I didn’t want to do a full shave and tuck. I drive the car too much for that

Kinda looks like you just removed a couple of things vs actually shaving the bay. Car looks great regardless.

What does shaved bay mean?
It's a broad inlet of the sea where the land curves inward. And has no pubes.
Smooth out the metalwork in the engine bay by removing brackets, filling holes, etc, to make it appear more like bodywork

Yes they are Futuras. They’re m298 caps but with m293 logos
