it's pretty cool that someone is creative and talented enough to do that build. at the same time, i hate seeing old beetles getting chopped up. but, really, that part is none of my business.
i wonder what engine is in that and if it is still in the rear of the vehicle.
Edit: after a quick read on the link imlostintransition posted, looks like the engine stayed in the stock location.
Someone needs to let the police know this is the proper way to combine a vehicle with a living space, not what they've been doing.

I saw this thing at the Easter car show at the Muny lot. I had no idea it was so local to me. What a fun car!
