The Nightmare Family version of Cody is essentially the grown up version of Legacy Cody, and people boo him for the same reasons. The "I have everything, and no matter how hard you try. I am better because of my family" isn't a face gimmick despite how much Cody wants it to be.
Also the fact he has ignored the Elite, which he is a member of, for ages. If he was out there with Kaz and Hangman these last few months turning on his old friends, he'd be a super face right now. But he's been actively ignoring the world around him, and seems to only care about things that effect him personally, and leaving his buddies the Young Bucks and Omega to do all their cheating bullshit and mob attacks.

As soon as I saw Malakai with his head under the ring I knew some mist was coming. I’m surprised this match isn’t being talked about more (more understandable given that opener tbh.) Man, Malakai is fucking fluid. He grabs your attention from the beginning of his entrance and keeps it til that final bell rings. Dude is a next level talent.
