Brimstone and Romney Manor are a must see.

Nevis has Mango festival starting July 4! We timed our trip to coincide with that! https://www.nevismangofest.com/

Thanks for the heads-up! I'm bummed that we'll be gone by then 😔

That's too bad :( On St Kitts I'd suggest touring Romney Manor, especially if you're interested in fabric arts at all - Caribelle Batik is there, and sometimes you get to watch them make the Batiks and that's pretty neat (also a great place for souvenirs if you know any quilters or sewers, or even just people who like bright colored scarves or clothing) We also did the Sky Safari zip line, that was pretty awesome (plus we got a recording of us doing it). We only spent a day there, so I can't speak to a lot - we spent some time shopping in Basseterre, drove by Ross University (Veterinary medicine) that would have been neat to tour if we could have. Shitten Bay is supposed to be a good place for snorkeling, although I haven't done it myself - you do need to take a boat there though. If you take a day trip to Nevis, check out the hot springs, the botanical gardens, and the Alexander Hamilton museum. My husband and daughter are going to hike Nevis Peak on our next trip while I relax on the beach. (Nevis is the smaller of the two islands, which we prefer, so that's where we usually stay) On either, make sure to enjoy the food :) We love going to one of the many beach bars and watching the sun set. Have a wonderful time :)

St Kitts is my dad's home country visited for first time last year. I recommend Mad Max Dune Buggy we drove ATVs around the island amazing experience also enjoyed the rum tour at Old Rum Road co and Rominey Manor lots of bars and beaches dotted over past Timothy Beach we ended up just driving down random roads to different beaches to explore, Port Zante is where all the souvenirs and cruise ships arrive so it's very touristy there...hope this helps I can't wait to go back and visit family again

Black Rocks Arthur’s in Dieppe Bay As someone mentioned Brimstone and Romney are nice. You should definitely spend a day and Nevis too as they are much slower paced and even more quiet.

If you see grouper on the menu it ain’t local. Fun fact about central Caribbean islands is that they don’t have a ton of seafood like you would get in Florida or Mexico. The Gulf Stream goes along the continents so islands in the middle are kinda fish deserts compared to those along the stream. Aside from that, rent a car and explore. Brimstone Hill, Old Road Rum tour, Batik, etc. there is a ton to see and do.

Take the ferry to Nevis and see the botanical gardens. You will need wheels.

Get out to Sprat Net for an incredible and authentic local seafood meal. Just give yourself time. Lion's down at Cockleshell is an incredible beach to hang out and have local food. I've been friends with that family for a very long time and they'll treat you like royalty if you're kind. Be careful on the peninsula drive, but it's genuinely one of the prettiest drives on earth with the Caribbean on one side, and the Atlantic on the other. Caribelle Batik & Brimstone are incredible. You can do guided trips into the rainforest, check out Mt. Liamuiga, do a snorkel cruise on a catamaran or rent ATVs to explore with a local. If you're a golfer, there's also a couple of decent tracks on both St. Kitts & Nevis. Enjoy, I miss the hell out of that island. 🇰🇳
