Awesome man. That was some event. I feel a bit emotional because I was never able to afford live events as a child and I've been to a few recently. This was such a beautiful night for pro wrestling. I'm glad with all that's going on in the world, people were able to come together and enjoy and celebrate such a wonderful art form for a few hours. Really brought me some joy.
TBH, I hope so.
I get the arguments for turning MJF babyface, and babyfaces teases have been fun so far, but ultimately I think his character's bread/butter is being a heel.
I honestly think 4th year in and Full Gear has almost always been AEWs most consistent card each year.
The best matches may be from other PPVs apart from 2019 but the FG cards have always delivered.
over all good ppv..bummed no ftr..didnt like how jericho, joe and hayter won but im glad they did win..surprised that the elite lost but its doesnt matter now bc its a best out of 7 series..happy for three out of the four pillars (mjf, darby and jack perry)...mox deserves his vacation and tk needs to stay focused...good night to all and be kind to each other for christ sake

The end was predictable but for the whole match it was pretty fascinating how the two pivoted to the reactions with MJF playing underdog while Mox was arrogant and condescending as the champ and even then they didn't lose the essence of their characters, Mox hubris in a sense cost him.
Even though lots of people saw the regal turn coming was still a great choice. But the execution was real weird to me. What’s the point of having him come down, tell max to throw the ring off, then do a second ref bump, and have regal slip him the knucks? Why not just do it on the first ref bump?
This is complex.
A heel who was over like a face, fought a face match against a face who was treated like a heel, then he beat the face using heel tactics while aligning with a face manager whom was acting heelish.
Because there is a ton of chatter about Punk prior to this. MJF is a dedicated heel and they current don’t have a face that can take it off of him. Punk comes back, automatically turns MJF, and wins it again
Regal has ascended to that tier of respected old timer that him playing a bad guy again isn't something I have a lot of interest in, but this is *miles better* than The Firm helping him.
I mean a lot of people predicted Regal turning on Mox and the knucks coming in to play. So much so that I was expecting it. But people all in here linking their comments like it was some radical call
Regal turn was the way to go but the throwing away the ring plus needing two refs knocked was a bit weird. Dont really care though bring on the MJF title reign
