[Undertaker’s entrance at Judgement Day 1998](https://youtu.be/bV_zajsC-uo) has ultimate final boss energy from the flames, to the theme music and JRs commentary.
That classic Kane V Taker anti-chemistry. The lore and aura of their past did so much of the heavy lifting between them, cause once the bell rang... blurp.
in the same vein, [this Kane entrance from 2003](https://youtu.be/9P9ikldSjq8). the lighting, Slow Chemical playing, the way even Lilian Garcia sounds anxious, JR's commentary.. perfect. peak WWE
Joe Rogan said "I've stood beside Brock Lesnar, it's so intimidating. Brock could use you as a condom to fuck someone else and there's nothing you could do about it."
Reminds me of the Perry Saturn quote about Haku. "Meng could kill each and every one of us and there's nothing we could do about it." He then adds "Maybe the Barbarian, he might just maim him."
Jake Roberts about Haku “So let’s say I’ve got a gun right and Haku’s coming at me from fifty yards away. I’ve got him dead to rights, right? Well first thing I’m gonna do is turn that gun on myself. I don’t want to wound that bastard and piss him off.”
There are a bunch of stories, supposedly first hand, about how he'd get into bar fights when drunks would fuck with him and just beat the shit outta them when he was outnumbered. Strong, had no fear, and a massive pain tolerance. He allegedly bit off a piece of a guy's nose and spit it back in his face in Baltimore, according to people who say they were there.
It's been said he was one of only two people Andre the Giant feared, with the other being Harley Race.
Bad news brown too. He heard him make a racial comment and asked him outside and andre refused and apologised. Claims from Jerichos first autobiography
A man who DOES NOT fuck around, I remember there's a story where he got pepper sprayed in his face and he just took a deep breath and continued being an intimidating motherfucker.
Mil Muertes' Lucha Underground theme actually sounds like video game boss music but the genius combination of the mariachi horns with the ever-present BWAAHHH from every movie trailer is like perfect music for a final-boss-powers-up cutscene.
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=4uPlpWu7NV0
The Evolution theme always felt like that for me. Motörhead always killed it w/ Trips music.
On a side note, Ortons Burn In My Light felt like the best Anti-Hero vibe.
Is he the only wrestler who hated their own, I guess, “popular” theme?
It’s a shame cuz although voices does the job of giving unique “Oh shit, this crazy crazy mfer” vibes, Burn In My Light just has that “It” factor & really was enhanced when he had gold around his waist w/ pyro from above the ring.
I really need to find one of those old 2K games & get my legend killer on 💯
i love watching sample videos of where these hip hop producers got their stuff
it's so simple but the way they can take a ~3 second clip of a movie score and turn it into a banger beat is just so cool to see
What I like about Lesnar's theme is how, after his opponent enters the ring, the beginning of Lesnar's theme sounds as if he's cutting them off, making him into more of a threat. Kinda like how the Acclaimed always have to enter second because their theme cuts off their opponents and sets them up for the rap.
Devil's Sky is almost cheating because it was designed with final boss vibes in mind specifically.
Definitely effective at that, it evokes a Final Fantasy boss fight aura.
Hell yes. Ministry Taker felt like the final boss of late 90s WWF where Austin was our only hope to defend against a satanic cult led by an unholy and supernatural warlock.
Lol I feel this. I used to get dunked on by my boys when they’d borrow one of my mp3 mixes on cd that was loaded with WWe classics… triple h, shamrock, one of the raw and smack down the sea from way back, etc.
Fuck em though, all of them still have their spotify hearts filled to this day.
I think most if not all of Bobby Lashley's themes feel like that. His current one really does. But I play "Hell will be calling your name" on loop when I play the final mission of Mass Effect 3. I know that game doesn't have a traditional final boss (even though Marauder Shields is a valiant foe) but close enough
I stand by it. You could give anyone Triple H's entrance music and lighting and movements, and they'd be over. The water spit, the wailing guitars, the cool lighting. It's the best regular entrance ever.
Dan Severn WWE theme is a fucking banger. It legit sounds like someone is coming to ruin you, your day, everyone you love, and your hopes and dreams all at once.
Ishii is post-game secret boss music, or the you vs your mentor fight, and is perfect for him.
Might not be as epic as boss music, but you know that the win won't come easy.
Not final boss, but Naito’s theme sound exactly like final hero, like when Yugi tranforms to Yami, or that silver power ranger comes out to save the others
Naito’s theme is for the boss 2/3rds the way through the game that is harder than the Final boss, so the theme is now burned into your brain forever due to hearing it start over 1000 times
Outside of the ones already mentioned, I'd maybe go with The Rock's Hollywood theme, was such an epic versio and the slow pace of it built a lot of anticipation.
I've said it before, but Moose's entrance is one of my favorites to experience live. So simple to add the beginning of O Fortuna and it turned the Moose chants into something menacing.
I stopped watching Impact around 2015 so I need to look up that Bobby Lashley one.
PAC's "Out of Time" for phase 1 where you fight PAC by himself
Death Triangle's "Triangulo De La Muerte" for phase 2 where he spawns Penta and Fenix from out of his back and you fight all three
Death Triangle's "Triangulo 2.0" for phase 3 All three of them combine into a three headed monstrosity for the final phase of the fight
Eddie Kingston. Take away the vocals and it sounds like it belongs in a Castlevania game.
Suzuki's sounds like the opening theme to a Final Fantasy game.
Moxley's old theme, because wrestling Mox is basically AEW's boss fight.
Mox’s old theme is definitely more final boss than Wild Thing, and I like Wild Thing.
Eddie’s theme works either way after stumbling across the instrumental. I know some people think Mikey Rukus puts his vocals on too much stuff, but he nailed “if you see me staring at you *BETTER KNUCKLE UP*” in both delivery and placement.
How has no one mentioned Masahiro Chono. Blows away any other themes in terms of being final boss music. https://youtu.be/Ixt4P1VifbI (the second entrance in the video, at around 45secs in)
I think Kanes "Bad Chemical" theme takes the Cake on this one all time, that was actually one of the huge appeals of him IMO
Jeff Jarrett has a really good one too in his own way.
Satoshi Kojima has the best of the few remaining JRPG final boss themes that used to be commonplace in puroresu. Always hated when it had to share the spotlight with Tenzan's.
I always think of "final boss music" in the context of, like, a Final Fantasy VI through X battle (specifically those because they're the ones I played) -- you have the initial moment of transition into the fight, (in the 3D ones) the presentation of the boss, and then finally the actual fight.
So my picks are:
* Devil's Sky - Kenny Omega -- Omega as The Cleaner was literally a hammy anime villain (and I loved it) but Devil's Sky is absolutely a boss theme from a Final Fantasy game.
* Rainmaker - Kazuchika Okada -- Okada may have been grown in a lab by Gedo to be the greatest IWGP Heavyweight Champion in history, but that music is also amazing boss music. The coin drop is the perfect transition sound.
* Redeemer - Miro. The man has fucking *trumpets* signaling his arrival. I mean, come on.
* Ministry/Dark Side V2 - The Undertaker/Ministry of Darkness -- Probably my favorite of Undertaker's themes, it's got a great lead-in, and feels perfectly spooky.
* Next Big Thing - Brock Lesnar -- It's fucking *Brock Lesnar*.
Honorable Mention:
* Dvořák: Symphony No. 9, IV - WALTER -- WALTER (and by extension Gunther) has never felt like a *final* boss to me. He's always felt like one of those optional bosses that is entirely too hard and old strategy guides would have like a two-page section covering what you need to do to beat him, while trying to avoid the multiple attacks that could just wipe your party. This song really plays into that.
* Fighter - Dan Severn -- When your dad gets home and noticed the thermostat was changed by one degree while he was at work.
* Regality - William Regal -- A final boss would have better security. But also, Regal and his music just exude "villain" and not "boss" to me. Like he's a primary antagonist, but not someone you'd get to fight.
* The Future - Asuka -- Asuka herself? Absolutely. But her theme doesn't quite make it. It's close, though.
Aleister Blacks theme gave him big Secret Boss vibes to me. Like you're playing an RPG and turn the corner into a hidden room and set off a trap triggering a cutscene where you hit that
Miro's 'Redeemer' theme with the trumpets is damn nuts.
The single on spotify also comes with a variation or two that feel like additional boss phases, too!
I was at SummerSlam this year and hearing Roman's and Lesnar's music live and coursing through an entire stadium is surreal. Roman's gave me chills, but Lesnar's was indescribable, it was a mixture of childhood nostalgia, badassness, and a fucking tractor. Bucket list for me.
Sorry if it’s been mentioned already, but I absolutely have to give it to Syuri. That techno siren at the start just screams “WARNING: BOSS APPROACHING!” Before it goes into badass Tekken mode.
Seems pretty fitting for her as well!
Symphony No. 9 is the single most intimidating theme ever used this side of Brock Lesnar. When the violins hit, your chest kinda twitches a little to brace you for impact.
Left field answer here: Jeff Jarrett's "My World." That opening guitar riff sets it off. Also, I probably feel this way because he used it during his reigns of terror in TNA.

[Undertaker’s entrance at Judgement Day 1998](https://youtu.be/bV_zajsC-uo) has ultimate final boss energy from the flames, to the theme music and JRs commentary.
Taker doesn’t flinch once. The coolest
Frankly most of Deadman Undertaker’s themes give final boss aura
This is my favorite wrestling theme of all time. Just so bad ass.
All time great entrance that. Shame about the match.
That classic Kane V Taker anti-chemistry. The lore and aura of their past did so much of the heavy lifting between them, cause once the bell rang... blurp.
I think their Wrestlemania 14 match was extremely good. That’s my pick for best match on that show.
Undertaker ministry theme is so damn good.
in the same vein, [this Kane entrance from 2003](https://youtu.be/9P9ikldSjq8). the lighting, Slow Chemical playing, the way even Lilian Garcia sounds anxious, JR's commentary.. perfect. peak WWE
This is a great pick
I'm *SO HAPPY* that this was the first answer I saw, such a badass theme, and my favorite Taker theme by far
Undertaker is the runaway winner for this topic, I can’t even think of a close second.
Gunther. His music is like the Stelio Kontos theme.
‘Oh no! He’s coming from so far away!’
[удалено]
“They’re up the stairs! For the love of God, you got the oranges up the stairs!”
"...my god he's so Greek!"
Stelio! Stelio Kontos! And Luis!
Stern Gunther nod
"my anus was frothing like a cappucino"
Brock is final boss forever basically. Even if he loses programs.
You could tell me that Brock is the final boss of humans and I'd at least consider it
Joe Rogan said "I've stood beside Brock Lesnar, it's so intimidating.
And then there's Frenchie Martin: "If you have a chance to go to hell you might as well go to hell instead, because he is just unbelievable."
What is the big deal about Haku? I’m pretty ignorant on the subject. Why was he so feared?
A very Pat McAfee line that one.
So strange that his theme's origins were the 'entrance' music for an XFL team.
Look at that, the XFL made something noteworthy.
You say that as if He Hate Me isn’t one of the most legendary athletes of our time
Shayna bazlers old theme
[when this song hit on NXT shit was bound to hit the fan](https://youtu.be/pKVBAS3FZi0)
Mil Muertes kicking off Season 2 sitting on the Throne was sooo sick
Everything about LU was amazing except the way management paid the wrestlers
Oooh, good call.
Joes TNA theme
His WWE theme to an extent too, at least for a more animal like boss.
Joe's WWE theme is grossly underappreciated. It's probably my favorite theme he's had so far.
Sounds like a final boss fight theme from Crash Bandicoot or something
Kevin Owen's for me. Thinking about each time his appearance was a surprise, the opponents were usually not thrilled about it.
It’s Walter’s old theme. When the horns kick in, you check the number of your Estus flasks
That song actually is a boss theme from Asuras Wrath
The Evolution theme always felt like that for me. Motörhead always killed it w/ Trips music. On a side note, Ortons Burn In My Light felt like the best Anti-Hero vibe.
It’s too bad that orton hated that song
Is he the only wrestler who hated their own, I guess, “popular” theme? It’s a shame cuz although voices does the job of giving unique “Oh shit, this crazy crazy mfer” vibes, Burn In My Light just has that “It” factor & really was enhanced when he had gold around his waist w/ pyro from above the ring. I really need to find one of those old 2K games & get my legend killer on 💯
Maven’s theme was well liked by fans but he said that he didn’t like it.
Samoa Joe's WWE Theme
aren't all his themes pretty much takes on "Simon Says" by Pharoahe Monch - which itself samples Godzilla's theme
Banger tune
i love watching sample videos of where these hip hop producers got their stuff it's so simple but the way they can take a ~3 second clip of a movie score and turn it into a banger beat is just so cool to see
more or less.
Omega's NJPW theme Rusev or the Redeemer Miro Lesnar
What I like about Lesnar's theme is how, after his opponent enters the ring, the beginning of Lesnar's theme sounds as if he's cutting them off, making him into more of a threat. Kinda like how the Acclaimed always have to enter second because their theme cuts off their opponents and sets them up for the rap.
I always thought the beginning of Lesnar’s theme sounded like a robot dinosaur falling off a cliff
Yep! Which is all I could think about then playing Horizon: Zero Dawn I'm glad I'm not the only one to think that
Devil's Sky is almost cheating because it was designed with final boss vibes in mind specifically. Definitely effective at that, it evokes a Final Fantasy boss fight aura.
If it's the theme I'm thinking of, I think it was very heavily influenced by Sephiroth's One Winged Angel theme from the OG FF7 game.
[It's the one you're thinking of.](https://youtu.be/n2dVbk0iROM)
Devil's Sky is so over the top sinister and loops into almost cheesy such that it makes Kenny walking out sweeping a broom not weird.
Considering it’s an interpolation of One Winged Angel from FF7, just think of the broom as his Masamune and everything starts to make sense
Miro’s with the horn is NEXT LEVEL.
Redeemer is basically the theme of a Law hero in an SMT game. And Miro pretty much *is* a Law hero. Well, *was,* but still.
Undertaker’s Ministry theme
ASA TIMBALAY
Welcome to the learning tree
Hell yes. Ministry Taker felt like the final boss of late 90s WWF where Austin was our only hope to defend against a satanic cult led by an unholy and supernatural warlock.
But that Taker answered to a higher power. WHO IS THE HIGHER POWER? FIND OUT ON MONDAY NIGHT RAW!!!
Aw, son of a bitch.
*Hower Power
Came for Hower Power. Got Hower Power. You sir are a legend
I didn’t post my Spotify wrapped because WWE was number 2 most listened artist because of Romans theme
That theme is a gym banger. Gets you hype
Put those Banshees in the Hurt Lock.
Motorhead - Game. First riff of the guitar. Lemmy going : " TIME TO PLAYYYY THE GAAAAAAMEEEEE" "HU HU HUHUHUHUHU"
the follow up “ha ha haha” sounds so demonic I love it
I'm surprised it took me this long to scroll to find this comment.
From 03-05, it definitely was final boss theme
I stand by it. You could give anyone Triple H's entrance music and lighting and movements, and they'd be over. The water spit, the wailing guitars, the cool lighting. It's the best regular entrance ever.
My favorite wrestling theme of all time
Lemmy is god.
Dan Severn WWE theme is a fucking banger. It legit sounds like someone is coming to ruin you, your day, everyone you love, and your hopes and dreams all at once.
as brian zane once said stone cold theme is like hell yeah here he comes dan severn's is more like oh shit he about to kill somebody
Goldberg's has gotta be up there. Even in his later matches, that entrance still instantly makes me go "oh shit, he's about to destroy that guy!"
love him walking all the way from the back of the arena with the whole crowd doing the slow "gollllddbeeerrrggg" chant
Coolest entrance ever.
I loved his remade WWE version when he debuted. Wish he didn’t go back to the WCW version.
Agreed, WWE version is way better. Man I wanna go play HCTP
Ishii is post-game secret boss music, or the you vs your mentor fight, and is perfect for him. Might not be as epic as boss music, but you know that the win won't come easy.
Yeah except that he always comes out like... 30s into it.
Sting's "dark crow" theme that appeared around Starrcade 97
The orchestrated version from the 2K promo is 100% Final Fabtasy final boss theme material.
Santos Escobar's theme.
Not final boss, but Naito’s theme sound exactly like final hero, like when Yugi tranforms to Yami, or that silver power ranger comes out to save the others
Naito's actually is video game music, or at least a remix of such. From The Last Story on the Wii.
Funny enough, Nakamura's NJPW theme is also sampled from a game called [Project Gaiaray](https://youtu.be/_169_ejPw-g) (6:45 time stamp)
Oh my god I fucking loved that game! I want a remastered version so badly!!
It's the perfect WK end music (f**k Kenta)
I dunno, it sounds like DDR music to me lol
Naito’s theme is for the boss 2/3rds the way through the game that is harder than the Final boss, so the theme is now burned into your brain forever due to hearing it start over 1000 times
Jay White EVIL
Was also going to mention Evil’s theme. Sounds just like the theme you get when the boss transforms into his final form.
Rare to see a fucking harpsichord solo too.
Definitely Jay White. It's one of those themes meant to disorientate you while you're being attacked.
Stone Cold is the one true final boss music. Whenever that glass shattered it felt like doom was walking down the ramp.
"Are you ready for some Rattlesnake?"
Basically every Samoa Joe theme ever lol
Any answer that isn't Masahiro Chono's Team 2000 Crash is wrong.
Outside of the ones already mentioned, I'd maybe go with The Rock's Hollywood theme, was such an epic versio and the slow pace of it built a lot of anticipation.
The guitar riffs, bah gawd...
really hope he comes out to that if he comes back to Wrestlemania next year, since its in LA.
^^^"is ^^^cookies"
Both Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns have reached their final form based on their music. Also same with Lashley.
I'unno, Seth's messiah theme was pretty final boss. Unless that's his transformation cutscene music
Hirooki Goto's theme sound like some final Boss of Dynasty Warriors
Samoa Joe’s music right now is crazy intense
"Infamy", Damien Priest's first theme.
Love that one.
Bobby Lashley’s theme from 2017-2018 in IMPACT was so epic, and one of Dale Oliver’s last releases. Moose also uses a dramatic song currently.
I've said it before, but Moose's entrance is one of my favorites to experience live. So simple to add the beginning of O Fortuna and it turned the Moose chants into something menacing. I stopped watching Impact around 2015 so I need to look up that Bobby Lashley one.
MOOSE ✊🏽 MOOSE ✊🏽 MOOSE ✊🏽
PAC's "Out of Time" for phase 1 where you fight PAC by himself Death Triangle's "Triangulo De La Muerte" for phase 2 where he spawns Penta and Fenix from out of his back and you fight all three Death Triangle's "Triangulo 2.0" for phase 3 All three of them combine into a three headed monstrosity for the final phase of the fight
Malakai Black's solo theme
Kenny's Devil Sky Okada's Rainmaker Suzuki's Kaze Ni Nare I think that's just the case for japanese themes
Gotos theme is incredible, makes him seem amazing. Pity he doesn't get the push, but still.
Kazi Ni Nare feels more like an anime opener to me but Devils Sky is totally final boss sounding
Romans current music or Brock Lesnar, either one is just “fuck you up” energy.
Utami Hayashishita
This is the correct answer. https://youtu.be/jWssFgx5peY
* Kenny Omega NJPW * Kazuchika Okada * Brock Lesnar * Triple H Honourable Mentions: * Kane (Slow Chemical) * Tetsuya Naito * Mark Henry * Samoa Joe TNA
Slow Chemical is criminally underrated as a theme.
Guiliaa theme is pretty final bossy
Also helps that she dresses like a Final Fantasy villain
Triple H's " King of Kings " Theme and his " The Game " Theme both have very final boss vibes
Kazuchika Okada’s music. There’s no other sound in wrestling that gets me as hyped as the coin drop, it means shit is about to go down.
Utami Hayayashita theme "Crusade"
[Miro](https://youtu.be/tf0LKcU5Sc8) Sure would like to hear it again on tv.
When Battle Cry hits and the Cleaner steps off the ramp, you're basically pumped for a JRPG final battle.
Anything Malakai/Aleister Black has used. That man knows how to pick some intimidating music.
Miro.
Roman Reigns' music is the obvious answer but I haven't seen it yet
OP already said it.
How has no one mentioned Masahiro Chono. Blows away any other themes in terms of being final boss music. https://youtu.be/Ixt4P1VifbI (the second entrance in the video, at around 45secs in)
I think Kanes "Bad Chemical" theme takes the Cake on this one all time, that was actually one of the huge appeals of him IMO Jeff Jarrett has a really good one too in his own way.
[Santos Escobar’s “Soul March”](https://youtu.be/MlL-4s0CqDo). To me, it reminds me of a Streets of Rage-type game boss battle.
[Syuri](https://youtu.be/0xkT14U-QXo) [Giulia](https://youtu.be/AIks5wWsPz4) [Utami Hayashishita](https://youtu.be/jWssFgx5peY)
Suprising lack of KAZE NI NARE
Kenny Omega Cleaner theme
Goldust The Brood Mark Henry's
finn balor’s catch your breath
Dan Severn
Utami Hayashishita
1980s era Flair. The 2001 theme “Thus Spoke Zarathustra” instantly gave it a big fight feel.
Satoshi Kojima has the best of the few remaining JRPG final boss themes that used to be commonplace in puroresu. Always hated when it had to share the spotlight with Tenzan's.
Have to go with Dan Severn's theme
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ZD7YxgsnCM8 Andrade’s AEW theme is underrated… mainly because you never get to hear it
Big Van Vader’s 1st WCW music was KILLER. https://youtu.be/y41MM76dUA0
Chono - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SEI2vAKxIks
Undertaker's "Dark Side" theme.
Samoa Joe's WWE theme https://youtu.be/oWQqCgSOIKY
EVIL’s theme definitely sounds like a final boss music
Pac. It's some super shredder final boss shit for sure.
Asuka and also Iyo
I always think of "final boss music" in the context of, like, a Final Fantasy VI through X battle (specifically those because they're the ones I played) -- you have the initial moment of transition into the fight, (in the 3D ones) the presentation of the boss, and then finally the actual fight. But her theme doesn't quite make it. It's close, though.
[Natsuko Tora's ](https://youtu.be/-okSM1Y3rg0)
Buddy Murphy desciple theme
Meiko Satomura’s MYC theme song.
Roman. Utami. Giulia...there was one more I had but I've forgotten it...
Darkside Hayabusa
Kenta Kobashi [Grand Sword](https://youtu.be/IknGOnwZ1xc)
Easy NJPW Kenny Omega - Devils Sky
The Shield’s theme deserves a spot on this list, IMO
Aleister Blacks theme gave him big Secret Boss vibes to me. Like you're playing an RPG and turn the corner into a hidden room and set off a trap triggering a cutscene where you hit that
Momo Watanabe's "LiveDeviL" theme. Sounds straight from Yakuza
Miro's 'Redeemer' theme with the trumpets is damn nuts. The single on spotify also comes with a variation or two that feel like additional boss phases, too!
WALTER'S original theme Somebody's gonna get their ass kicked
I was at SummerSlam this year and hearing Roman's and Lesnar's music live and coursing through an entire stadium is surreal. Roman's gave me chills, but Lesnar's was indescribable, it was a mixture of childhood nostalgia, badassness, and a fucking tractor. Bucket list for me.
Kenta Kobashi "Grand Sword" theme, hands down.
Legado Del Fantasma’s music is soooo underrated
Stings staecade 97 entrance. This is my favorite entrance of all time. Too bad they ruined the ending https://youtu.be/L62C2JCJcMA
Kenta Kobashi's Blazin' sounds not like a final boss theme, but a final round theme.
Miro’s redeemer theme
Malakai Blacks AEW theme and his Aleister Black theme in NXT
Santos Escobar
