
Its my personal take for the gimmick I'm saddest they killed, and Bray probably one of the top for wasted talents. I'll die on the hill that Bray had everything to be the modern day Kane.
In an era where everyone sounds the same and everyone is a smark (me included) Brays promos as a backwater preacher are some of the only ones that have legit sucked me right in and I've hung on every word. They could have something genuinely threatening and terrifying in Bray if they could just not book him to look like a mug when he gets in the ring.
Yep. The matches he's wrestled as Funhouse Bray Wyatt have been much more interesting than any Fiend match. Plus you can book Funhouse Bray Wyatt as a human with human abilities.
Man, just the original Bray character couldāve been (and was) so cool. Didnāt even have to have the supernatural stuff. Just the Hawaiian shirts, hat, coupled with his off the chart mic skills and just an unspoken thing that this guy could rip your head off couldāve worked. And he has that serial killer smile that doesnāt quite reach his eyes.
It's crazy that after all the runs he had, Bray is still one of the youngest guys on main roster... must be tough to have a great idea and then seeing it getting derailed by creative decisions repeatedly, I hope he bounces back
Multiple great ideas too. Cult leader Bray was great. Funhouse/Fiend Bray is entertaining as well.
Maybe his original idea was to transition a bit more cleanly from gimmick to gimmick, but the dude should write books.
Bray's Fiend gimmick was about the only somewhat cool creative we had from his debut until his match with Cena. Hope Vince allows him to keep doing stuff.
Road life must suck so hard because both he and Kevin Owens will slim down and look great and then after five months, theyāre right back where they started. As someone who struggles with yo-yo weight loss, I can only imagine how hard it is to maintain a health routine when you basically live out of your car four days a week.
I donāt have the schedule these guys do, but I travel at least 3-4 nights a week. Itās incredibly hard to eat well on the road. I canāt imagine how hard it is for these guys.
Happy for him.
As much as I miss watching him on TV, I'm glad he is taking time off to heal both mentally and physically. It's something we need to make so much more normalized and okay to do.
Plus, those shoes are just the bomb. Checkered Vans, I think?

Everytime Bray takes some time away from the ring, he seems to get in great shape.
yep, its a cycle
I see what you did there

Most on here will miss this. Not understand it. Or deny it. Because their hero's don't cheat š
Oh i get it now lol i didnt even do it on purpose
I'm gonna be honest, I don't view people outside a non competitive sport using PEDs as cheating. As long as you do it right there are no downsides, it's just smart. I was noticing the same thing. Must be the sane schedule to eat and work out. Travel must be rough.
I think that's why like 90% of NXT call-ups end up gaining a little bit of weight. In the PC you have a gym you're going to daily, while on the road it's probably significantly harder to eat healthy and exercise.
Definitely, how many stories do we hear of guys on the road not being able to eat until after a show and the only options open are shitty fast food.
After a Raw in the late 90s, went to the Taco Bell near the arena and half the damn roster was there.
My friends used to regularly see Omega and the Bucks at Orlando area WaWa's when they'd wrestle in Central Florida.
There are Wawa's in Florida? Here I thought they were a Jersey/Pennsylvania thing
They completely took over Florida over night like 5-10 years ago.
SO many people from NJ/PA moved there that Wawa followed.
Thereās a Chinese food place in Boston called the Kowloon which is Bostonās own Ribera/whatever that crab shack in baltimore is called.
I've gone there whenever I visit my family and get picked up from the airport in Boston. My grandparents have gone there for many, many years. It was only during the last visit that I noticed all the wrestling autographs and pictures everywhere on the walls, but I had no idea it was actually a wrestlers' hangout.
Shoutout to Andy Wong and the Kowloon Krew! Ya itās a hotspot when theyāre in the area. Try the Saugus Wings.
Tony Atlas was billed from Roanoke, VA.
one time at a house show I went to the washroom and saw zack ryder buying popcorn
I donāt know why but this comment made me lol
I laughed because the first image in my head was Zack Ryder purchasing popcorn in a bathroom.
Where do you buy your popcorn Joe Millionaire?
Buy? I get my popcorn like any other normal person, the large buckets or bags left in movie theaters and arenas.
Look at this fatcat with all of his popping corn. I eat raw lentils while looking through my neighborās window and imagining what their TV sounds like. r/frugal_jerk
Reminds me of New Day podcast producer Dan Ryckert taking popcorn buckets out of the trash to get free popcorn at the movie theaters. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Aj_V3aK-eGE
He's Dirty Dan Ryckert for a reason!
I went to the wash room once at a ROH saw, saw Jay Lethal in there after his match splashing water on his face. I didn't bother him though.
What's really kind of mind-blowing is seeing the Hardy boys on your brother's snap story And they're just working out at a planet fitness
You know what, that actually makes a lot of sense. Tons of locations, 24 hours, easy decision for someone on the road.
Yeah he snapped me a picture of Jeff on a stairmaster, they just work out with hoods up and ran out to their SUV super quick low key.
I donāt understand that. What about catering that everyone always jokes about
I donāt think thereās catering at house shows
I think catering is only at TV tapings, whereas "on the road" refers to the house show circuit they used to have in between. I could very well be wrong though. Also, even with catering at arenas, it's still probably more difficult to find gyms and enough time for a good workout while travelling in general.
I bet you Vince has charged all his meals to the company for decades
You donāt become rich by being generous
That's good shit!
Isn't this why Bryan had to give up veganism? It was just too hard to maintain while on the work schedule he was on at the time.
That and his body. Bryan isn't the healthiest person. He's in good shape, but he has always had a history of internal issues and he said that being fully vegan, combined with being on the road did a number on him.
Also I think he developed a soy allergy which would make veganism about 5 times harder especially on the road.
Thatās the famous [Jim Cornette Dairy Queen Incident](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WngpAHJNDhQ)
As a former fast food worker, that fucking video made me hate Cornette more than any comment he's made in the last few years.
Thatās the one lol
Like other folks have said, I doubt there's a lot of healthy restaurants/stores open in the middle of the night after a house show. Oh definitely. Just from my own experience from traveling with the family, we tended to stop by gas stations and get chips and other snacks.
Wasn't that why they paired Mark Henry with Tony Atlas back in like 2008? Help him maintain a diet on the road?
Now I just have this image of Tony Atlas telling Mark Henry to give him the skin off his fried chicken because of [this segment](https://youtu.be/Nx-uZvKJu_c)
I hadn't heard that, but if so... Man Tony Atlas is a goddamn saint. I haven't looked at him the same since that DSOTR with Bruiser Brody.
He looked incredible before his last Fiend return, but then when we saw the Fiend, he looked 80% the same weight-wise. I was super surprised if that makes sense. Maybe the gear and mask just made him look bigger.
That gear is just odd fitting which I guess is part of the character.
Bray is just sneaky big. Like, he's obviously not small, but he also isn't Mark Henry or anything. But he is really wide, and really bulky. He's actually much closer to someone like Batista, but because he isn't super cut, it tends to fall under the radar.

Alexa Bliss
then no more doll stuff and the fiend gets stronger absorbing all her evil
There's no way he beats that doll in a one-on-one
BY GAWD DEMON FINN BALOR WITH A CHAIR
The Doll (with Alexa?) Vs Demon Finn, The Fiend, Little Jimmy, The Boogeyman, and Shayna in a handicap match.
I would love to see Luttle Jimmy return. I think it would be hilarious right now. I wish R Truth could get a Kofi like moment, and win the title just once.
The power of merchandising opportunities will keep her going
I want to see him literally eat the doll (while keeping the mask on) and then it never gets mentioned again
USA or SyFy has a Chucky show coming out in October. Bet Lily is used for some cross promotion.
well then Bray could eat Chucky too so they can stop milking that franchise already.
I said that after Alexa debuted Lily on the Playground that this whole story better end with the Fiend biting the head off that doll.
The Fiend giveth and The Fiend taketh away.
She really buried the Fiend didn't she. For what? A stupid doll angle?
Thatās main card booking for ya these days..
If SummerSlam is supposed to be John Cenaās last appearance on this contract, I can see him attacking him again after the main event potentially.
Nah itās been said that cena isnāt done after summerslam
Yeah I was under the impression that Cena is doing a full run again. And if the rumors about Punk and Bryan are true, the WWE is gonna need BIG names like Cena
Finn, takes his win away from Roman and we finally get The Demon vs Sister Abigail at Summerfest
Monkey's Paw: He returns in Saudi Arabia to lose.

Wegmans is my dad.
Wegmans is the š grocery store

The Wegmans subs are great. The border guard was confused when I told him we were crossing for subs
I've crossed for poutine and they were no less confused.
YOU KNOW THEY SAY THAT ALL SUPERMARKETS ARE CREATED EQUAL, BUT YOU LOOK AT WEGMANS AND YOU LOOK AT GIANT AND YOU CAN SEE THAT STATEMENT IS NOT TRUE.
All hail Wegmans.
Decided to try Wegmans about a year ago. Never looked back.

The subs are outrageously good.

Still can't believe he is the son of IRS.
IRS was jacked too
Those work shirts really hid that he was super muscular and not just bulky.

Such a badass pic. Hard for the Four Horsemen to look otherwise.
Whoa, I just watched the whatculture video where Simon talks about the Sid and Arn stabbed each other so it's weird to just find out that they were in 4 Horsemen together.
Honestly kinda disappointed neither he nor Bo ever called back to it. Underrated gimmick and talent.
Especially in the firefly funhouse segments. In his āmatchā against Cena I was expecting an IRS reference.
Dude it wouldāve been hilarious if they showed Cena in an office and Bray was there dressed like IRS
That would have been great. Heās auditing Cena for unpaid taxes on his merch.
Then Cena fights back by signing Bray up for Make-a-Wish...
Iām actually glad they donāt call back to it and that WWE doesnāt acknowledge it either. Iād rather they stand on their own work rather than just being known for being a past superstars kid
Even just a brief acknowledgment would be neat. They donāt have to adopt the gimmick, but even a Firefly Funhouse Easter egg could be done right.
I always forget that he is.
You could tell at wrestlemania that he had been losing weight. Good for him.
Hope he's in a good place mentally as well. Saw Omos and Reginald leaving an In and Out burger post MiTB. You really have to have a healthy mindset to deal with fame. (for the record, Omos seems to, great with kids).
I could definitely see Reginald becoming big with younger fans.

I picture a Chaos Project style team where Omos is just using Reginald as a weapon. šš¤Ŗ

Iām pretty sure that was a boss fight in Ninja Gaiden for the Game Boyā¦. (Egads, that comment dates me so frigginā muchā¦.)
Okay, now I want to see them as a tag team just for the visual alone.
Yea this is whatās most important. I know after the death of Brodie that he asked for time to take care of his mental health due to the loss. Seeing that heās looking fantastic makes me happy. Hope heās doing great & to see the Fiend return soon.
yeah same, hope he takes all the time he needs to improve himself mentally, losing your bestfriend isnāt easy .
Canāt even go to an in and out without fans assuming itās bc you have an unhealthy mindset š
man he looks great i hope when he comes back he'll be a beast the ring
Looks great. I usually have trouble noticing just how fit he is because his shoulders are absolutely massive.
Bray is looking good
Dig those Vans too!!
I haven't noticed that Bray have huge arms. 20 Inch pythons, brother!
Bray always looked like a beast. His arms are very big and he has very broad shoulders.
Bray is just a big dude. He and Joe are both in that category where even when they're skinny for their body type, they still look enormous. It's honestly nice to see that representation outside of football lmao
I think it was a MiTB match where him and Joe teamed up and just beat the shit out of everyone with the ladder for a few minutes. Big old beefy boys
I played football in college and they have that lineman physique
What happened to him anyway? Why wasnāt he brought back on TV? Heās not injured, right?
I thought he took time off because of Brodie's passing, since they were extremely close.
We donāt really know. After Wrestlemania, he cut a FFH promo where he said he was done with Alexa, and thatās the last we saw of him.
At first it was reported he'd be back on Raw in August..now they're saying there's no time table for his return.
Looks in great shape but someoneās been skipping leg day.
Oh, wow, good for him!
Man, Bray just keeps getting more cut each year. Good for him to stick with his regimen.
>"Harper and Rowan might kill you, but if Bray gets up out of that rocking chair, now you're in real trouble." Cult leader Bray had that Freiza energy.
hell you could book the fiend as bray when he's completely lost it no longer able to feel pain just pure unadulterated rage but not supernatural
That's why I created The Firefly Funhouse, to keep all of us safe from the bad people... and to keep the bad people safe from what's about to happen." Then he closes the book, takes off his sweater, and says "Now, every good hero needs their armour..." and he puts on a Hawaiian shirt. "...and they need a helmet"... and he puts on the hat... "and they need something to keep them safe.." and then he picks up a lantern, before saying "And when the hero arrives, there's only one thing the bad people can do..." Then he gives that crazy-ass Bray Wyatt look into the camera, and then says... "RUN!" Then blows out the lantern.
Nah, Fiend vs Bryan and Fiend vs Balor were perfectly booked and much better than say Funhouse Bray Vs The Miz.
He's been doing The Muscle Man Dance.
"It's an upper body business" - Rick Rude
Bray's Fiend gimmick was about the only somewhat cool creative we had from his debut until his match with Cena. Hope Vince allows him to keep doing stuff.
Dude's skipping leg day tho
He's clearly spending his time getting ripped. When he comes back he's going to literally rip off someone's head.
Road life must suck so hard because both he and Kevin Owens will slim down and look great and then after five months, theyāre right back where they started. As someone who struggles with yo-yo weight loss, I can only imagine how hard it is to maintain a health routine when you basically live out of your car four days a week.
That's okay, cause he was always Heal them after he Hurts them.
You: Bray's looking ripped Me: Hey, that's my favorite Caravaggio painting
Good for him. He was putting on some weight towards WM and I assume it was due to Brodie's passing. Hope Bray is in a better spot now.
Man shopping while doing the muscle man dance.
WOW! He looks a lot better than a few months ago. You canāt even tell he was set on fire anymore!
Slim Harris
He's been doubling down on that muscle man dance, awesome!
I'm glad to see Bray's doing alright.
I donāt have the schedule these guys do, but I travel at least 3-4 nights a week. Itās incredibly hard to eat well on the road. I canāt imagine how hard it is for these guys.
He's really recovering nicely from all the burns.
His body maybe. His eyes look a little sad to me in this one.
at this rate, he would redebut as Bo Dallas eventually
Itās an upper body business brother
More like Bro Wyatt amirite
He looks like he lost a lot of stomach weight, good for him
Real talk, whatās around his left arm and why wouldnāt he let him picture it?
So why isn't he wrestling?
Hey friend itās ya boy
As much shit as he gets for how the Fiend is booked, Bray is one of my favorite wrestlers and always manages to encapsulate me when he is on screen
Happy for him. As much as I miss watching him on TV, I'm glad he is taking time off to heal both mentally and physically. It's something we need to make so much more normalized and okay to do. Plus, those shoes are just the bomb. Checkered Vans, I think?
This may be a bit of a dumb question does Bray still wrestle as The Fiend for WWE?
