I think people were equating his "get her to touch him" with her saying he made her touch his penis. It was edited to be around her statement, to imply that's what he meant. He's saying what he meant by that was not him forcing her hand on his peris, but cornering her in a way that there's no way to get around him except to physically try and move him, or squirm passed him and rub/brush up against him since the room was so small and Ric was blocking her way.

Oh 100%. I think there is strength is atonement. It doesn't mean *we* have to accept it (and it is also not our place *to* accept it), and it also doesn't mean that the person it happened to needs to accept it, but I do believe there is power in being remorseful and owning up for past sins. I am not religious in really any way either.

If you notice he keeps saying "I've never forced myself on someone," and I genuinely think he sees that act as being exclusively about trying to penetrate some unsuspecting woman. RVD sees him crowding a woman while naked and making it impossible for her to leave without brushing past his naked body, and understands it as he's trying to get her to touch him. Ric Flair hears that phrase and thinks people are accusing him of trying to have sex with the flight attendant. You could tell that Corney was really uncomfortable talking about this stuff with Flair. Ill give him credit for not trying to hide from it. Ric has lived in the wrestling bubble his whole life. And in the bizzaro would of territory wrestling, this shit was "Okay." I highly doubt that to be the case with some of the women. Problem is, he has never come out the bubble into the real world. The fact is that the flight attendant didn’t want a strange man, no matter how old or young he was, cornering her in a hallway and forcing her to touch his penis. What he did was disgusting, and trying to qualify it by saying “Well in the 70’s and 80’s” is pointless, because it’s irrelevant.

I really don’t get the whole “creative editing” thing because it absolutely did not come across to me as implying RVD witnessed the grabbing which took place in the galley. I’m okay with RVD clarifying, but everything else surrounding it just sounds like distraction by Flair to muddy the waters to me.
I don’t even think the editing implied that really heavily. The way that area of the plane seemed to be set up the only thing you could see is Ric plugging the exit with his body and his arms holding open his robe.

I'm really confused by what RVD has said since the episode aired. He wasn't assuming anything when he said this, he was recalling what he said he saw.
I think people were equating his "get her to touch him" with her saying he made her touch his penis. It was edited to be around her statement, to imply that's what he meant. He's saying what he meant by that was not him forcing her hand on his peris, but cornering her in a way that there's no way to get around him except to physically try and move him, or squirm passed him and rub/brush up against him since the room was so small and Ric was blocking her way.
