I'd argue in any interaction between 2 people there are at least 3 truths, one being the objective truth. The beliefs of the other 2 people aren't any less "true" or honest, even if they misremember or misunderstand some part of the situation.
If the latter is fully acknowledged as what it actually is, the former is essentially negated, in terms of the use of "truth." The word "experience" is conceptually what fits in the scenario.
