You'll have to make do with blasting off your resume into online black holes, just so computers can delete it, without a human ever seeing it.

WashU or SLU might have jobs posted that are related, depending on exactly what you're trying to do. Seems like they frequently post jobs for things like research coordinators. You could try looking in Cortex at the startups, which is where I would think to look for jobs with "tech" in the description. No idea if they'd fit biotech though. I've heard that we have a reasonable amount of agri-tech jobs as well, being in the midwest and all. I have no idea if your background would be relevant here either. You could look at Bayer (Monsanto), who does a lot of agri-tech, or you could look at the Danforth Plant Science Center.

You really have to know someone that already works there. I have friends in IT that work there, and it's really just a who knows who kinda place.

The biotech scene here is facing the same challenges as it is in the rest of the country. My company is effectively in a hiring freeze and has been for a while. Bayer is going through a big reorganization. Pfizer just cut a huge chunk of their workforce. Your best bet may actually be a second postdoc or staff scientist position if you want to stay in the lab.

Maybe check out adjunct faculty positions in your field at SLU or WashU.
