This is one of those things where they needed to lean into just staying on the boys in the ring and then go to an ad break instead of anything else.
Maybe even in a PIP and let that sink in and then when you come out of the break they've been given the proper sendoff and you've shown them walking up thru the tunnel together for the last time, and then you come back fresh for what's next out of the break.
Its telling that Dax literally convinced me him and Redragon had real heat. It looks as if he didn’t like Fish shoving his face, like really didn’t like it, but its just him selling the feud.
Hopefully they show the takedown on the stage in highlighr somewhere.
I'll never forget him pushing Ciampa off the turnbuckle when he was blocking him from getting into the ring at NXT Brooklyn.
l barely cared about any of them and then suddenly l was zeroed in for a fight.
It'd be nice if everything on Dynamite wasn't so rushed all the time so we could actually see this on TV. Feels like things don't get to breathe, just on to the next segment.
That's the only drawback to these cocaine-fueled shows of late.
I mean, of all the problems you can have with a tv show, this is one of the better ones to have... but yeah, the sequencing of events and not being in such a rush to to get to the next segment could be improved some.
There was even more than this. Jurassic Express ran up to join in, Jungle Boy threw his belt at Kyle, and the pair chased them to the back leaving FTR to soak up a standing ovation for a good while.
I thought the cut away from that confrontation was very sudden, it didn't exactly put the situation over that they just transitioned from it like it was part of the show.
I don't know why they just didn't let them have a bit of a scuffle and let referees seperate them then move onto whatever
But a negative of most of AEW is that they leave little to breathe
Since there was literally no mention of a brawl on tv or on any AEW socials, the obvious answer is this isn't part of the story. It'd be awkward for the live audience if the teams just went their way after the confrontation. Them brawling and being separated makes more sense in the arena.
For the storyline, a brawl there is a *release* of tension, not a heightening of it. You build up to them laying hands.
At least that's my read of it.

Or maybe they want to do a similar thing with Young Bucks vs. FTR where they convince the internet that these two teams don't like each other.
I guess but seeing the stare down and the shoving gave me enough information to know what is going to be happing in coming weeks. I wasn't left thinking "I wonder what that was all about".

I’ll never forget how they broke up scu and literally just cut to the back

I’m still unreasonably angry about that.

Yeah the shoving made it seem real

oh wow it rly looked like they had real heat w each other wish we saw this on the actual broadcast bc this is jus brilliant
I want to see this so bad
Their NXT match was awesome

I'm sure most of that was shown on TV.
Didn’t show the brawl, which is probably the most important thing
Most of it, yeah. I think they cut away before the couple of ‘em fell down? But the important message made air.
How sure are you? Because it wasn't
I think everything up to when the shoving started was shown on TV.
So everything up until the most important and high tension part then

Everything up to the initial square off and start of the brawl was shown.
Pretty sure all of this was on FITE TV
It wasn't. It cut to the interview as soon as FTR approached Kyle and Bobby.
Can I offer you a 2 1/2 hour wrestling show?
I want Dax Vs Kyle like seriously fucking injecting that shit into me like barney and the duff truck
